MemberCompsognathusMay-09-2013 9:39 AMI have a family member that works for NBC in LA and if you didn't already know the same company that owns NBC owns Universal studios. She handles a Disney advertising account but one of her friends handles some Universal stuff and was talking about jurassic park 4. Apparantly he said that they might be shooting in Costa Rica! This would be really cool since all of these movies are supposed to take place in Costa Rica anyways. I thought this was pretty exciting so thought I would share:)

Well obviously the filming date will be pushed back but if you want to reserve public property and get all your sets out to an island location you have to be prepared ahead of time.
The triceratops from jurassic park took 3 months to ship to Hawaii in pieces so you have to be prepared ahead so you can make your shooting schedule, plus if you get delayed the studio still has to pay the people that get stuck waiting so it makes the studio really unhappy

MemberCompsognathusMay-09-2013 10:54 PMwhy would they shoot in costa rica???? they never shoot there even in the bar we meet Dennis in in the first movie wasn't shot in costa rica (it was shot down in mexico) they never shot there before either... very unusual...
