Early Mutadon designs drew heavy inspiration from Gareth Edwards' Godzilla MUTO!

Some early designs for the Mutadons in Jurassic World Rebirth drew heavy inspiration from Gareth Edwards' other high profile monster epic – Godzilla! Legendary creature artist Matt Allsopp (who also worked on the Monsterverse) created this early version of the Mutadon which very closely reassembled the MUTOs from Godzilla (2014) – likely just a homage to Gareth Edwards and his first foray into the Hollywood big leagues. Even the names of the two movie monsters are closely related:

Jurassic World Rebirth did extremely well during its theatrical run, earning Universal Pictures over $860 million at the global box office! The film reportedly cost $180 million.
