I was derping around the web last night when I read something about a 11 meter Daspletosaurus. The specimen does indeed exist and has been dubbed Pete 3. I don't know why but I thought it was cool. A Daspletosaurus the size of a Tarbosaurus? How badass is that? Do you think it could beat a Tarbosaurus?

A. Tarbosaurus is 40 feet. B. Daspletosaurus was at most 30 feet. C. 11 meters is something like 32 feet. D. Where did you hear this. E. Tarbosaurus would win.

Delta is right. 11 metres is reasonable for a Das.

Jack of all trades. Master of none

Tarbosaurus is between 36 and 39 feet from known specimens. Yes, most Daspletosaurus are around 25-30 feet 11 meters is a little over 36 feet I initially heard this on carnivoraforum here and here then just googled "pete 3 Daspletosaurus" and "11 meter Daspletosaurus" and a bunch of variations of that. I do think Tarbo would win as well

11 meters is 36 ft, not 32 ft. 3 ft 3 inches equals 1 meter. Anyways, I love Daspletosaurus and I think that's pretty cool. Tarbosaurus is around 36-40 ft. If it's a 36 ft Tarbosaurus against a 36 ft Daspletosaurus, it would be close. A 40 ft Tarbosaurus would probably win just because it's bigger. Das averaged 26-33 ft long, but I don't see why it could not be 35 or 36 ft. Probably would weigh about 4.5-5 tons at 36 ft because Das is pretty robust like T-rex.

Not as robust as T. rex but close. I think Daspletosaurus is pretty cool though, nonetheless.

Yeah, it's not as robust because it's smaller, but like you said, very close. When I saw Little Das' Hunt on Dinosaur Planet, I immediately found Daspletosaurus fascinating.
