MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-22-2013 10:52 PMBasically, if you were in charge of a Jurassic Park, what would the main attractions be? What souvenirs would you have? etc. Any and all ideas are good ideas (exept dinosaur fights, that's terrible, and expensive).
Mine would be be like this:
Attractions:
Dinosaurs (obviously), some rides, car/truck rides through non aggressive herbivore enclosure, cheap souvenirs, etc.
Tours:
There would be the main walkway with a trolley that goes past all the enclosures, and there would be a tour where you can get a ride in a truck around in a valley with nothing but gentle herbivores, as well as an underground viewing area for the carnivores.
Vehicles:
One kind, Ram 6500 V10 T-Rex 6X6.
Souvenirs:
The usual novelty stuff. Cups, shirts, hats, sweaters, stuffed dinosaurs, pictures, posters, balloons, teeth, scales, etc.
Prices:
Let's not get into that, reasonable prices, and remember, Jurassic Park doesn't only cater to the super rich. No taxes, no one likes taxes.
Layout:
Little known dinosaur families and herbivores first, followed by Dromeasaurs and Tyrannosaurs and Spinosaurs.

MemberCompsognathusNov-22-2013 11:19 PMI'd have a similar park to yours. I'd keep the most aggressive predators far from the other dinosaurs(T-rex and Spino for example would be a good distance from each other) and all predators would be under max security.
Lord Vader
MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-22-2013 11:22 PMObviously the predators would be spaced out and max security. Imagine if some random gjy were to go to you with some papers and say "Congradulations, you now own a dinosaur park, have fun." That would be kinda weird, and then the most epic thing ever.

MemberCompsognathusNov-23-2013 3:56 AMHmm, where to begin. Okay, first, tons of dinosawith icing with eachother. A dinosaur battle arena, an enclosed train tour of the park, sudo underground viewing areas like the ones in jpog, other than that, I mostly agree with MrHappy. Max security, I mean, there is backup power generator in the raptor exhibits, no one it going to get to that and upturn off the power. Many, many staff, all carrying around high powered tranq and paid well to ensure loyalty. (The American way, flash some money and nothing ever happened)

MemberCompsognathusNov-23-2013 4:13 AMMine would have a lot of small carnivores and herbivores, followed by few large Carnivores, such as Rex, Spino, Giga and Carcha.
The security for the last ones would be of course, very well maintained, and formed by: a small, thick Plexiglass fence, followed by a 20ft wide and 15ft deep moat. Behind that would stay the main fence, a classic 24ft tall electric fence, renforced with cement.
For the other dinosaurs, a 20ft electric fence, secured by a wood fence for the visitors, would be enough.
Tours: Of course, there would be a river cruise along the park, a long stone path covered by many banches, where to rest, an underground seen of all dinosaurs, like in modern large aquariums, and finally, a car tour in all herbivores fences. People will get to see dinosaurs in this:
Buildings: I'd had some entrance, of course, as well as kiosks, restaurants, hotels and museums. I'd had as well, an aquatic facility and an AViary.
Prices and Souvenirs: I don't get into that, too similar to your's.
So that would be my Park in a few words.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-24-2013 7:03 AMChinese build toy Hummers? Haha, I'm just kidding, I know what you mean. Personally, if I were opening a Park, i would want vehicles BIGGER, than my dad's Truck. It's a Ram 2500 (labeled 1500) Mega cab with a 5.7 litre Hemi in it and four wheel drive.
My dad's Truck is black with the chrome, not blue, and it has bigger, all terrain tires. Rarely ever see anything on the road bigger than it (other than semis and buses of course).
I chose the V10 for the badassery of having a vehicle called the T-Rex.

MemberCompsognathusNov-24-2013 7:19 AMNice truck, that would be very cool too, I just thought a "Chinese build toy Hummers" would be more Jurassic Park-ish, if you get what I mean ;)

MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-24-2013 7:56 AMI get it. I personally am not a fan of Hummers (other than the AMC military ones), and would choose something you don't see very often (the V10 for example, or even the Mega Cab, hell, if it got me money I'd use the Ford Raptor). On the topic of Hummers, my neighbour (within 200 yards), ALWAYS, has a different freaking Hummer that he's driving around.
I'm getting a Jeep (hopefully, today even). It's a '93 Wrangeler, 5 speed manual, 4x4, has the right mirrors, mount for a spare tire, and even cover and interior. The only thing missing is the rims.

MemberCompsognathusJan-13-2014 2:29 PMYou said no Dino Fights, does that mean that i'm not allowed to have a special paddock in which some of the more exciting carnivores are shown hunting goats, cows etc.?

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-13-2014 2:57 PMI meant no Dino vs Dino. Showing them hunting would cool (maybe on a sick/old herbivore I would have a Theropod out with it).

MemberCompsognathusJan-13-2014 3:22 PMThat would be a great way to show the Non-Dinosaur Enthusiasts some of the underrated/unknown dinosaurs (Ceratosaurus,Tarbosaurus, etc.)
