I love that movie....
Seems Cool! ![]()
These are cool. I hate the symbol on their legs though.
can anyone tell me how strong dimorphodons bite is?
I might get that Stegoceratops. I kind of like it. I want a I-Rex toy photo. Where did you find the description for it?
I know the curse returns, but owell these are cool (aside from the dino damage)
SOOOOOOO PUMPED!
:D
I really hate that Hasbro kept the dino damage thing stuck into the paintjob. -___-
Still, I might by the Dimorphodon and large Tyrannosaurus! Thanks for sharing these! :)
I'm glad to hear it because the whole idea annoyed the heck out of me.
Spinofan, you're waayyyy late on that subject matter. that(By 'that' i mean horner's theory) was debunked quite a while ago
Not really.
diplodocus was 80 to 100 feet long and 11 to 16 tons. Spinosaurus was 55 yo 60 feetvlong and 9 to 10 tons.
This promises to be interesting, although Spino does appear to be a clear winner in its bracket.
I simply cannot accept the suggestion that T. rex was primarily a scavenger for the simple fact that a creature of this size would require a great deal of food neccessitating the instinct to hunt. In addition, I don't see a scavenger having such highly developed senses if its primary function was to wander around in hopes of finding food. This would be especially true of mothers or even fathers caring for their young.
They could have it to do with survivors of the Jurassic World breakout. Survivors that didn't escape and have now lived on the island for sevaral years. They could find a radio and now, having a chance to escape, they contact the mainland, who then in turn send a rescue team to find them. This may be a lot like JPIII, but it could work.
animals don't fight with intelligience anyway. hey fight via instinct
Yes, crocodiles are smart, in the sense that they know how to catch food, kill it, and eat it. compared to many animals however, a crocodile isn't special. I also didn't mean to imply that theropods are dumb, no. Theropods were likely intelligent enough animals. What I was saying is that in a fight between two large carnivores whose intelligence is virtually on par, it doesn' play a factor.
So t.rex wins because it is bulkier.
and I say many theropods were somewhat smart.
and crocodiles are pretty smart.
Assuming they're both fully grown, I say the odds are slightly in T. rex's favor.
Size:
Carchar may be slightly longer and taller, but T. rex likely was heavier. Rex's weight would've been more useful in a fight unless it fell over, so I'm giving him the edge. Winner: T. rex
Weaponry:
Carchar has the arms, though I must question if their range of motion would've inhibited their usefullness. For bites, they both have their pros. Carchar's bite will bleed, but T. rex's bite will crush. In a fight, the crushing bite will usually win. If Carchar's arms did have a decent range of motion however, carchar wins here. Winner: indeterminate.
Intelligence:
While many people here disagree with me on this, I say they're virtually even. T. rex did have the bigger brain, but much of it was for keeping track of, and interpretting, the senses of such a large animal. what was for thinking, was nearly on par with a Crocodile. These are in no way intelligent creatures. Winner: Draw
Defenses:
Simply by looking at the skeletons we can know that T. rex was most certainly the sturdier animal. Case closed. Winner: T. rex
Having taken all of this into account, I say about 40 Rex, 30 draw, 30 Carchar.
A fight between these two would be a very impressive sight to behold, with both animals dealing massive amounts of damage to eachother. As soon as the rex gets a good bite in though, it is all over for Carchar. If carchar can get a few decent bites in however, the rex could very well bleed to death.
Hi I Rex, I hope Chris change it soon-
and .. is me or it looks like a raptor which is worried or in a state of very deep thoughts.
But the info says : you can pet them! ¬¬ (guys who would please pleaseee push to Noah to post an image and link in the propper way OR to reply to the staff the PMwe already sent to him. so we dont need to close all his future threads??? thannnkkks!!! )
I agree with @AlphaDino65.
Hm. If I created a JW sequel, it'd be trying to rebuild the park (like in the JP novel Hammond wanted the park fixed after the Rex breakout). Still, no more hybrids, because one disaster after the I. rex was enough.
Well, this was unexpected. It was still funny.
Looking forward to this.
I think this is fake due to the original pic not having the triceratops there. And that there is an exact same pic of her on the website.
Wonderful.
Good start to what could be a great series.
Nice. Looking forward to the rest.
Ha, he wants to be Indiana jones.
I share the same thoughts JYNX, however I'm confident universal will want as much as they can get from this franchise, as do I as an avid fan, hopefully they have plans laid out that will deliver new, exciting and fun movies for Jurassic Park in the future! Here's hoping!
I think it's safe to say most of us have thought about this. When Jurassic World does great at the box office and a sequel(s) is announced, what will happen? As great as the Jurassic Park world is, is doesn't exactly lend itself for sequels. You can only have a park so many times, traveling to Site B for a third time doesn't seem right. Dinosaurs make it onto the mainland? I wasn't very fond of when the Rex did that in Lost world, though maybe it was more how it was shot. Point is, as much as I'd love a new set of movies, I just can't see how they could manage to keep making them without rehashing the same exact plot. Hopefully they've thought of this in advance and already have a solid plan laid out for all their movies though.
Interseting Theory! I just checked Marsani's website and it said they began talks of aquiring InGen shortly after Hammonds death in 1997 (Year of TLW), and then they aquired InGen in 1998. In the years 2002 to 2004 Construction began on Isla Nublar for Jurassic World.
Here's the section of Marsani Website where it says that;http://www.masraniglobal.com/about/index.html
TLW and JP3 taking different places on Sorna is what I've thought since it is big and the locations are pretty different and I don't think Marsani did much with Sorna, or at least not from when they aquured InGen in 1998 to the events of JP 3 in 2001.
I've thought about this too, Since it probably will do good in the box office a sequel probably will be made. I think they should return to Sorna, and they could do something like the Lost World where they go in and try to capture the dinosaurs but that leads to chaos and so on. I hope there's no more hybrids, I'm okay with Jurassic World having one but I don't want Hybrids to become a regular series thing if more sequels are made.
That's very funny...thanks x_paden_x!
I think that the Spinosaurus was already cloned before Masrani took over. Probably just before the events of TLW. I think TLW and JP3 took place in different regions of the island, with the rex pair ruling one part and the Spino ruling the other.
Now, call me crazy, but I think that Masrani listened to Hammond's interview on CNN at the end of TLW, and left Sorna alone. He learned from Ludlow's mistake of transporting dinosaurs to highly populated areas, and decided to keep these dangerous animals isolated on an island. Less people would have been at risk that way, and that is where Hammond succeeded over Ludlow. That is one advantage of having it on an island. Sure, there's a greater distance to travel, but LA, San Diego, Montreal, and London were safe.
Yes, I know that (novel) Hammond planned to open Jurassic Park in several large cities after JP Isla Nublar got up and running, but good thing that he didn't, right?
One thing's for sure: movie magic is at work here.
