The Flood
A few weeks after the heat wave, rain poured down for days, causing minor flooding. What none of the creatures in the area realized, was that there was a lake at the top of a cliff with about two feet of rock between the edge and the water. The rock began to crack, and several minutes later, broke. The water poured out of the lake into the river below, carrying anything that got in it's path for miles.
Terrance and Thorn had been eating, and Sylvester was fishing when the flood reached that section of the river. Sylvester was carried for miles down the river, and managed to escape when he was pushed close to the shore.
Terrance and Thorn didn't know what to do, and the water was rising quickly. They decided to leave for high ground. When they reached the top of a hill, they watched as countless creatures got swept into the river. Nothing was safe, even the Giganotosaurus and Charcarodontosaurus got swept away. They watched the river, and looked toward where it came from, and saw the waterfall was beginning to die down.
When the river started to go back to its original size, Terrance and Thorn went to see what had happened. When they got to the shore, they saw dead dinosaurs all along the shore, as far as they could see. They didn't let this buffet go to waste, and began to eat. After eating their fill, they looked around for somewhere to rest. Their territory that was shared with Sylvester was still submerged, so they looked for refuge on higher ground. When they found a suitable area, they looked around, and after confirming nothing was around, went to sleep.
Jack of all trades. Master of none
