good chapter as always, the fight outcome was expected...nothing can take out terrance ;)
Sure. Holy sh!t. Glitch much? Haha, I'll have staff delete the mega double post.
Great chapter as always. Love the Rex vs Spino part, well written and nicely executed. Btw, I have been working on my own Rex vs Spino fight for a little over a month now, is it ok if I post it? I saw your Addressing a Problem post. :)
Dammit, forgot to say the bullet that's f*cking over my accuracy. Those crap round are Winchster Dynapoint GT 40 grain hollowpoints.
I just went full retard.
But still, the first movie had a bigger fan base than the second movie as well. So my argument is still valid.
UCMP, Tembo was in the second movie.
We talk about Tembo sometimes. Tembo is pretty cool, as were the some of the vehicles used in TLW.
As for the accuracy of the Barrett M82A1 vs a bolt action, that's a myth invented Call of Duty. Accuracy is in the barrel, the bullet, the trigger, and the shooter. You could have an inexperienced shooter using a .50 BMG bolt action (let's say the McMillan Tac 50), and a semi experienced guy using the M82A1. The semi experienced guy beats the inexperienced guy most of the time (there is the odd time the inexperienced guy is lucky or has natural talent).
Where bolt action beats semi is in reliability. Bolt action is easier to maintain because there is no gas system to cycle the next round. There are less moving parts with a bolt action, and the bolt action is less likely to jam. Most semis are picky for what ammo you use in them, but a bolt action will take a quality round just as well as they take a crap round.
Back to the concern about ammo affecting accuracy, I can say for a fact, that this is true. With my .22, I had a 3-9x40 scope on it, and at 50 yards, I was getting dime sized groups with that scope using CCI 36 grain hollowpoints. Right now, I have a 6-24x42 scope, and at 30-40 yards, I am getting groups that I can't cover with the palm of my hand. I know what I'm capable of, I know what the gun is capable of, so the only thing screwing it over is the ammo. I even have a bipod on my .22 now that I didn't have when I had the 3-9 scope.

I see, sounds pretty cool. I do agree that Roland Tembo is underrated, perhaps it's just that Muldoon was in the first movie (which everbody liked) and Tembo was in the third movie (not so much).
Ah well, I was almost right.
It's possible. It would be interesting to see what Sorna looks like after the events of JP3.
This actually is not far fetched, lets say this animal lived at the very end of the Cretaceous and was quite an advanced species. It could of used its mimicking capabilities to copy the calls of its prey as a lure, and seeing as ingen specimens are not exactly the same as their prehistoric counterparts this dinosaurs vocal capacity could have been increased allowing it to mimick human screams and cries.
this was just a brilliant idea btw and it would make for a seriously scary and creepy antagonist, well done
So.. what's going to happen raptor401? do tell...
Congrats to Omar Sy!
this movie is good but too short ;/
And as for Deinocherius, there are only claws to work with, there is no way tell what it was like. I hate it when paleontologists try to make up an entire animal out of nothing but a few bones that are not specific to what the creature was like (deinosuchus, therizinosaurus, etc.).
Rex Fan, there is also the massive alligator Purusaurus at 40ft. and 8+ tons. And Sarcosuchus' teeth were actually fairly small for its big head, likely to catch mainly fish and medium sized animals. Though it had a lot of teeth.
Now, I like Muldoon a lot, but nobody ever talks any about Roland Tembo, the Rex hunter from JP 2: Lost World. He had some cool jeeps.
If took a shotgun to Isla Sorna or Nublar, I'd take a 4 gauge shotgun (though it'd probably turn my shoulder to dust).

I love his custom Searcy Double Barrel Rifle chambered in .600 Nitro Express, Elephant Gun, and LAR Grizzly Big-Bore tranquilizer rifle.

The Barret is a 50. cal sniper with incredible power. But bolt actions are more accurate, then again, Muldoon is living in hell with massive beasts, so getting another couple rounds off quicker might be crucial.
I'd probably add some explanation about what kind of creature that attacked the boat in the opening of the movie
it's still bugging me until now :/
If it was morgan freeman, he'd narrarate his way out of any problem.

"The mighty T-rex bends down to attempt to kill Morgan freeman, Yes Morgan freeman. The Rex, slowly turns and runs away, Because Morgan freeman... has too much 'Badass-ery' For the rex to eat him."
(If you read that in morgan freemans voice, Good job, your brain relates people to voices, So you could have morgan freeman read you a bed time story."
Yah,true. Could have done more.
Haha, unless it's Morgan Freeman, haha.
Still, can't wait to see what his role will be.
Well, the black guy always dies first in every single movie I've seen. SO, I think I know what's gonna happen to this guy...
Great chapter, as always.
I would just add an explanation to how the illegal breeding of Spinosaurus took place.
I would have had BioSyn return from the first movie to make a last ditch effort at getting dinosaurs. Dodson annd the crew would kidnap Grant, Sattler, Tim, and Lex(similar to in number 3, but with real villains this time). When they arrive, they begin to search for dinosaurs. But they aren't there to get eggs or living dinosaurs. They want to find the facilities that hold the secrets of Ingen in order to dinosaurs. Along the way, they are attacked by a pack of raptors. Some of the crew are killed and the rest escape thanks to the arrival and introduction of Spinosaurus. They find a building and search it. They find some documents and this reveals an in depth look of the history of Ingen. While crew is examining the papers and Dodson is putting some in a water tight container, Grant sees another door. Seeing it as a chance to escape, he, Sattler, and the kids makes a break for the door. The crew catches them and chases them out to a huge dome with a system of walkways. They corner them at the end of one and as they close in, Grant and company are saved by an attacking Pteranodon. Suddenly, dozens show up and attack. Grant and his group, along with Dodson, and one or two others jump of the walkway and land in the water below. The rest are at the mercy of the pterosaurs. After leaving the aviary, Grant convinces Dodson to find a way off the island. Dodson takes out the papers and examines them. He finds a dock a few miles away. The remainder of the crew sets out for the dock. Along the way, they are attacked by the raptors again. They kill one crew member and Dodson, Grant, Sattler, the kids, and the remaining crew member run and find a group of Brachiosaurus. They join the herd knowing the raptors would never attack the he giants. After watching the giants for a while, they find a small maintenence shed and spend the night there. When everyone's asleep, Dodson looks around and finds a pistol and some ammo in a crate. He pockets them for later. The group is woken up by the roar of the Spinosaurus. They look out the window to see him chasing down a herd of hadrosaurs. After bringing one down, the raptor pack emerges from the trees to challenge him for the carcass. The group use the distraction as a means of escape. After some walking, they exit the forest and find the dock. A small, but seaworthy boat, is there with some fuel for it. Realizing that Grant and his group will try and stop him from revealing the secrets of Jurassic Park, Dodson pulls the pistol on them and threatens to shoot them all. But before he can, the Spinosaurus erupts from the treeline and grabs Dodson. As he does, he steps on Dodson's remaining crew member. He swallows Dodson whole and roars at Grant and the others. As he closes in on them, a massive bellow shakes the earth and a huge Tyrannosaurus slams into the Spinosaurus. The spinosaurs stumbles back and the two giants do battle. Grant and the others quickly get on the boat and pull away. They turn to see the island one last time and when they do, the Rex breaks the Spinosaurus' neck. The tyrannosaur roars in victory as the boat sails off and away from Isla Sorna.
Of course it could use some fleshing out, but that's what I'd do.
I'd start with a team of smugglers on Isla Sorna. They fight raptors and pteranodons. After they bring a Tyrannosaurus to northern California, the military is ready. Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler convince the miltary to relocate the dinosaur. Soon, a Spinosaurus emerges onto the mainland and wrestles the Tyrannosaurus. Then, the military leads the Spinosaurus back to Isla Sorna, but they face a Parasaurolophus stampede and an angry Triceratops. They spot a majest herd of Brachiosaurus, and then they fly off the island via helicopter, watching a Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus herd, and after a brief Tyrannosaur roar and Pteranodon confrontation, they fly back to the mainland. The Tyrannosaurus roars at the camera, and then it falls down, tranqulized. Then, we see the Tyrannosaurus being released back onto Isla Sorna, and we hear a Spinosaurus roar as the credits start to roll in.
Thanks guys, and I'd love that room too.
UCMP, the Barrett M82A1 Anti-Material Sniper Rifle is an amazing sniper rifle. It is 10 round semiautomatic, accurate at over a mile, and low recoiled considering what it is due to the fact that the barrel moves back and springs in the stock. It does have flip up iron sights available, but scopes are usually preferred. The Anti Material part means it was originally meant for use on vehicles and other metal objects, not PEOPLE. It will rip a hole in an engine block at a mile.
Rex Fan is right when he says Titanovenator. I even included it in DD9097LS.
Abelisaurs are interesting creatures for sure.
I'm not sure what I'd have done. I'm not the most creative guy out there, but one thing I would've done was not listened to Horner so much. Jurassic Park needs a T-Rex. Jurassic Park without T-Rex is like the Pokemon series without Pikachu. It would work, sure, but it wouldn't be the same and you would have to one heck of a job to make it work.
Of I directed Jurassic Park three it would have been a whole different story.
Hammond would have passed away leaving InGen to his grandchildren Tim and Lex. Hw would have wanted them to redeem him and create a fully functioning Jurassic Park. They would use the facility in San Diego and breed the dinosaurs their. They would have invited Dr Grant to cut the red ribbon. The park would open to the public and thousands of people came to see the dinosaurs. Then Lew Dodgeson head of Biosyn would hire Roland Tembo who has hated InGen since Ajay died and together they would steal dinosaur embryos and turn off the power off the park. They manage to pull it off and the dinosaurs run loose around the city. The T-Rex, raptors and the new threat Carnotaurus rampage around the city. The T-Rex manages to kill Roland and the Carnotaur and Raptors fight over Dodgeson. Tim assembles a team to capture the dinosaurs and suceed to bring the dinosaura back. Tim realizes it is not safe to keep the animals in captivity on the mainland and brings the dinosaurs to Isla Sorna. They finally get back and discover fresh eggs. This will become Jurassic Park 4
I JUST now figured out the Rex follows your camera.
(Thanks Paden)
Well, Micheal never made a third book, thats part of it (Speilburg didn't have as much control over it as he should have)
I did this post too ;)
Tyrannosuchus americanis
11-12 meters long
4-5 meters tall
4-6 tons
Closely related to the tyrannosaurs, but not a tyrannosaur
Lived 90 million years ago in North America
Bite Force- 3,000-5,000 psi
Long arms with 3 fingers(4 inch claws)
Competes with Acrocanthosaurus and Siats for food
Tyrannosuchus(tyrant crocodile)

Closest relatives...
Austratyranus(southern tyrant)
S. America, 110 mya
6-8 meters long, 1-2 tons

Deinovenator(terrible hunter)
Africa, 70 mya
10-11 meters long, 3-4 tons

Yup, someones done 'Em before, Raptor401 did a few of these before...
I'll play though.
I'd combine, T-rex, Spinosaurus, Velociraptor, Utah Raptor, Triceratops, and Troodon into one dinosaur.
(The Trike frill would go on the head with its horns, it would have a mixture of rex and spino for a head, the size of spino, The claws of spino, the mind of a raptor, the toe claw of a utah raptor... and troodon would just fill in gaps.)
