Hard to say if Daspletosaurus encountered therizinosaurs. Nothronychus was present at one point. Whether or not it's range overlapped with that of Daspletosaurus at all(or another therizinosaur of some sort) is hard to say.
Yeah, it had to results. I'm not saying Das couldn't win but, IMO it would only win 35% of the time. a Daspletosaurus mght not even know what Therzinosauurs is, as it doesn't appear to have any large Therosinosaurs in its environment but,Therzinosaurus has two Tyrannosaurus both bigger then Das.
Did you read the fight? I gave a link on the first page.
There have been 11 foot therizionosaurus arms found. A Daspletosaurus has to within 4 or so feet to get in a attack.
That means it's slower. The Therizinosaurus can't exactly do a lot of damage if the Daspletosaurus is never within striking distance.
I think DinoFight's depiction gives a good idea of what might happen.
I those claws can easily cause serious to a das with a good hit. And the Therizinos doesn't actualy have to kill the Das, it just has to ward it off, which good hit to the head of neck will do.
Oh, also nobody's mentioned that Therizino is twice as heavy as das.
they will do damage.
just the das will fish off the theirio before it suffers any major damage.
It's actually been suggested that Raptors used their claws to stab, not slash. Besides, their not nearly as long as those of Therizinosaurus and they're a lot more curved.
Raptor claws are thin... We still view them as weapons of mass destruction.
There claws are not truly ment for fighting.
clWs like saurophaganax or spinosaurs are ment for fighting.
I just love how excited everyone is about this, thansk again everyone!!!
Think Therinzosaurus could do some damage with these claws. They do look very large and could probably distract a lot in any frontal attack. But Daspletosaurus might get scratched up some, maybe even a severe injury to the face here. But if he got a neck bite in, it would be game over.
spinosaurus would win, t-rex due to current estimates weighs 5-7 tons, spinosaurus weighed 8-9 tons plus spinosaurs has experiance fighting other super predators (carcharodontosaurus) which is a dinosaur that is as big if not bigger than t-rex and spinosaurus has arms

DinoFights did a fight between these two dinosaurs before...

60-40 in favor of Daspletosaurus. I don't think those claws were nearly as dangerous as they're often shown to be.
I agree with the whole list :)
Thanks guys. I knew Kronosaurus was the fan favorite, so I was curious to see how the reaction would be, haha
i agree with this result
Allosaurs were thriving from the early-mid jurrassic all the way to the late Cretaceous.
interesting list. In my opinoin, Dromeasaurs and allosaurs should be switched
An old tv series, from the time BB whas young
What are those?!?
Ill tell you ho whas the most succesfoul dino familly, the sinclares

:)
I agree with everything you said.
I already sent mine. I'll give you guys a hint: it's a carnivore. ;)
Nice fight! I was rooting for Kronosaurus, but I can see how the whale won. I'll be rooting for Cretoxyrhina in the next fight.
I got mine. And Cinder should team up with Titan, my rider. ;)
Great fight but I was rooting for Kronosaurus. rooting Cretoxyrhina next fight
Wow. Therizenosaurs is bigger then I expected.... Though it could rear up and bite down on the neck. 60-40 so das stills wins but it won't be easy.
But in a full out face to face, tooth to claw fight to the death. Tarbosaurs(the predator) would win against therizeniosUrus(the prey). But theiro would inflict some nasty wounds on tarbo and daspletosaurus.
TK - you're thinking of Tarbosaurus/therizinosaurus being a predator prey relationship.
Anyways, this one was broght p in my paleoecology; guess who brought it up?
This guy!
Moving on, Daspletosaurus reaching the neck is going to require a whole lot of effort;

Nice! Was rooting for Krono but, still Greta. Rooting for Cretoxyrhina next time.
