Wow, great job, and great shot Muldon. Sorry that you will be killed by the next alpha, you are a great guy. I loved how the velociraptor used its brain to get out.

I'm guessing this is the earliest tyrannosaur? Very advanced for a Triassic dinosaur ;)
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTerrance's Story Part 2Jul 18, 2013
Neither have I. Funny how things go off track like this. Went from a story about a T-Rex to how cute baby dinosaurs would be and The Land Before Time.

Prototyrannus
Before tyrant
20 feet long
6 feet tall
Triassic era
Carnivore
1 ton
1000 lb bite force
Long, two clawed arms
Thick teeth, not quite railroad spikes, but close
Three inch teeth
Good eyesight with forward facing eyes
Not smart for a tyrannosaur, but smarter than an Allosaur
Small karitin bumps on its skin
No feathers, even as a baby
Small family packs of the parents and offspring until large enough to take down prosauropods on its own.
Not extremely aggressive, but very territorial
Not as teritorial when with another Prototyrannus

That was awesome. One thing though, five Raptors escape, I would load a SPAS-12 to it's maximum 8 rounds, and bring at least 3 of them. Maybe I say this because I am a bit of a gun nut, but other than that, Awesome.

Very nice. Realistic. It really could have existed. If you guys ever hear about someone discovering a group of dinosaurs called the tyrannosuchids that fit my description above, then that's probably me, haha
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumYou're Own DinosaurJul 18, 2013
Pachydermasaurus titanis, the thick skinned giant, was a nocturnal giant armored pack hunting theropod dinosaur 70 feet long and 25 tons that has a very thick and heavy bony exoskeleton for deflecting the tail blows of its natural prey: Amphicoelias. They had arms similar to but longer than those of Giganotosaurus with their incredible speed as well. While slightly below the intelligence level of the distantly related Tyrannosaurus, they had a tyrannosaurian bite force with the mechanical perfection of a Torvosaurus' bite. A few small populations survived the Jurassic and lived in to the late Cretaceous, living on an isolated Pacific island and trading their size, armor, bite and power for intelligence and adaptability. They became scavenging cave dwellers and legend has it they survived the Cretaceous extinction event and still live on an undiscovered island today as deinonychus sized animals with primate level intelligence.

This is the first of many dinosaurs to Come, from me.
It is called Sernodon. It mean slicing tooth. It is a Troodon. It's name it pronounced Ser-no-don. 130 lbs, 6ft tall, 11-12 ft long. Large brain, large eyes. Small hand and toe claws. Claws ment for grasping. Pack hunter. Obtuse triangle shaped teeth. Long neck with powerful muscles for pushing it forwards and back, side to side. Teeth at a 45 degree angle in align with the jaw. The teeth point strait down, and aren't slanted inwards or outwards. The teeth always have one sharp side flesh. Strong jaw muscles. Brown sand color with a similar colored head plume in the shape of a crescent.

I actually made up my own family of dinosaurs. The first dinosaur I did was Tyrannosuchus and it was an allosaur. Then I put it with the coelurosaurs like the tyrannosaurs. I made the tyrannosuchids after that.
Tyrannosuchus- 40 ft long, 15 ft tall, 5 tons
The Tyrant Crocodile
Biggest member of the family. Competed with Acrocanthosaurus for food.

Austratyrannus- 23 ft long, 9 ft tall, 1.5 tons
The Southern Tyrant
Smallest member of the family. It was a group hunter that lived alongside dinosaurs like Aucasaurus in S. America.

Deinovenator- 35 ft long, 13 ft tall, 3.5 tons
The Terrible Hunter
Large carnivore from L. Cretaceous Africa. One of the biggest predators in the area at the time(lived after Spino and Carchar).

Yes, I suggested the first two names to DinoFights in case a new species of large theropod was discovered.
Anyways, that's right. I made a whole family! haha
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumYou're Own DinosaurJul 18, 2013
Forgot family. Probably Spirannoraptor.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumYou're Own DinosaurJul 18, 2013
A T-Rex/Spino/Velociraptor hybrid. Spino's sail and arms, T-Rex's appearance strength, and teeth, and Velociraptor's agility.
20 tons, 30 feet tall, and 70 feet long.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTheories on The Horror MouthJul 18, 2013
Of course I have. The first name I came up with that was good was Tyrannosuchus americanis, the Tyrant Crocodile of America.
It was 40 ft long, 15 ft tall, and weighed 5 tons. The biggest predator of the Early Cretaceous in N. America. Competed with Acrocanthosaurus for food. It was a member of the allosaur family.
Looked kinda like this...

I got even more in depth with it, haha. But I don't wanna go on and on about it ;)
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumTheories on The Horror MouthJul 18, 2013
I try to come up with dinosaur names. It helps when you want to make up your own dinosaur. And don't say you have never done that, because you have.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTheories on The Horror MouthJul 18, 2013
That's one thing they will never be short of. Dinosaur names, haha
Deltadromeus- Close enough, haha. Still sounds cool ;)
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumTheories on The Horror MouthJul 18, 2013
Unfortunately it will be unofficial.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTerrance's Story Part 2Jul 18, 2013
Especially baby tyrannosaurs, with there little covering of feathers and all. I bet they would have big eyes like baby crocs, gators, and birds, haha
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumTheories on The Horror MouthJul 18, 2013
Yes, you will have named a dinosaur :)
