Alot of scientists and the really fanatical fans are starting an uproar on the internet because of the "dinosaur thumbs," that D-Rex has in the trailer (the part when she is chasing Owen). The way I see it is "It's a freak of nature can you really be surprised that has more than one biological oddity."

In the restricted section maybe it might show up, technically there is no reason y i couldnt unless of course bigger predators have picked it off and killed it. but yh a cameo would be class. I dont think its in the brochure is it?

i think its her! i dont see why not. It is a fantistic CG model. u can tell its not animatronic by the pose and that its the full animal. I think we will get both. Collin Trevorrow knows what he is doing, and he is such a huge fan like us that he is making it for us!! he wont dissapoint!

The rex looks very similar to the first film with colouration and the scars, it would make sense if it was the raptor attack which their from.

The border fence looks really exciting. The concpt i have in my head is that it could be the old park ruins behind the fence. with the OLD dinosaurs still roaming in the wild. (like the poster)

Now that being said. It could also be where the Drex and raptor enclosures are!

now if the Drex enclosure is behind the fence an it goes looking for food, where is it going to go?? MAIN STREET :D That is where OWEN ( Chris Pratt) and his raptors come into things.

Now im 100% behind the raptor being trained enough to not kill him, with a plausible explaination. It looks f'ing awesome. I want a bike and a pack of raptors with me!!! If the raptors are trained enough to respond to ''ATTACK'' and ''BACK OFF'' or in the trailers case ''Stand down!" i cant see why ppl have a problem.

Lions and tigers are trained in sancturies everyday, you can go thailand and see that tomorrow! they can still kill you instantly! they just get giving a drug that calms them to a drousy state, as well as being risen from birth by humans. Now having PRATT'S character being the only raptor specialist and by the looks of it a habitant of the island it will make his character the most imporant. and very POWERFULL.

When the DREX breaks out of its enclosure that is when pratt and the raptors he has trained will go into the restricted section i believe. It could even be the other way round. Pratt could be in it and hunting D REX before it gets to the fence.

Either way i think the Drex is on its way to Main street to eat and pratt and the raptors are going to kick ass. its going to be the best action scene in movie history and i cant bloody wait.

Hopefully we might even get Rexy to be the triumphant hero and finish it off!!! that would well and truly make me cry with joy and everyone will be happy

i think its actually really hard to say. I would like it to have a role more than what we saw but unless its as EPIC as what SUPER FALCON just said i cant see much more happening.

Possibly we could have a Jaws like scene where a diver has to go down to the lagoon depths. similar to that of the GAME. But you never know.

I was glad to be right about this for once i knew thr countdown was for something other than a trailer but a full on website. But I did sign up in raptor pass because you get to know stuff before it happens. So Cool

It says the Rex weighs 8000kg. Correct me if I'm wrong, but one kg is equal to 2.2 or so pounds. Let's just call a kg 2 pounds here, to be safe. At 8000kg, that's 16 000 pounds. That's around 8 tons. That's a good size animal. 

Also, that Rex is flippin' awesome.

For the record though, I love Dinosaur.

I think it will kill the human antagonist, like the dilophosaur and Nedry n the first JP, while the Tyrannosaur takes out the primary/dinosaurian antagonist, the D-Rex (also reminiscent of the first JP "Raptor vs Rex" scene). Just my thoughts. :)

@Reximillion, Nothing happened. That is somene's opinion and I already told them off for it being insensitive. Seriously, ENOUGH. I'm a Rex fan too. I'm not freaking out.

Also, didn't they say in the brochure that the Rex was a male? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Hello, I took the quiz and got suchomimus. It was a nice surprise as the creature has recently ascended to the top of my five most favorite theropods.

As impressed as I am, I couldn't help but notice an error: they said the first T-rex found was named Sue.

The mosasaur is already such a badass.

I love its rough skin. Even if it's a small role, I like the seaworld setting. I can't wait to see the full body shot under water. So Pretty! :heart:

I'm pretty sure D-Rex has four fingers. From what I see it has regular fingers, one opposable thumb-like finger.

As for the picture, it's possible. Probably won't know until we see the movie or if D-Rex is revealed later on.

Well then the T-Rex in Jurassic World must be REALLY REALLY OLD considering that it lived on Isla Nublar for a long time!!! :D

I think the Mosasaurus will play a role in the movie, but only small one.  I think she was just brought in to show how Jurassic World can be more diverse by including marine reptiles as well as dinosaurs and pterosaurs.

But Silver's fantasy of Pratt, T.rex and the Mosasaur taking down D.rex would be one of the greatest scenes in the franchise!  It would rank with the kitchen scene, Rexy chasing the jeep, the Buck searching San Diego desperately for his son, the Spino-Rex battle, and the raptor-egg climax.

Why must this excitement make my heart palpatate?!!  I want this movie out NOW!!!

My problem with the design is that she looks too much like a Giganotosaurus with mini-Spinosaurus arms.  I really think D.rex will look a bit more like a mutant.  But it's a cool design nonetheless!

That is the official look. And the one from JP was that color, just look at the final battle scene. Definitely not green. The one in JP3 was green, but that was on Site B, Nublar is Site A.

Paying homage? I wouldn't be surprised if the people working on Jurassic World haven't even heard of that Disney movie.

These aren't uncommon shots. I've seen the "alarming substance falls onto unsuspecting person's body causing them to look up and die" trope countless times.

I highly doubt that is Rexy.  Not for the obvious reasons of her being too old and/or frail.  But look at her physique.  She looks too thin to be her.  Rexy (from what I remember in the clips of JP that I watch all the time), is stockier and bigger than this female.

And yet, her scars are so similar to the wounds that Big One inflicted on her moments before she was killed.  But maybe that's just some nostalgia thrown in the image just for us.

I'm not sure about this.  She doesn't have that same blue-silver hide that was shown in the Lego shot or from the limited clip of her chasing Chris Pratt in the trailer.  Mind you, she could change the colour of her hide to anything she wants, because of the cuttlefish DNA. 

And yet...I see the raptor and T.rex in her.  The quills and her thin skull, her strong hindlimbs, the sturdy chest, and the long tail.  And she does look quite terrifying.  If this really is Diabolus Rex, then I will not be disappointed.

Is this the official first look of the Jurassic World T-Rex because there was another one that looked green???

Its not taking, its paying homage, and I would really love to know which scene in JP had the behind foot thing. 

you do realise that jurassic park did the behind the foot thing first right? remember the velociraptor in the kitchen when it rushes lex's mirror image, if anything "Dinosaur" is the one takeing stuff from jurassic park.
