Utahraptor with an RPG, but I already have one of those, so lets go with an Achillobator with a sub machine gun.

I do have to agree, they are underrated. I think your estimates are a bit big, like, <1 meter off, but that's still three feet.

oh, I didn't understand, Bah...

Its very possible, and probably will happen, Warner and universal aren't rivals though so maybe...

I would either have (for raptors) Utahraptor, Velociraptor, Deinonychus, (for pterosaurs) Quetzacoatlus, Ornithocheirus, Tapejara, (I don't know if you meant current bird or extinct bird so I'll do both) for extinct birds either Microraptor, Sinornthosaurus, or Terror Bird, and for modern birds either a Golden Eagle, California Condor, or Toucan.

Velociraptor, (gonna break the rules) Triceratops and Ptyerridactyl

Lord VaderDinosaurs ForumIs T. Rex Overrated?

It's name literally means "Tyrant Lizard KING," so we call it the King because that's what it translates to. IF Spinosaurus was "Spinosaurus Rex," and translated to "Spine Lizard KING," we would likely refer to Spino as "The King." Because Rex translates to King, and Tyrannosaurus has Rex at the end, we call it "The King."

Because, In terms, spinosaurus wasnt "Werid" but slightly primitive...

Much like a battleship compared to say a T rex which would be a Destroyer, More advanced in many terms, but sometimes advanced isnt always the best...

Also, Theres many more Dinos like Spino, Who have strange features...

Three answers, hmmmmmmm. Utahraptor, Dromeasaurus, Deinonychus.

x_paden_xDinosaurs ForumSpinosaurus: Evidence For A Sail, Not A Hump

Well, If its a thin hump, it would be more of a sail, would it not...

Also, If it was a hump, like a full blown not thin one, it would not have those "spines" for the sails to hold it up, it would hold itself up like a camel

However, to play the devils prada, it could use it as a stabilizer, but it would need to be thin... Or very wide...

So In conclusion, It could have a thin hump, but it wouldnt be a hump, because humps are wider. So It is most likely a sail... But could very easily be a hump, But until we have enough info for clousure its impossible to be sure...

@Rex Fan 684 Hmm, Come to think of it, I do remember, I probably forgot about it...

Once again, Its an argue of theroies all over again...

@Sinornithosaurus

I can't completey argue with that, and I now read it over, sounds like it came off rather brash, Never the less, Its not a complete science of proving it, or else we'd see feathers more often and on more speicies... The fossilization progress would take them away, granted but still, if its true we should see some more on modern day creatures...

Also, Shouldve stated this somewhere, my explanation was for the film, not real a life scenario.

Those are two good ones. Spino can be underated by some, and overated by others.

@Rex Fan

Good point, but if it was a sail, I honestly doubt it would only be skin. A bit of muscle in there seems likely.

I've seen Disney movies advertise when I go to see Dreamworks movies. I've seen 20th Centry Fox advertice at Warner movies. I don't think it really matters. Maybe a little bit, but not too much.

Wrong estimates, and could be even bizarrer dinosaurs. Agree with all said above me.

The distinction between Seismosaurus and Diplodocus is sketchy though. 50 meters is a reasonable upper estimate with 40 meters being a good average size.

PS- Sauroposeidon was likely the tallest dinosaur at about 18 meters tall.

Rex Fan 684Dinosaurs Forum(Improved) Top 10 Most Bizzare Dinosaur

I could see Amargosaurus on there, but even it's too big on your list. 15 meters and 9 tons? I don't think so. 9-10 meters and 2.5-4 tons is more likely.

Reply
Rex Fan 684Jurassic Park ForumSomething interesting...

The T-rex was listed as a sub-adult. There are no official statements saying that the Spinosaurus was an adult or a sub-adult. It's always been assumed it was a sub-adult due to it's length of 43 ft. Then again, if you're one to believe Spinosaurus didn't get much bigger than that(I personally say 50-56 ft), then maybe it was an adult. Once again, it essentially comes back to opinions and no one is right and no one is wrong.

I agree with all that was stated, and I wondered the same thing about Spino. I never noticed the "improved" part. Not very bizarre dinosaurs on here.

Kid, the Trex was not a juvenille by any means, they were both younger than adult.

A Deinonychus!!! What's better than having a big, strong, carnivorus beast that you raised since birth and can ride into battle? Nothing, I tell you, NOTHING!

No, the Tyrannosaurus was a juvenile. The Spinosaurus was a sub-adult.

I'm not going to go into sizes, but the bizarreness could have been better. For one, Deinochirus is nearly as strange or stranger than Therizinosaurus. Second, Lambeosaureus and Kentrosaurusmare pretty regular dinosaurs, even Mamechasaurus isn't to strange (or at least has others like it). I'd recogmend that you say its your list, because frankly, the list is pretty horrid, not improved.

Jurassic World is from Universal.

The Hobbit is from Warner.

Godzilla is from Warner.

Rex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumFeathered Tyrannosaurs?

Sinornithosaurus, we have proof that primitive tyrannosaurs had feathers. We don't have proof T-rex did.

PS- Don't use Wikipedia as a source. Anyone can change it. If you're gonna use it, have a few other sources that show something similar.

I take offense to this. It would be one thing for you to say it's YOUR top 10 most bizarre dinosaurs, but I'm pretty ticked off that you called it the IMPROVED top 10. Yeah, I'm not happy.

Also, I know they're your estimates, but 10 meters for T-rex? Specimens between 12-13 meters are not all that uncommon and you said in your Rex vs Kaprosuchus pos(that's a whole other discussion) that T-rex was 12 meter. Also, 7 tons for a 9 meter Lambeosaurus? Far to heavy. A hadrosaur of that length would weigh roughly 3 tons. 7 tons is the weight estimate for the suppossed 12 meter Lambeosaurus. You're estimates are also way too high for Carnotaurus(at 7 meters, 1-2 tons would be better than 5), Kentrosaurus(Kentrosaurus was 6 meters long and 2 tons at the most), and Styracosaurus(Styracosaurus was more like 5-6 meters and 1-2 tons).

As far as legit bizarrness goes, Spinosaurus would be a better choice than Baryonyx.

Alright guys to be honest I really dont care who would win the fight either way people are going to be mad about a movie that's going to be legend WAIT FOR IT Dary :)

Umm, no offense, but some of these aren\'t really that bizzare.

1: T .rex, not that weird for a dinosaur, and everyone knows about it

2: Microraptor, we already know of many, many dinosaurs with feathers.

3: Lambeosaurus, there are many other hadrosaurs with more interesting crests.

4: Kentrosaurus, not that different form other stegosaurids.

5: Baryonyx, it's pretty much the standard body plan for spinosaurids.

6: Styracosaurus, there are more interesting ceratopsians.

I would suggest:

1: Koreaceratops

2: Epidexipteryx

3: Majungasaurus

4: Yutyrannus

@x_paden_x

"Feathers would appear on Pups/hatchlings, for warmth, but would be lost in warm climates, and gained in cold enviroments Due to Nublar/sorna being in a rather warm climate, the dinosaurs didnt have them, except, for some small predators for mating reasons."

No... This has already been disproven countless times.

1: Feathers are not warmth, they're insulation. They work in cold and heat.

2: We've found feather anchor points on a fully grown Velociraptor, which lived in the Gobi desert...
