haha dinosaur George said that on jurrassic fight club.
Sorry if it was confusing. Both were raptors, but neither were dromaeosaurs. :)
Hard to give an estimate, but big dinosaurs(sauropods, ceratopsians, stegosaurs, hadrosaurs, large theropods) probably had some pretty thick skin. For herbivores, it'd be for defense. Predators, protection when attacking prey or fighting each other.
Here's an analogy why thick skin would be important to herbivores. A pack of Deinonychus is attacking a Tenontosaurus. The bite and slash, but his thick skin keeps the injuries from being serious. It's like attacking a rhino with a fork. At the end of the day you got a bent fork and a pissed off rhino.
Do you have a guess like in inches?
If that's the dog, I would hate to see the master.
I'd say all of them had thick skin but, sauropods almost certenly had the thickest.
Yep. I did plenty of reserch.
Did you know Cerberus. Is a supposed to be guard dog for the underworld.
thanks guys :) nice to meet you all!
and i won't be doing any spino/t-rex stuff :)
Nice. I always found the "adult" 12 meter long, 5-7 ton estimates people throw out there, uh, troubling. I see 11 meters and 3.5 tons as very reasonable(that's what I have on my site).
Suggestions, I'd like to see more herbivores. We've been seeing a ton of carnivores. But I'd love to see Ceratosaurus. Maybe Ceratosaurus could be done(I don't think you did Ceratosaurus yet at least).
Nice fight but rooting for cerberus
Little short, but good nonetheless.
Nice and new giga would win.
Just write it in another place (i.e. Microsoft Word) and then copy and paste it here, and then add pictures.
I was thinking of writing the fight myself, but knock yourself out, you're a pretty good writer.
Nice fight, I was rooting for Giga. Looking forward to the finale.
Thank you for your help however ice tried many of these and signing on doesn't work however I will try the email. Thanks again!
You have to be logged in on Scified, and do what Carno said. Click menu, click inbox, and you should be good. If that doesn't work, the email is info@SciFied.com
I always write the fight ahead of time and then copy and paste it in, add paragraphs and pictures, and it's usually good to go in 2-10 minutes, depending on how many links and images I have, as well as the length.
Nice job on this, agreeable estimate. I don't have any suggestions.
Nice fight, wasn't rooting for either. Looking forward to your next fight.
Thanks Carno. It was fun writing them all into the fight without them ripping each other to pieces.
Mega raptor for the win!
I hate that it happens all the time to me!!!!
Nope. Not a single way to get it back.
Here's a Pointer for the Future.
Copy your Entire Document. The whole thing, Before you hit "Start Discussion" Paste it in notes or something...
Then, If it goes AWAL, You've got a spare.
Altough It may seem Dumb that you loose it all, There's a reason for that.
After 20 Minutes of Being Idle, THe system assumes you forgot to Log out. As so, It logs out for you.
This tends to happen in the middle of Discussions.
Another thing you can do, but I wouldn't fully trust, Is open another window, and log into the forum, It renews your time. Then post the Discussion.
This seems more like a comment for Forum help.
It currently is the Icon of a mailing Letter.
If worse comes to worse, Email Scified Support. (You can find there email at the bottem of the page). They should be able to help you more.

You have to go to your profile page, click "menu" in the upper right corner, and then select "your inbox" pain in the ass n i don't exactly know why, but that's how you do it
The only dinosaur we saw that survived was velociraptor and being so intelligent it could have avoided the areas being bombed and moved into the underground tunnels where there was plenty of food in the form of rats as well as being safe from the fires.
Also if the game universe was separated from the movie universe then there should not be any raptors alive on the island at all. The raptors are social creatures and as with quiet a few social creatures, and most birds the parents raise the young and feed them. Without a parent the only raptor we saw that did not die was a baby and with no parents to supply food and warmth, it would likely have starved to death or died of exposure. So where did the other raptors come from?
The game offers an explaination for this with the quarentine raptors which were never seen being killed, the underground tunnels for a safe place to hide, the rats to act as food, and the correction of the lycine problem which is why the animals did not die off with little lycine rich food. As of now untill Universal Studios officaly declares th game as not canon with th series I won't cont it out just yet.
That happened to me when I firat started on the forum. I was so mad when I lost part of my story. I would type it on anything you can basically and copy and paste it.
Good post as always Carnosaur
as a suggestion how about Tyrannotitan, Bahariasaurus, and Piatnitzkysaurus
Good fight rooting for Megaraptor.
