And the car was Tyrannosaurus Wrecked, let's not leave that out.
Sometimes we we need the cheesy jokes.
It has been a while SR, nice to see you too.
Yeah JPSpinoRex, I noticed. Threw me off at first because I didn't recognize the screen name.
Did anyone notice I changed my name?
Just a question who would win in a fight: Dakotaraptor or Nanotyrannus?
@Something Real: Thanks! Now there are two T. rex pairs!
ALPHADINO65 and LORD VADER - I am very pleased to see you both once more! It has been too long, my friends! :)
JPALPHAREX65 - That was an exceedingly fun scenario! I greatly enjoyed the manner in which you set the stage for your two combatants - and I am very pleased with the way in which you ended the confrontation in a draw! Hey, a lady's never displeased to have a younger fellow admire her ! Thank you so very much for taking the time to create this and share it with us! :)
@JPAlphaRex65 Buck is not a juvenile; he is a fully grown adult. If your suggesting Junior who is juvenile would be too freaking youg and small to be Rexy's mate. Also i dislike how you always assume the Tyrannosaurus isn't very smart! Among the giant theropods sans hybrid Indominus rex and future tyrannosaurid Vastasaurus, Tyrannosaurus is the smartest! Bull is the name of the toy verison of Buck, Buck is the movie verison of Bull.
"All I wanted to do is hunt the Tyrannosaur, a BUCK, a male only" Roland Tembo.
Raptor-401: ... pls...stahp... way too cheesy :) and boy its been a loooooong time since i've commented on ur posts nice to see you still active
Ok, the story seemed too short for my liking, but I'll overlook that. Same with the amount of detail, but again I'll overlook it, because you are starting out with this type of writing.
What I find very weird is why after a brutal, hanger-induced (no, I did not mispell it) fight, would Rexy suddenly accept a sub-adult male as her lifelong mate? Yes, you said that this male made a kill, and he thought that Rexy would decide to make a pair-bond with him. Does this mean your "Buck" actually knew Rexy was in the area, wanted to mate with her, and made a kill in a plan to seduce her? It was very unclear, and never mentioned before hand. Normally courting would go beyond just presenting a potential mate with food. A display would have to happen, because this male should want to have to do everything in his power to seduce her, and not show a half-effort. Besides, you also said that "Buck" is a JUVENILE! As in, not fully-grown! So why would Rexy even consider "Buck" to be a potential mate at that time? I would have left it more open, with Rexy taking him under her wing, as if she was a big sister, but "Buck" hoping that one day she would become his mate.
It's a rookie story, no big deal, but it didn't blow me away.
Nice work. Actually a pretty plausible battle situation too. Well done and I like the ending.
Rooting for the Rex pair next time around.
My favorite carnivore killed my favorite herbivore
@The Gaming T. rex. I was talking about both the JP3 Spinosaur and the real/original/pure Spinosaurus. Against Tyrannosaurus without author bias will always fail against T. rex. The Toyline is not really canonical to the movies since Roland in the movie proper calls the "bull" Buck.
@TheGamingT.rex, the buck is movie canon. Better to go by that rather than any toy canon, because they don't always stay true with the movies.
As well, the advice goes for the JP3 Spino vs I.rex battle of yours. It would be even GREATER than your T.rex one.
Yay, Tyrannotitan won!
Yay, my 3rd favorite dinosaur won!
@Xenotaris: everyone calls the male rex from TLW the Bull T. rex because that was the name of the TLW T. rex toy. Also it's the JP3 Spino vs the I. rex.
@Something Real: Thank you! The fights are goingto get more interesting as the tournament progresses.
Ah Ceratosaurus the Dr. Zoidberg and Kenny of the Dinosaur World
@The Gaming T. rex. Its the Haast's Eagle which went exctint roughly 1,000 years ago. It still quilifies as a predatory dinosaur being a bird and all.
Even without the Raptor DNA, Dr. Wu was saying that to make it more scarier they had to increase all the predatory factors which include highten intelligence so when people WMG saying its PART HUMAN! they should take a step back and think what gives carnivores an advantage over herbivores.. the answer is intelligence.
@The Gaming T. rex. I thought Buck was the adult Tyrannosaurus from The Lost World and Junior was the name of the Baby Tyrannosaurus and I personally doubt that JPIII's sub-adult T. rex which I will dub "Mr. Green" is Junior since Junior had a dark green coloration like his farther nor did it had any indication that it once had an injuried leg and the whole Word of God explaition that Mr. Green is Junior was pretty much shoehorned. Beside realistically Idominus rex will easily crush Spinosaurus because simply Indominus rex is part T. rex. The Only reason why Rexy couldn't instant kill Indominus was because she was part Rugops who is pretty much an armored theropod.
Buck is the father to Junior.
Junior is the Juvenile.
Mr. Green is the Subadult.
I would rather see Rexy vs Spinosaurus, which we all know Rexy will turn little Spino into cat food. Not to mention how Tyrannosauruses are smarter and more powerful than any spinosaurid, on land at least. Water is a different story but thats Spinosaur's element.
THE GAMING T.REX - Oh, wow! That was a fantastically designed battle! I greatly enjoyed the way in which you have presented the more feral aspects of the animals! Superb work ! I am very much looking forward to seeing what you will present in your next conflict! Thank you so very much for taking the time to create this and share it with us!
Haha, fair enough. I'd say leave Rex vs Spino alone until you're extremely confident in your writing. You'll hit that point of you keep writing, but you're not there yet.
Thanks! I think Indominus vs Spinosaurus will be the most epic. The 2 largest theropods in the series! (I also did it like that to avoid a t rex vs spino fight)
Just checked it and alright. Looking forward to all those fights.
Not gonna happen. No thick headed fanboys to feed the fire.
Thanks and I don't want an Allosaurus vs Ceratosaurus argument like the t rex vs spino
The buck is a 37 ft juvenile which means he's close to fully grown. And yes Rexy is in her prime, check my post announcing the tournament.
Nice fight and I know what you mean with Cerato always getting killed.
Yes, yes that would. Rexy in her prime in the battle? How old is the buck? Just wondering. Don't hesitate to get in depth with the description of the competitors.
If you don't mind, take a look at this fight.
Ignore the little blurb at the beginning. If you're curious though, PM me.
@Lord Vader: Well it's a male fighting a female, so that would make the fight interesting...
Nice fight. Was rooting for the Raptor Squad.
Rexy vs the buck, that'll be an interesting battle. Still follow AlphaDino's advice though. The buck may not be as powerful as the bull, but he's still a powerful creature.
Don't hesitate to add some detail. Give us a feel for the battleground. Switch from one competitor to the other before they actually meet. When you're writing, put in paragraphs to make it easier to read. What I do for a paragraph is one sequence per paragraph. Say two are shoving each other, there's one paragraph. Describe the sequence. Small details help. Small details are the difference between visualizing the battle as the original 8 bit Super Mario game and something newer like Super Mario Galaxy.
Just some advice for the writing itself. I enjoyed reading the battle still, don't worry about that.
Yay the Ceratosaurus didn't die to Allosaurus like it always does
@Chris Picard: I decided to go with 4 in the Tiger Raptor pack to make it an even match.
@AlphaDino65: the buck is the juvenile rex from JP3. The TLW rex is the bull.
The rex survived getting smashed a ton because he is built to survive painful injuries.
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Utahraptor, Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Allosaurus in no specific order
6. Epanterias
7, 8. Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus in no specific order
9. Titanovenator
10. Rugops
Everything after #5 is liable to change at any moment; 1-5 are anchored in place. If Kelmayisaurus giganticus is proven to exist, it would top the list.
...mm... Seems weird how rex survived being smashed 5 times more than Giga. Also spino is quite frail and would not have lasted 30 seconds in a war of the 4. But well written and very predictable ending.
