Carcharodontosaurus vs Paralititan
Carcharodontosaurus
This giant was over 40 ft long and 5-6 tons in weight. It was among the largest land predators ever. With it's deadly assortment of claws and teeth, it was certainly formidable.

Paralititan
This giant herbivore was one of biggest animals that ever lived in Africa. At a staggering 80 ft long and 50 tons, it was truly huge. Like so many other animals in Africa, it was a titan.

Fight-
A male carcharodontosaur is on the move. It's a hot day, so he is not in any hurry. As exits the forest, he finds a stream from which he thirstily drinks. He looks up and sees a massive Paralititan standing across from him. It's so hot, that the herbivore does not even make and effort to notice the predator. The carcharodontosaur decides to take the opportunity provided to him. He moves back into the forest and begins to outflank the unsuspecting sauropod. By the time it realizes what's happening, it's too late. The giant carnivore charges forward and slashes the herbivore's right shoulder. He steps back and waits for his opponents move. The herbivore charges forward. While not especially fast, they are close enough together that the carcharodontosaur does not have time to react. The sauropod slams his chest into the predator, sending him into the ground. The carnivore gets up, he is not seriously injured. He then performs a series of mock charges. Once the Paralititan is confused enough, he finally does charge all the way. At the last second, he steps to the right and slashes with both teeth and claws. This leaves gaping wounds int the herbivore's flank. The sauropod fights back though. He uses his tail like an over-sized baseball bat and sends the predator flying into a tree. This breaks several of his ribs and injures his shoulder. The carcharodontosaur decides it's time to end this. He charges forward. Between his massive weight and the momentum of the charge, he is able to knock the Paralititan onto it's side. The carnivore then walks over to it's head and simply steps on it. He roars at the top of his lungs, daring any predator in the surrounding area to challenge him. No predator ever did come.
Winner- Carcharodontosaurus

While the Paralititan may have been many times bigger than the carcharodontosaur, it was not as equipped for combat. The carcharodontosaur was a born fighter, and had the weapons to match.
Next time on Clash of Giants
Alamosaurus was the biggest animal in all of North America. He looked down on all the other dinosaurs. However, Alamosaurus was not the ruler of this kingdom. This was the domain of the most notorious flesh-eater of all time, Tyrannosaurus rex! When these two titans of the prehistoric world meet, the earth literally shakes beneath their feet.

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 6:02 PMGreat job, I noticed you are using my profile pic. Alamosaurus is not the largest North American dinosaur, that goes to supersaurus, but it is the largest North American late Cretaceous dinosaur.

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 6:11 PMThat's what I meant. There are actually isolated fossils of Alamosaurus that suggest it may have attained a size comparable to Paralititan and Argentinosaurus. But these are pretty isolated and incomplete. This fight was a little shorter than I wanted it to be. When you type a post, it looks pretty long, and then you see it posted and it's kinda short, haha. Oh well, glad you liked the fight.

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 6:39 PMNice. I think T-Rex will win the next one. Not just because you wouldn't let it lose hahaha. I think it'll win because it can dismantle the base of the sauropod if in a pack and then get the neck.

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 6:41 PMHave to wait and see. I added an Alamosaurus page to my site in honor of the upcoming battle. I also added Shonisaurus, but that's not as circumstantial, haha. This next fight will be the best. I promise you that much!

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 7:12 PMRex Fan, what I do is write the story somewhere else, someplace on my computer that lets me type things down, then I just copy and paste. I'm not sure where you write your stories, but at least this gives you an idea on how long it is.
Hi
Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 7:14 PMI have thought of that before. I just type them on the start a discussion page. Sometimes, I'll click post, and it will log me out. I have to go back and type it all over again! That's where typing it somewhere else would be useful. I might do that for Tyrannosaurus vs Alamosaurus.

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 7:29 PMI HATE when that happens, it sometimes that happens when I'm making a long post, I just forget it, and maybe make it again, but simpler.
Hi

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 7:32 PMThat's what I tend to do. This fight was a little longer, but it logged me out. I cut a few minor details to save time. It only happens to me with long posts. Which kinda makes sense I guess.

MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 7:40 PMHere is another idea that you could use, you type it all down in the start a discussion part, copy it all, and, if it logs you off, just paste and whalla, you have your work back. I just keep forgetting to do this though.
Hi
Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2013 7:41 PMThat's a very good idea. I'll have to remember that next time.

MemberCompsognathusJul-04-2013 12:49 AMThese predators were made to kill sauropods, this battle could not have a better ending than this. Now it's time to wait for the epic conclusion of Alamo vs T.Rex!

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJul-04-2013 8:26 AMIt is annoying when it logs you off. That's why I don't make long posts anymore (I made long posts in the plot synopsis). So if you copy and paste paste it from something else, will we have the end of the series earlier?
Jack of all trades. Master of none

MemberCompsognathusJul-04-2013 8:48 AMDo you mean that more than one thing of the series is posted, or what do you mean.
Hi

MemberCompsognathusFeb-15-2014 3:18 AMI think it would take two carchars to take down a parilititan, unless the cachar jumped on its back and bit the back of its neck. There's just something about an 8.5 ton carcharodontosaurus mowing over a 50 ton parilitian that I just don't understand.
Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.
