The rifle he has is a Marlin 1895 guide gun with a Leupold scout scope mounted with see through rings. The gun is probably chambered in 45/70 although 444 marlin wouldnt be bad, either choice would have very noticable recoil but not when fired in this movie. I did notice the jacketed ammo on the sling, that wouldnt be my first choice for thick skinned game such as dinosaurs. Id prefer 500 gr solids. In the end of the movie he used the gun multiple times at close range but never manipulated the lever. I cant get any of my lever actions to do that, I guess he has the "semi-auto" version of the lever action. He also had some well placed shots with zero damage to the dinosaur, I guess the jacketed ammo broke up on impact.....
I see the similarities between the two.
SOMETHING REAL - I wasn't talking about mental state and visciousness I was talking about physical POSSIBLITIES both Animals possess.
DYNAMOSAURUS IMPERIOSUS - What a very neat theory - and I can certainly see how you have drawn to your conclusions! Indeed; the Indominus rex certainly does bear a strong similarity to the Saurophaganax. Perhaps the design teams decided to use that particular animal's appearance as a base for their creation? it is a very compelling thought! Of course, I am hesitant to say that a Saurophaganax would possess the same personality and mannerisms as the I-rex; after all, Jurassic World's pale-skinned atagonist was created from a large plethora of creatures - many of which were not dinosaus. The absolute cruelty and viciousness along with the physical capabilities evidenced by the I-rex were likely resultant of its genetic instability and the fact that is was raised in isolation. With that being said, there is no way to state that Saurophaganax did not behave in a fashion similar to the I-rex - all the more reason to hope that science gives neither of these animals the chance to walk the face of world!
Its design maybe similar, but it still is made up of many carnivores and none are of Allosaurus decent.
THAT"S WHAT I THOUGHT!!! Indominus Rex is basically a super smart Saurophaganax with some extra features such as temprature control and camouflage with osteoderms and a fourth claw that's pretty much it ( it's pretty cool non-the-less )

I will never see the Indominus rex the same again...
I saw both. They were pretty good.
^I just said previously he was not standing, he lunges his mouth towards the Carcharo. I'm still trying too understand though what part of my grammer was bad, i thought that was the standing achievement of this post.
And they weren't Carnosaurs, Stay focused!! (Grinch reference.)
You're grammar isn't THAT bad. But my problem with the gift is that one t.rex managed to give to equally formidable carnosaurs a run for there money. And a tailless theropod is unable to stand.
^Really the grammer was bad? Thought i did a pretty good job on that.
And yes the Tailess Rex was right next too the Carcharodontosaurus. A lot of things happened in the battle that i could not explain in my writing, like when the Tyrannosaurus male made that last roar it was signaling to the female. And to reach the Carcharo in the final section he did a form of a lunge with his mouth to reach the back, and from they're sort of just held on so that the Female can finish it.
The combatanants were close to each other the whole time, the Female Rex was looking for food in another forest next to where the battle was happening, but the Male did not signal until he was about too die. I was also trying to symbalize experience wins in a fight sort of, with the Rex only being able too handle the brothers because he had the experience from past fights and knew the best motives.
Thanks the story is already released.I guess you are knowing that
You saw T.rex: Ultimate Survivor, didn't you? With the Houston specimen that had all but 5-6 feet of its tail bitten off?
Honestly, the grammar needs work, despite the idea being a decent one to write about. I found the story didn't have the flow it needed in the sentence structure. This is why I emphasize EDITING YOUR WORK before submitting it as a topic. Nonetheless, your next story will be better with editing.
Was the male T.rex close to where his mate had the the surviving Carch in her jaws? Because for any creature like a theropod to walk far without a counter-balance right after after the counter-balance disappears is almost impossible biomechanically.
GORILLAGODZILLA- You aremost welcome! Please continue presenting these battles; they are quite fun to read! :)
^Tried too do my best, which parts did you think were, "wat" xD?
Good fight, although to be honest some parts of the story was a litle "wat?" to me...
Nonetheless you did a pretty good job.
There are some major flaws in the story but good writting none the less.
^Thank you so much Something Real!
Nice! Can't wait for the story.
GORILLAGODZILLA - Wow! That was a very energetic and interesting battle! I greatly enjoyed the inclusion of the female rex! GIRL POWER! Hahaha! Thank you ever so much for taking the time to produce this and share it with us! For your first battle, it was exceedingly neat! :)
^I wanted to make it seem like that, so the final act could be just as cool.
Good chapter. Looking forward to the next.
Initial reaction was "WTF, that's not fair, Rex is going to be slaughtered."
Nice fight, you know who I was rooting for. Good work, it was an enjoyable read.
Just got back from seeing JW. Liked it. Can't say I liked it any more than the last two and certainly not as much as JP. I'll also go on record here saying I think I'm one of the only people who liked JP III. It seems to be the red-headed step-child of the series, but I like the movie quite a bit and I think the Spinosaurus was every bit as terrifying as the I Rex. I would love to have seen more of the mososaur. Always been a fan of aquatic dinos.
JW is a solid, fun addition the the JP series and legacy. Just my two pennies.
It looks pretty cool. Thanks for sharing this with us!
THERIZINOSAURUS REX(AKA KAIJUSAURUS) - That is exceptionally fascinating! I very much like the way in which this animal looks! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this information with us! :)
^Now THAT I would pay to see.
I dont think Zach or Gray wil be in the sequel. Here's my theory
I think Ingen has been experimenting with weaponized dinosaurs on Site B for years. The embryoes that Dr. Wu took on the helicopter were those of a smaller I-rex and other dino weapons. Ingen trains the I-rexes to kill the wild dinosaurs and other expendable assets. Once Owen gets wind of it he assembles a team of former navy buddies and tries to stop Ingen and save the dinos. With Claire's position in Jurassic World Theme Park she will be able to get access to the islands for Owen and his team.
SCI-FI KING25 - Wow! That was exceptionally fun to read! I very much enjoyed the inclusion of the Baryonyx! Excellent work! I am very much looking forward to reading the next chapter! :)
Wow I didn't add a spoiler! :D
Also, coming next- The Mosasaurus Special!
A bit late of a reply but I've been researching on crows, eagles, and owls. I also researched a lot on the African Grey Parrot.
I don't think Owen went back to the Navy, but probably did something related to animals.
I'm wondering what Lowery will do.
It was ok, thx 4 sharing
Oh, yes. Back hen theere was rumors of cancellation and then the hiatus and then the one year delay. Also, wasn't it about a year ago when the helicopter test was posted? Anyway, it was fun looknig at the information and speculating about the film. I remember sitting in the theater on June 11, watching the two eggs hatch and thinking- OHMYGAWDTHEREWASTWO.
It was a fun ride. The movie was GREAT. I can't wait for JW 2.
X_PADEN_X - Indeed, sir! :)
It's a bit reliving and awe-striking to see that I wasn't the only one in the theater to have the feeling of having watched something come to full fruitation. That feeling is something I think i'll have trouble with one-upping in the future.
But boy, was that a good feeling.
X_PADEN_X - The entire experience, for me, was extremely compelling! From the first moments in which I learned of Jurassic World's impending creation to the point in time in which I nestled down into my seat at the film hall to watch the revitilization of one of my most favorite movie franchises, I have been utterly pleased! All in all, I would have to say that the film - and everything that came with it - was well worth the wait! I certainly can agree that Jurassic World could have had just a little bit more to its story, but the film was well-actualized! :)
SIKS - This was amusing! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us! :)
UTAHRAPTOR519 - That was an extremely fun chapter! I am still very fond of Fire; the way in which you descdibe his actions and personality really bring his character to life! Fantastic work! Thank you so much taking the time to create this and share it with us! :)
Yeah the other parody trailer was definitely hilarious (the one with pirate Chris Pratt).
