Pachycephalosaurus

Height: 8 feet
Length: 15 feet
Weight: 4,000 lbs
Weapons: Thick skull for headbutting
Speed: Short bursts of speed up to 40 mph
Diet: Plants of all kinds
Description: This is the heaviest dinosaur on the list so far. The Pachycephalosaurus is well known as "the headbutting dinosaur" due to its thick skull, which could have been used to ram predators or rivals. The thick skull along with short bursts of high speed could make a huge potentially bone crushing impact.
Velociraptor

Height: 2.5 feet
Length: 6 feet
Weight: 35 lbs
Weapons: Bite, intelligence, sickle shaped claws, speed, pack hunting
Speed: 45 mph
Diet: Small to medium sized herbivores
Description: About the size of a turkey, the Velociraptor wasn't very scary looking at first glance. However, when you see a pack of them running at you full speed, ready to kill you with their claws, you may change your mind. Although not as large as Deinonychus, Utahraptor, Austroraptor or Achillobator, it was every bit as vicious and deadly.
Fight!
It's mating season for Pachycephalosaurus on Isla Nublar, and competition for a mate is fierce. Males all over the island headbutt each other for mating rights. One specific pair prepare to battle on the sunny beach. Circling each other and snorting, they both wait for the other to make the first move. The older male, being more experienced, mock charges at the younger male but follows up with a real charge, knocking him off his feet. Waiting for the young male to get up, he backs away and lowers his head in anticipation. As the young male stands up, the older male sniffs the air and notices something out of place. Before he can do anything, a pack of four Velociraptors run out of the bushes and attack him. The younger male, despite being in competition with him, helps. He rams into one of the Velociraptors on the older Pachycephalosaurus' back, breaking its back and instantly killing it. One of the others, the striped male, jumps on him. Kicking the Pachy's back with his long claws, he tries to get a better hold by sinking his teeth into the back of his neck. The Pachycephalosaurus, being as smart as a fern, has no idea how to get it off. Fortunately, he trips and falls on his back, killing the raptor in the process. The older male, though, will not be so lucky. Having been fatally wounded, he bleeds out as the raptors jump back, awaiting his death. The younger male is now their target. They chase him towards the water, where he stumbles again. While pushing himself back up, he is attacked by the two remaining raptors. Drowning and being attacked by the ravenous raptors, he appears to be out of luck. As the raptors prepare to sink their claws into the Pachycephalosaurus' throat, a wave crashes down on them, pushing them off. The lucky young male runs for the trees, trying to escape. The raptors give chase, catching him at the tree line. This time, he doesn't escape. As the remaining Velociraptors enjoy their meal, hungry pterosaurs circle overhead, waiting their turn.
WINNER: VELOCIRAPTOR, 2 REMAINING
If there had been another Pachycephalosaurus, perhaps the results would have been different. Though the Pachycephalosaurus had a powerful headbutt, it was their only weapon. It did no good against a hungry raptor on their back.

MemberCompsognathusMay-21-2013 8:38 PMpretty good, your work as always is quite outstanding.
However i think you should calculate the jp raptors into the fight more so *note they've got the same as uh utah raptor i think, or dienoticous... i dont remember SS said velociraptor was scarier*
Also i think you should work on some side series to this IE: Chaos effect dinofight, Terra nova dinofight, and a bunch more i cant think names up for...
math is hard...
Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

MemberCompsognathusMay-21-2013 9:26 PMHmmmm.... Interesting. I would've prefered the younger male to get away - that made me sad. I would think after bringing down the larger, older Pachy, the raptors would've broken off the attack to relish in their kill before giving chase to the younger male. Give little Pachy a chance! He could've gone off and mated, his competition having been removed, ensuring continuation for the next generation of Pachy's. Oh well, that's just me. Nice fight!

MemberCompsognathusMay-21-2013 11:07 PMI actually considered letting him get away, but I thought it would be too similar to the Achillobator vs Deinonychus fight. I was even closer to including it as an alternate ending. My apologies if it saddens you in any way.
