I mean compared to Jurassic Park, the cgi dinosaurs in this film don't live up to par with Jurassic Park. Anyway, enough of that, this film has some pretty cool found footage style, and the way this movie is set is in Africa.

So after watching this film I just have to say, Jurassic Park should take a few ideas from this. The way the film is set up is with a group of documentarians and cryptologists are trying to find the famous lochness monster but instead, get attacked by Pterenodons and crashland in the deepest part of Africa, where coincidently, dinosaurs have survived!
So I had an idea, what if Jurassic Park was a sort of found footage style, I know it might sound ridiculous, but it could work. It could have a group of friends parasailing on one of the islands of Costa Rica, but when one of the group members notices weird flying reptiles, (Pterenodons), they get attacked and the wind turbulence from the Pterenodons made them crashland. The group wakes up and they must now survive on a mysterious Isla Nublar. They eventually find out that someone else has been here before, as they see the famous Jurassic Park gate covered in grass and moss. They eventually must try to stay alive in a jungle infested island filled with dinosaurs! We also find out that someone is watching them as we see a mysterious man unleashing dinosaurs that try to terrorize the group. They eventually find out he is the 'protector' of the island. He has stopped the Costa Rican government from bombing the island by buying it off of them and he pleaded to protect the island ever since. And any trespassers who enter will be killed. The group must not only survive, but they must find this man before he kills them.
Here's a hint, his headquarters is in the visitor centre. :)
What do you guys think. Could a Point of View documentary style of filming work? Or no?

MemberCompsognathusMay-11-2013 10:15 PMWell I remember everyone saying jurassic park is not a ****ing documentary how ever yo do point out a good point the last discussion on this was that they were judgin the film like a documentary, what if we were seeing jurassic park 4 as a documentary that goes horribly wrong
But the idea you propose reminds me a bit of the jurassic park dangerous games series minus the documentary part ( I suggest you read JPDG it's really good I had the PDF of it it was awesome)
Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way
