Teams- What Defines Them?

MemberCompsognathusSeptember 27, 20131319 Views29 RepliesOkay, I wanted to see something about teams. I joined team Spino because I'm sure Spinosaurus would wipe the floor with Rex in a fight. However, I almost joined Rex because it makes a better JP villain, and I prefer it over Spino in the movies.
So do you join teams because you think your dinosaur would win in a fight, or because it makes a better villain in JP?

Hmmm... to be honest I joined team spino although t-rex is my favorite dino. I wanted to give to spino a chance, there are too many rex fans out there. :P

Same as what you said spyrannosaurus, Tyrannosaurus is a better villain but I think spinosaurus would win and I joined team Spino because of that

Well, I'm on team Spino just because it is been crushed by rex. Although really, I'm going to team raptor once its up, and that's because I love raptors more than any type of dinosaur.

I chose team Rex because:
1: I think it would win more ten then not
2: I think it makes the better villain
3: The king is my all time favourite dinosaur

Hey Spyrannosaurus, can we not badmouth T-rex here? I thought we all put the T-rex vs Spino debate behind us?
I chose T-rex simply because he's my favorite dinosaur.

I don`t think this is a rex vs spino debate. Just a discussion about teams ;)

Yes, but we don't need to bring up fights between the two and say one will wipe the floor with the other.

Its impossible to avoid a Spino vs Rex discussion. Just like all roads lead to Rome, all posts including Spinosaurus or T. rex leads to a fight about who would win. That is a classic saying, don't argue.

Oh, JP 3, you ruined it all.

Or brought on an age of respect for Spinosaurus. (And comepletly destroyed Giganotosaurus's reputation ):
Hi

This could all have been avoided if they simply introduced Spinosaurus in a different way. The movie was going so well, I was really enjoying it, until the fight scene. My jaw dropped, but not in a good way. That's, where it all started ;)

Same here Rex Fan, I had first heard about Spinosaurus when I was 4. Saw the fight when I was 8, and didn't watch JP 3 for a while, think I actually watched it a second time when I bought the box set on blu-Ray this June.

I knew about Spinosaurus before JPIII too. I just thought it was a large theropod with a sail and long jaws. Didn't think much of it until JPIII. I'll admit, I when I started thinking more about it, I wasn't thinking good things. I actually didn't watch JPIII much simply because Spino was in it for a while. Then, I grew to like the real animal more, but frankly, I still dislike the Hollywood version simply because, in my opinion, it was so inaccurate.

True. My brother recently saw JP 3 for the first time, and I had to explain to him that it was fake. I heard about Spinosaurus on my first visit to the school library in Kindergarden. I had been Super Mario 64 since I was 3, and my dad told be that Bowser was a dinosaur, and boom, I love dinosaurs.

Nice. I first heard about Spinosaurus while looking through a dinosaur book of mine. It said it was 15 meters(50 ft) long and weighed about 4.4 tons. A little lightweight to me know, but back then, that was enough for me. That's one reason why I didn't like the battle in JPIII. I thought Spinosaurus was long and lean and couldn't fight a T-rex, haha

That's true. I always thought that Rex was the unparalleled king of the dinosaurs, and that the fight was stupid. The first book I had read didn't get into sizes, just a quick little blurb about it.

I've always accepted that Spino won. Heck, jp3 was my favorite movie for a while there. My books say that Spino is only 45 feet long and a fish eater. Man, everyone hates Spino, except for people who love it.
