Trike was big indeed. It outweighed modern elephants by quite a bit.

CarnosaurDinosaurs ForumThe size of Alamosaurus sanjuanensis

i came across it, yes. The paper is what interested me more so then his numbers, though

Lehman, T.M. & Coulson, A.B. 2002. A juvenile specimen of the sauropod Alamosaurus sanjuanensis from the Upper Cretaceous of Big Bend National Park, Texas. Journal of Paleontology 76(1): 156-172.

Alamosaurus was most likely argentinosaurus' size, if not smaller. I think Argentinosaurus represents close to the size limit for a terrestrial creature

Did you use this during your research? Looks similar.

I certainly think Alamosaurus could be bigger than the usual 15-18 meter, 15-30 ton estimates you see out there. Perhaps as big as 24 meters and 50 tons, maybe even bigger...

I can agree with those estimates. I always found those 110 foot long and 100 ton estimates, blown out of proportions.

I was mostly using Allosaurus/Epanterias Amplexus as well as the larger Allosaurus Fragilis specimens.

Awesome fight, I was routing for Giganotosaurus and Mapusaurus though because I love giant pack hunters.

I agree with thi for the most part.

About Allosaurus though...

Which specie are you using? A. Fragilis is around the 7-8 meter mark, not really top 20 material..however, if you're using A. amplexus( Epanterias amplexus) that seems to be correct.

Good job once again, and welcome to the forums!

Jurassic world set sounds

Not sure if this is legit, but I might have found some set sounds from Jurassic World, it sounds like a Velociraptor outbreak.

You will also hear some golf/tennis sounds before the attack, the set sounds start at around the half of the video.

I totally agree with you rex fan, wikipedia is a good place to start but there are so many other better and more credible articles and papers written by more credible people who have actually done their own research.

Rex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTop Ten Biggest Non Sauropod Dinosaurs

Of course. We must all draw our own conclusions and I appreciate you keeping it in mind. I don't like it when people just go by what Wikipedia says or something.

Thanks for the article Rex Fan i'll have to take that into account but for now i'll stick with myeestimates but I see where your coming from.

BTW, not trying to influence you Alejandro. Just letting you know where those estimates came from :)

Actually, many estimates for Ekrixinatosaurus put it's length at about 10-11 meters. Also, for the T.rex weight, here's a link to an article about it...

Good list, however I think that your ekrixinatosaurus length estimate and trex weight estimate are slightly high but thats just me otherwise great job.

Hiphopananomus, If you have to rent the books thats okay but I suggest you buy them at barnes and noble there pretty cheap now only about 8-15 dollars depending on the store and whether you want hard cover or paperback. The original is still one of my favorite books of all time and The Lost World is so much different than the movie but different in a better way.

Hey Rex Fan just checked your site and it's very good I actually like how you didnt get too specific with the dinosur famlies because Ive always been more interested with the basic famlies as it gets slightly more controversial as the you narrow down the families.

Everyone has different opinions on everything, and I think your Mapusaurus estimate is a tad high, but that's me.

As stated before, just send anyone here a PM if you need help.

Hey guys thanks for the positive reviews.

Allotitan, you raise a good point about Epanterias I always kind of see Epanterias as Allosaurus and for that reason I would put him at about the same position.

And Rex Fan, I did appreciate your top 4 imput and I do agree with you about how it is tough to determine the length of the many theropods around and below the 11-12 meter range. I just gave estimates based on results that I have found by research and my own calculations.
