True, but the Rex showed more by taking on multiple dinos. Indo Rap. only faced one dino. Also I do have to say I get the purpose of Blue but it's kind of boring and even a bit ballsy.

are you kidding, The I rex was getting by a really old T. rex and Veliociraptor. Blue could barely handle Indoraptor in JWFK.
Well design-wise I see where you're coming from. But for starters the Indo Rex was harder to kill and that was stressful in a moviegoer sense of way.
The Indoraptor simply fell on some sharp bones and died....

After the disappointment of Fallen Kingdom, my honest opinion is that the franchise should not continue. But spinoffs would be a better bet if Universal wants to continue with Jurassic Park/World
Giganotosaurus + Carcharodontosaurus + Therizinosaurus. The first two just because they're my favourite therapods, and Therizino for its arms.
I would create an hybrid with an allosaurus base, stegosaurus spikes on the tail, with octopus tentacles on its mouth. The arms of a theriznosaurus, and teeth and bite force of the T. rex. It would have a long neck like a gallimimus
A semi aquatic Triceratops hybrid covered with Ankylosaur armor and a Spinosaurus sail on it's back.
