Fight
A large Teratophoneus wanders his territory, looking for food. He's getting hungry and will eat just about anything. During his search, he catches the scent of blood and rotting flesh. He quickly heads in the direction of the smell. When he arrives, he finds the carcass of a large Parasaurolophus. As he nears the carcass, a female Lythronax raises her head from the other side. She opens her blood covered jaws and roars loudly. The Teratophoneus is offended by the Lythronax's presence in his territory and he's offended at the challenge. He roars back and leaps forward. He clears the whole carcass and stretches his legs out to slash the Lythronax with his claws. The Teratophoneus comes down, but the Lythronax is not there. She got out of the way in time and now is attacking. She charges forward and slams her head into the smaller Teratophoneus. He stumbles back and trips over the tail of the Parasaurolophus. The Lythronax charges again and jumps toward the Teratophoneus. He stretches his powerful legs out and places them on the stomach of the Lythronax. He then kicks up and sends her flying head over heels into a tree, knocking it down. Both predators get up and stare each other down. The Lythronax cracks it's neck in an eerily human way. The Teratophoneus flashes his long teeth and roars. The female attacks, but the male Teratophoneus is too fast and gets out of the way. He slashes her shoulder with his curved teeth and leaps back. She wips around and catches him in the upper jaw with her tail, breaking a few of his teeth. One becomes lodged in her tail and she roars in pain. Pterosaurs begin to circle like vultures, waiting for death. One comes down and divebombs the Teratophoneus. He snaps at the pterosaur and the Lythronax takes advantage of his distraction. She attacks with amazing ferocity. She clamps down on his arm with bone shattering force. The Teratophoneus screams in pain. The Lythronax bites down again and again. Time after time, bone is broken and the arm is reduced to a mangled mess. Then, she pushes the Teratophoneus down while still holding his arm. She wrenches back and rips it off. The Teratophoneus looks at his stump of an arm and looks at the Lythronax in absolute hate. She's taken back by the look he gives and he strikes back. He leaps forward and slashes her face open. She roars in pain as her left eye falls out of it's socket and blood pours down her face. She swings her head wildly in an attempt to get the blood out of her good eye. Luckily for her, she manages to smash the Teratophoneus with her snout and he stumbles back a bit. While she struggles with her injury, the Teratophoneus attacks again. This time, he goes low and attacks her legs. The Lythronax feels a horrible pain in her right ankle. She looks down to see it slashed open. The Teratophoneus is still close and she fights back. The Lythronax grabs the Teratophoneus by the snout and swings around. She does a three-sixty, then lets go. The Teratophoneus is sent flying fifty yards away. He smashes into a boulder and slumps to the ground. The Lythronax bends down and grabs the still living Teratophoneus by the neck. He struggles in his jaws as her teeth slowly pierce his flesh. Both killers are so engrossed in the fight, that neither notices the ground shaking. The female Lythronax finally clamps down at full force, breaking the neck of the Teratophoneus. She drops his dead body and roars loudly. Then she tries to catch her breath. Then, with the force of a runaway freight train, ten tons of muscle smash into her. She lands on one of the ribs of the Parasaurolophus carcass and it pierces her heart and lungs. She looks up to see an immense shadow standing above her. Then, her eyes start to glaze and she dies. Rexy roars in victory and tries to decide which body to eat first.
Winner- Rexy! Ok, so it was the Lythronax ;)
Bigger, stronger, and better suited to heavy combat, Lythronax had this fight in the bag from the start. However, neigther the monstrous murderer or the gore king(queen) of the south had any chance against the tyrant lizard king/queen herself.

MemberCompsognathusNov-18-2013 9:04 PMThanks. I knew you'd expect Lythronax to win, but I wanted the ending to be a little different. I wanted a T-rex to finish the Lythronax off, but only at the last second did I decide on Rexy.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-18-2013 9:04 PMThat's fine. Nothing like having the Queen of Kings finish off the winner.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-18-2013 9:08 PMWho came up with calling her the Queen of Kings anyway? I don't like to take credit, but I think I did.

MemberCompsognathusNov-18-2013 10:18 PMI'm not sure. Oh well, great fight. I really liked the ending, but I will say, if Lythronax was headbutted by Rexy at full force, all bones would shatter and it would die instantly.

As far as the Rexy attack, I didn't want the ending to be right of the bat, so I gave the Lythronax a few dying breathes.
