I've noticed something strange... Nearly every Tyrannosaurus rex specimen is unique in at least one anatomical feature. Such as
Sue has a femur as long as her tibia and had a small skull for her size.
Stan has long legs with huge feet but a small body
The UCMP Rex has huge feet and short legs
The "C Rex" has a big head but a small body, making it is as big as Sue
Tyrannosaurus "X" has long legs, a light build, a curved lower jaw and small nares.
The Devil Rex has a tibia much smaller than its femur, tiny eye sockets, unusually small arms, big nostrils and strangely positioned legs that are directly under its body, making it very slow.
One T-Rex specimen has evidence of Gorgosaurus-like eye crests while no others do
Peck's Rex had big teeth and a short rib cage
No other dinosaur had any major variance like this, so why do you think this is?
Environment may have played a role. T-rex lived as far north as possibly Alaska and as far south as Texas.
Perhaps differences between males and females.
That's my best guess.

I don't know. Maybe it was just a variant dinosaur. Just like how humans can vary greatly, maybe T. rex could to. It was one of the more advanced dinosaurs. If this is so, then i wonder why it doesn't apply to the other tyrannosaurs like Albertosaurus. A lot of their fossils have been found.

Albertosaurus was not as advanced as T-rex. Tyrannosaurus was the pinnacle of the tyrannosaur family, and no offence to any other giant predatory dinosaurs, the pinnacle of large theropods in general. Now, I'm not saying that's the reason, just pointing it out.

Maybe it's because there are tons of different species like with Allosaurus or Megalosaurus.
Isn't the "Devil Rex" where jack horner got his scavenger theory from? If it is then it makes sense because it does sort of seem like a scavenger: slow, bad eyes, useless arms, good smell, etc. Devil rex is possibly a scavenger.

Mutations. Perhaps inbreeding on occasion caused strange things to happen. Unlikely, but every possibility needs to be examined.
RexKiller, that's probably where he got it. But that's one reason why I hate that theory so much. He's most likely going by 1 specimen. Not the species as a whole.

The only thing solution I could think of for this is subspecies of Tyrannosaurus so if true they're are multiple types of Tyrannosaurus Rex
