MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 10:55 AMDon't you guys think it would be cool if the Spino or Trex were kicked out of the danger zone by velociraptors? I think that they are more lethal bc they are small (able to hide) swift (lunge on to you quickly) and have that huge claw on their foot (shred your skin off.) This would make the movie realistically scarier because if they killed a Rex or Spino, the new top predator to watch out for would be small, fast, and lethal. Not only is it scientifically accurate, it's terrifying as well.

MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 11:43 AMI could see them having the raptors be the main threat. I don't know about them killing off Tyrannosaurus or Spinosaurus with em, but they would make for a good threat. I still say the Tyrannosaurus should make an appearance though. Perhaps, like in the first one, it shows up and takes out the raptors. But not much more than that. I don't mind Spinosaurus, but I think it had it's turn with JP 3 and, while it was not bad, I don't think it was the best decision. The raptors could certainly be the main threat in JP 4 though, but the rex needs an appearance. Maybe the Spino chases the group a bit, but not much more than that.

MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 4:47 PMWhen most people think of Dinosaur, the most common thing they think of is a big terrifying lizard or reptile that wreck havoc in it's path. The most common one is T-Rex as far as predatory dinosaurs go. Yes, keep the velociraptors as one of the main threats but T-Rex is the one that defines Jurassic Park as well as ferocious meat eating dinosaurs. Or let me just say, keep a huge carnivorous dinosaur in the film as the top main threat.

MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 6:58 PMThing is, raptor cant ever be the main antagonist, yes it would be cool, but we cant honestly do a lot with raptors, they stalk/hunt there prey...
We will probably see a big Dino as the main antagonist, granted raptor will return... as his/hers normal side antagonist position...

MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 7:02 PMCan you imagine a T-rex Raptor hybrid? The immense size and strength of Tyrannosaurus, and the speed and intelligence of Velociraptor. That would be unstoppable! I don't mean little 10 foot Raptorex. I mean a 45 foot long predator, haha

MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 8:39 PMHow about Utahraptor, it was pretty big, and it could get bigger (for real, not jp velociraptor bigger). A good pack of five or six could kill T. rex ( probably).

MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 8:42 PMMost scientists think Utahraptor was solitary. Besides, it would be hard for them to do another dromaeosaur of any sort since they did the over-sized Velociraptors.

MemberCompsognathusJun-13-2013 8:46 PMWe don't have proof either way, besides, it lived in a time of the occasional sauropod, I bet they would band together to take one down.

MemberCompsognathusJun-19-2013 8:49 PMWhat about gigantoraptor? It is big and could chomp smaller prey (like humans) with its beak.
