Dynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 4:16 AMyou know I've been thinking a lot about a fight between two of my favorite dinosaurs bahariasaurus (deltadromeus) family vs spinosaurus so here is hypothesis
it's the dry season and spinosaurus to venture on to land to hunt down but suddenly he picks up the scent of baby parallititan carcass he follows it until he finds it but its not a lone a family of 2 large bahriasaurus and 2 juveniles he tries to scare them off but the male bahriasaurus is no wimp measuring over 14 meters long he charges at him tring to scare him away but starving spinosaurus has to attack it slashes the female and she backs away but male is quick to bite the spinosaur's neck it holds on to it and start slashing with its claws yet the spinosaurus shakes him off just as he is about to finish the job the male rams him under the neck leaving him disorientated he is fast to spot the weakness and bites its spine the spino roars in agony but using his long jaws he grabs the male by the tail and throws him away then spino slashes the bahariasaurus's face with his long claws but the female jumps from the bushes slashing his body and biting his spine and backs off again knowing that it can stay fighting for days so it slashes off a huge chunk of the carcass and runs away but the bahriasaurus female is badly wounded and dies a few hours later
ok that was it please let me know your thoughts in the comments below

Deltadromeus
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 2:22 PMOkay, a bit hard to follow, but still pretty good.

MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 2:48 PMNot bad.
DinoFights, 14+ meters? Seems a little big, but that's just me.

Deltadromeus
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 3:17 PMMe too, I would think 13 is around as big as it gets.

MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 3:19 PMI'd put it at 10-11 meters long and 3-4 tons(12 meters long and 4.5 tons max)

Deltadromeus
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 3:23 PMSo around 33 feet and 4.5 tons, okay. I've got him 40-41 feet and 3 tons.
Hi

Dynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 3:32 PMno actually the 43.5 foot long estimate is pretty accurate as the type specimen had a 0.74 m femur another one was discovered that measured 1.22m so if estimate the size it would be between 43-44 feet

DinoFights
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 6:22 PMThere have been 3 specimens I think, counting the 13 m "Deltadromeus". And besides, he says 14 m in the fight. In real life, I say 43-44 feet.

Deltadromeus
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 6:31 PM13 meter Deltadromeus? I think it only got to 9 meters. 30 feet as the absolute maximum it could ever get to.
Hi

DinoFights
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 6:36 PMThat's why I said "Deltadromeus" in quotations. They may be synonymous, but I don't know.

Deltadromeus
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 6:40 PMI personally don't think that Bahariasaurus and Deltadromeus are the same animals. The Delta that was found seemed like an adult, and so did the Bahariasaurus, and a 15 foot size difference seems a bit crazy, so there's my reasoning.
Hi

DinoFights
MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 6:51 PMYes, but the holotyple Spinosaurus also seemed like an adult for many years. Until MSNM v4047 was found (and additional fragments), 46 feet was considered absurdly huge.
I'm not sure on my "Bahariasaurus is Deltadromeus" position I just think its strange that two predators so similar could live in the same place at the same time.

MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 7:13 PMDeltadromeus is most likely a separate species. Deltadromeus is roughly 25 ft long and 1 ton, with 30 ft and 2 tons as the max. I already gave my Bahariasaurus size estimates.

MemberCompsognathusSep-10-2013 7:39 PMI get why you estimate it at 10-11 meters, but still, that would be small. Most estimates are around 12-14 meters. I say around 13.4 meters and 5 t is reasonable for a large adult, the Devil rex of Bahariasaurus. Large, but not the maximum size.

Deltadromeus
MemberCompsognathusSep-11-2013 1:45 PMMy bets thing for Deltadromeus is 30 feet and 1.5 tons, and average is around 26 feet and 1 ton. Bahariasaurus is thicker than that at 3-3.5 tons and 42 feet long max.
