Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusJun-29-2015 8:46 AMSo, it's been a while. But I decided I'd stop by, say hi, tell you all I loved Jurassic World, and my trip out west was a success. Allow me to elaborate...
I saw Jurassic World twice(once in an IMAX theater and again in a regular one) and I am considering seeing it again, haha. I just can't get enough of it, haha. It's by far my second favorite of the series(the original is still slightly ahead of it). But that finale with Rexy and Blue taking on the Indominus and the mosasaur attack was fantastic!!!
Anyways, and for those of you who remember from back in the day, I took a cross country trip that lasted twenty days. Along with national parks like Yellowstone and Yosemite, I visited a ton of museums and dinosaur sites. They include...
The Chicago Field Museum(got to see Sue)
The Black Hills Institute(got to see Stan)
St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site in Utah(dinosaur trackway)
The Dinosaur Journey Museum in Fruita Colorado
Dinosaur National Monument(Colorado and Utah)
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science
All of these sites and museums are worth a trip(the BHI was really nice for a smaller institute).
Nice to see you all again and hope you all enjoyed Jurassic World as much as I did. Keep it real my friends :)

Also, I went to the Field Museum in April. The Evolving Planet/Dinosaur Hall was the best thing there.

MemberTriceratopsJul-11-2015 10:35 AMJust got back from seeing JW. Liked it. Can't say I liked it any more than the last two and certainly not as much as JP. I'll also go on record here saying I think I'm one of the only people who liked JP III. It seems to be the red-headed step-child of the series, but I like the movie quite a bit and I think the Spinosaurus was every bit as terrifying as the I Rex. I would love to have seen more of the mososaur. Always been a fan of aquatic dinos.
JW is a solid, fun addition the the JP series and legacy. Just my two pennies.
