Today, the final battle of rex vs spino, shall be decided... ROYALE style... *very special thanks to dinofights for writing the fight/preparing it, and all who contributed* Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus Height: 21 feet at top of head, 24 feet at top of sail Length: 59 feet Weight: 12 tons Weapons: Menacing look, bite, claws Speed: 20 mph Diet: Fish, crocodiles, various aquatic animals, smaller dinosaurs, pterosaurs Description: The largest carnivorous dinosaur known to have ever existed, Spinosaurus certainly wasn't as weak as some are led to believe. In absolute terms, it had a bone crushing bite force topping any animal today, with the largest individuals estimated at 5.5 tons of pressure. While less than that of some other dinosaurs, it was strong enough to push Spinosaurus' conical teeth through the thick bony scutes of its aquatic prey(which it likely also had, akin to a crocodile) and kill smaller dinosaurs like Ouranosaurus and young Paralititan. Spinosaurus' sail would have intimidated any creature that dared try to interfere with its business, including the largest crocodilian known, Sarcosuchus(43 feet, 15 tons), and the other gigantic theropod that it lived alongside it, Carcharodontosaurus(45 feet long, 8.5 tons), both of which it may have competed with. Armed with long, powerful three clawed arms, an intimidating sail and sheer size, it was one of the baddest creatures ever to live. Tyrannosaurus Rex Height: 16 feet Length: 46 feet Weight: 10 tons Weapons: Speed, bite Speed: 25 mph Diet: Small to medium sized herbivores, carrion Description: The mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex is without a doubt the most well known dinosaur, and with good reason. Sue, the largest and most complete T-Rex found to date, was 40-43 feet long. However, recently, there have been new bones found that put a full grown T-Rex at up to 46 feet, which also increases bite force and weight. The bite from T-Rex's jaws, armed with banana shaped and size teeth, could reach 6.5 tons, one of the strongest bites ever to have existed, passed only by prehistoric aquatic animals like Megalodon. The T-Rex's bite was made even worse by the fact that its teeth were covered in rotting flesh, making any dinosaur that survived the initial bite die of infection. It was perhaps the smartest dinosaur behind Troodon, with a highly evolved brain for a dinosaur. It also had forward facing eyes that gave it a great depth perception, accompanied by its amazing sense of smell that could be used for tracking down a dead dinosaur for a quick meal or a wounded dinosaur. FIGHT!!!! Dawn; Isla Sorna. The Spinosaurus that killed the young T-Rex years ago is now full grown. He walks along a beach, looking for something to eat. After a while, he wades into the deeper water, patiently waiting for a meal with his eyes and sail just above the water. Suddenly, something touches his foot and he dives underwater. He grabs the animal in his jaws, pulling it up with the help of his arms. It is a 27 foot Onchopristis, a hard skinned prehistoric sawfish. Spinosaurus carries it to shore, where it bites into its thick, bony skin. As it tears off chunks of its breakfast, the giant hears a noise in the forest. It is a loud crashing sound. Curious, it takes one more bite of its prey, then stalks up the beach. The noise comes from a running Shantungosaurus, which nearly runs into the Spinosaurus but turns to the side to avoid it, accidentally stumbling and crashing into the ground. The Shantungosaurus struggles to get up, but can't because it broke its front leg and several ribs under its own weight. The Spinosaurus, forgetting about the sawfish, kills the titanic hadrosaur instead. As he begins to rip off chunks of the Shantungosaurus and gulp them down, the dinosaur that was chasing it steps out of the trees. It is a large female Tyrannosaurus, not happy at having her meal stolen. She snaps her jaws at the Spinosaurus, but having been through this many times in his life, he snorts and goes back to eating, warning her to wait her turn. She tries again, this time letting out a roar. The bull Spinosaurus lifts his head, letting out a more serious warning in the form of a growl. The Tyrannosaurus roars loudly back, challenging the larger Spinosaurus. He rears up as high as he can, roaring and shifting colors on his sail as to intimidate her. She is startled at first, backing up a few steps, but soon sees through the tactic. He lowers himself back down as she approaches, preparing for combat. She runs forward, ramming him with her head, knocking him on his side and causing him to slide through the sand. She takes a couple steps forward, roaring again, while he pushes himself up. He shakes of the sand and charges with a ferocious roar, ramming his chest into hers. They clash, pushing each other as the T-Rex tries to bite his sail. Not having a long enough head and neck to reach it, she instead goes for his neck. Swinging his long neck down, he narrowly escapes a bite to the neck, moving to the left and grabbing her arm in his jaws. He turns 180 degrees, snapping her arm and slamming into her side. He knocks her over and pulls her arm, attempting to rip it off. She gains footing after frantically searching for a hold, using his pulling attempts to her advantage, just as he pulls it off. Seemingly as a taunt, he backs up a distance and swallows it in front of her. Now enraged and in pain, she runs forward at full force, knocking him over. He falls backwards, snapping three of his lower back spinal extensions. He roars in pain as she tries to bite his neck. He manages to crawl out of the way before she does so, painfully rising to his feet. He roars at her, rearing up again. She bites his left arm this time, breaking his radius as she tries to chew it off. He takes advantage, however, reaching over to the left side of her head just above her eye and raking his huge claws all the way across her head and down the right side, permanently blinding one eye. Blood runs into the other eye, rendering her completely blind for the time being. She pulls on his arm, ripping through his flesh and leaving his arm a bloody, mangled and useless mess. He retreats to the water, where she charges. She smashes her foot into a rock in the shallows, breaking a toe and tripping. He takes advantage, biting her back and pushing her underwater. She stands up, where he leads her into the deeper water. She follows the smell of blood, both bleeding profusely now, confusing her. The smell of blood attracts sharks and hungry Sarcosuchus that were sunning themselves on the rocks. As small reef sharks bite both of their legs, they retreat. The Sarcosuchus follow them out, but the huge theropods back far enough away to avoid them. Exhausted, they both lay in the sand, pouring blood. Smaller scavengers surround them, expecting them to die soon. The Spinosaurus finally pushes himself up and limps away into his cave, while the Tyrannosaurus takes back her meal. WINNER: TYRANNOSAURUS REX Not all battles have to be to the death. Sometimes a win is characterized by one side deciding it isn't worth the fight, and this time it was Spinosaurus. While a T-Rex could easily kill a Spinosaurus of equal or only slightly larger size, it would be quite a stretch to say that even the highly evolved mighty T-Rex could kill a Spinosaurus that was 13 feet longer and 2 tons heavier. However, it could win by non-fatal defeat most of the time, as demonstrated by this hypothetical fight. Spinosaurus was no pushover, but Tyrannosaurus Rex still retains its title as king by what was a hair away from being a draw. ODDS: 51-49 *editors note: Do take into consideration that spino did not die, thus we may see him return.... Once again Thank you so much DinoFights for this wonderful piece of work, follow him Your Here Its much appreciated...* Fight campaign poster is by Me... nothing i say is biased, i just explain facts and i actually look up info and find more everyday, other than the real data you guys have yet to find and find the curtacy inside yourselves that making up info isnt cool, its preety pathetic if you ask me, and yes, educated guesses are not always true, but its kinda common sense what i say about the matter.

Come on S-Rex, do you really think Spino had a good chance against a pissed off female Rex (possibly one of the most fearsome and powerful land animals of them all)? Part 2 was pretty good, and my two discussions could help for part 3 if there us one.

Well what about a pissed off female spinosaurus, huh? dont think that trex would have much of a chance then

That would be interesting. A pissed off female Rex and a pissed off female Spino *takes note for FBR 3*. Fighting over what though? A nesting sight, or maybe food for the offspring? Food for the offspring would be different because both sides know they have kids and wouldn't want to risk getting killed. You never really know how a fight could could go. Physically, Spino was larger. Mentally, T-Rex was larger. Weapons, about equal. Teeth, T-Rex. Bite force (I know), T-Rex. Arms, Spino. Agility, probably Rex (smaller, no huge sail). The list goes on and on. That's just some facts.

Indeed...

However, This isn't the first FBR, This is the First of the series, But not the True first, That one is lost to time...

But, Man, do people never change (I remember the first true FBR) There was around 300 comments on it?

I would remember a post if it had 300 plus posts too. Maybe I wasn't signed up at that point which is why I don't remember.

Just looking at this one, I think my Rex vs. Spino rematch might rival this one in quality. Anyone who seconds that?

Oh wow...

No one ever responded to your thing...

Looking back on the comment Now, It seemed Rather Arrogant... Almost as if you were trying to prove something... In a rude manner...

Times and people change I suppose...

Sorry if I sounded like an ass there, I didn't mean to. What I was saying was that my rematch fight, one of my best fights, might rival an early fight written by DinoFights. Once again, sorry, didn't mean to sound like an ass.

Yeah, they were early. Also, we have changed a bit. I guess we're comfortable with everyone now, so why should we try to get on everyone's good side, we're already there. So long as we don't piss each other off.
