Does anyone else think that Metriacanthosurus could/should make an appearance in Jurassic Park 4? Personally I think that it should because it's name appeared in the scene were Nedry was stealing the embryos in the first movie.

Not sure how legit this picture is, but Metri appears on here too.

I know that Metriacanthosaurus isn't as catchy as Velociraptor or T-Rex, but I think it should appear at some point in the movie.
I wish I could do CGI. I would be making awesome documentaries, fights, and even a movie version of The Fight To Survive. Sadly, CGI ain't easy to learn ;)

Unfortunately not. I have thought of a cool app to have. Yu type in something, say, a Giganotosaurus walks forwards, and then an animation of a Giganotosaurus walking forwards appears. That would be a good CGI thing.

If Rex vs Metri/Yang should appear in JP 4, they would probably make Yang/Metri slightly bigger than in real life. Knowing them.
Here's the fight with a slightly bigger Yang/Metri...

I think that a T. rex wouldn't kill the yang like that. It would have grabbed it by the neck and shook it around. Its many ton bite force would easily sink his six inch teeth deep.

The way dinosaurs fought is debatable. If T-rex had the chance to grab the Yang by the face, I'm sure it would take it. But yes, the more likely way would be grabbing the neck and breaking it.

It probably would. I really want to build a time machine and go back in time. Mostly to feed my sister to a Dilophosaurus to find out if it is poisonous, but I would also go to see the Ekrixinatosaurus fight the Giganotosaurus.

That would be cool. I'd like to visit the late Cretaceous in N. America, obvious reasons, but also late Jurassic N. America. I wanna see a fight between Ceratosaurus and Allosaurus.

That would be really cool. Alright, we have to keep on commenting on this if we want it to be the most commented on post on jp4. We're currently in forth place, and we need 56 comments to go up. Who's with me?!

Oh brother. I'm running out of things to say, at least for this topic.

Then I'll give you something to think about and then say. There is a few reasons why I think yang is not Metri. One, Metri has a small frill like the one of Acrocanthosaurus. Two, they live in completly different areas. Three, they have very different sizes. Y is up to 35 feet long while Metri is around 26-30. Maybe Y shangyouensis us a Metri, but y magnus is a Yangchuanosaurus.

I don't really have an argument for the sail, but size and location, yes.
Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, and numerous other dinosaurs have different sizes and localities. Allosaurus for example ranges from less than 26 ft to 36-40 ft. Ceratosaurus can be found as small as 16 ft and as large as 23. And the same dinosaur species have been found in different places. Allosaurus fragillis in N. America, Africa, and possibly Europe and Allosaurus maximus in N. America and maybe Europe. Get what I mean?

That is entirely possible. What if both were included in the movie, thy both attack the people, and then they work togather to get the people, and then Rex steps in front of the people and they stop, and so do Metri and Yang. At that point, one of the characters (if only Malcolm was in the movie), could say "Looks we're between a rock and a hard place."* Then they run for Rex, who completely ignores then and fights Metri and Yang. Insert awesome fight here with epic T-Rex roar as rescue helicopters fly past and Jurassic Park theme blaring.
*Something funnier could be said, just a baseline.
