Nice. I'm not surprised you included a chapter all about weapons, haha
This animal has actually been known for a decade, but hasn't been described until now. They actually have a replica of the skeleton at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, PA. I've personally seen it. It is a chicken from hell, haha
It was actually dubbed Titanovenator kenyanis here ;)
"Titanovenator" was 11-12 meters long and probably weighed 5-6 tons, a bit bigger than Ekrixinatosaurus. It was found in late Cretaceous rock in Kenya. Based on it's size and lack of competition, it was probably the top predator.
My favorite abelisaur is Tarascosaurus.
Thanks for the feedback. Textures and sounds weren't really worked on, as we focused on animations and programming. Maybe you won't believe, but just this simple stuff requires a lot of work.
However, this is a very solid base. From now on, things will go faster, as we halready have a basic AI and building placing.
Great thread.
Hey, T-Rex White, try uploading your images to Imgur, the ones you linked have a faulty URL.
Âbelisaurids sure are interesting. Such impressive beasts, they are also one of my facorite theropod clades. I've heard about that african Abelisaurid, I think it's been dubbed Kenyavenator on this forum, but hasn't recieved an official name. There isn't too much known about it other than it lived in Africa and was comparable to Ekrixinatosaurus in size.
I totally forgot about Oviraptor 0_0 Thanks for the in depth explanation anyway. I don't think that Anzu would've been an egg eater, because it lacks the thorn thingamadohicker at the front of the beak to crack open egg shells, but otherwise it makes a lot of sense. Thanks again.
it would fit like oviraptor over in mongolia,
The velociraptors, Alioramus, and other dromaeosaurs would take down the hadrosaurs,
While zhuchengtyrannus and Tarbosaurus would take down anything they wished.
Oviraptor was most likely an omnivore, eating grasses, berries, insects, small reptiles, eggs, and even small dinosaurs when it got the chance.
Being a descendant, Anzu Wyeli would most likely fill that same ecological niche.
Great chapter. That room would be like heaven to me.
This is very interesting. Seems pretty wierd, you have the Dromaeosaurs and Nanotyrannus that can bring down the Hadrosaurs and you have the Tyrannosaurus that hunted pretty much everything. The Anzu doesn't really fit, I wonder if we'll find out more about it's place in that ecosystem.
i read it just now, didn't see it in the topics! i was rooting for tarascosaurus...but i'm glad it didn't die :) there's a lot of good stuff bein posted lately too...keep these up.
around 66 million years ago, so it lived with the baddest of the bad!
Good chapter. I don't know a lot about guns, but I'm going to guess that the Barrett M82A1 is a fairly good sniper.
It's okay. I'm not really dissapointed, after all, with all the battle series going on it's obvious that almost nobody can read every single one.
Interesting indeed. Do you happen to know when it lived?
A fight that has been up a whole day and no comments? That must be a little disappointing. Sorry I didn't comment yesterday, I was busy for the most part.
Good fight, I was expecting Sauro to win, and it's nice that the Taracosaurus survived.
lel
you remind me of this picture

this is the congo elephant killer, emela ntouka (handmade by the pygmies), said to be the most terrifying creature in the forbidden swamp because of it's nasty temprament
any idea what kind of creature that is?
edit : done :D
If you move the mouse, The rex follows it...
Nice little tidbit of programming...
Great chapter! I was wondering if you could help me. I've been trying to upload my fan fiction but it wont let me it signs me out and I loose all my writing. Ive been using my iPhone and iPad but it won't work. Do I need to use a computer or what?
WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!! They got to be real please be real!
That was awesome! I love the animations!
It is very possible. Like Paden said we have a lot of earth explore still, they could still be around.
Interesting. They actually called it the "Chicken from Hell".
Neat. I find it interesting just how many species, live in one reigion, Seeing how we originally thought maybe, 6-9 species in a certain area... Now, Blown that out of the water, LOOONG LONG AGO...
Thanks for the update !
(The grammar...)
I wouldn't consider myself on expert on cryptids, But I know my ropes.
Lets look at this, From an educated P.O.V. We have only truly explored and mapped 30% Of this earth. Theres 10% Of wild jungles where cryptids could live that we have yet to explore/map, And then theres the 60% of water.
We havent even scratched the surface of understanding how dinosaurs work, or if they survived, or anything really...
Think on this if you don't believe me...
How much do we really know about our earth, About the life before us, about the species that flourish on this earth... You'll find that most everything we know, is scientific theory...
Most everything about Dinosaurs, Theory. About our Universe, Scientific fact, but mostly theorys...
My point is... We know nothing. When we finnally realize that we know nothing,
^ love to see that.
The most compeling, in my opinion, is the Giant ground sloth (mapinguari). South americas rainforests are little past 5% explored...who knows what's creeping around in there?
Awesome, First (mini) Game released by PK!!
My review:
AWESOME....
It has yet to gain a texture, could use more coding (Just the sole rex, walking around anywhere, you can control it though) BUT FLAT OUT AWESOME GOOD JOB PK TEAM, this is one big leap in the right direction. (Only roar one works...)
the only problem, is we have one good specimen. And i highly doubt they unearthed just a immensly huge animal. There could be sexual dimophrism, in which the male is signficantly larger then the female. Fran might have been a small individual as well.....i stick to my claims.
i honestly think that a lot of dinos are somewhat underestimated in weight, especially sauropods( they almost always look imasculated in illlustrations and stuff) and tyrannosaurs.
the only ones i am convinced of are the giant ground sloth(mapinguary) and the Ropen( a bioluminescent pterasaur thought to be in papau new guinea). if anyone is curious why, ill post more about them.
You forgot the Kasai Rex. Basically a Tyrannosaurus or Tarbosaurus/Zhuchengtyrannus.
