I'm still sad that Blue is the only Velociraptor variant left, I miss the old tiger raptors and the JP III Raptors

One thing CANNOT SAVE A MOVIE.  Also we got an GMD (Genetically Modified Dinosaur) in Jurassic World (2015).  Anyhow, the concept and premise looks really good and I hope they don't botch it in favor of nostaliga.

Am I the only one get even more indo vibes from Giga, literally is an indo with a thinner snout.

I screwed up a little with the spacing on the Pteranodon section, but oh well...

Well, you have to admit it looks better than (ugh) Fallen Kingdom.

Questions:

1) Has the Jurassic franchise missed the boat on the whole nostalgia thing that's been thoroughly beaten into us? Or are we all still gullible enough to lap it up?

2) Why are the original cast members conveniently wearing the same clothes from 30 years ago? Is there nothing else in the closet? Resistant to style changes? Are they like the Power Rangers and just wear the same color coded outfit everyday? Or is this more like the Mystery Machine gang from Scooby Doo? I mean I know paleontology doesn't pay well, but...

3) I love how maybe, 40 species (generously) made it off the island onto one continent in the prior SyFy Original Motion Picture, but now there's others we've never seen before spread across the world. I mean, yeah, we all saw it coming. And these toys certainly aren't going to sell themselves, but it doesn't make it any less funny.

Something about me: Asides from dinosaurs and the Jurassic Park films, I also like the MonsterVerse films (Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Kong, etc.), Van Helsing 2004, the Underworld films, What We Do in the Shadows (both the film and the show), vampire and werewolf folklore, folklore in general, the supernatural and paranormal, and Dracula. I also like Monty Python.

I think the posted picture shows us about an allosaurus from Jurassic World fallen kingdom. Physiologically, Therizinosaurus is taller as compared to the dinosaur shown in the picture.

From what I've seen so far the game looks pretty terrible... lol compared to other titles in the same niche, I'm hoping the soft release we've seen isn't the final version of the game.

The game is actually out in some countries already. I've been watching TheGamingBeaver's videos on it.

I wouldn't want frontier to remaster Operation Genesis, I rather would have Hi-Dive Studio to remaster Operation Genesis

i hadnt unlocked everything when i did the battle royale.

speaking of wich i just unlocked the giga today, and to be honest, i like the frontier design better than the official design.

(also while playing the game i discovered a new apprectiation of the jp3 dino designs)

Cool, I have yet to unlock every dinosaur/reptile in the game, so I haven't been able to do a full battle royale yet. 

to be honest it looks more like a hybrid than indominus or indoraptor.

saw sue the t.rex at the chicago field museum over christmas. (the flight back was a bloody nightmare)

also finally got my grubby mitts on jwe2,and ive been playing it wich is why ive been gone so long.

i did a battle royale and albertosaurus won. (they killed the bloody spino and rexy!)

favorite dinosaur is definitly crylophosaurus. just because of its purple eye (bloody epic)

also if you did´nt notice my new years resolution is to talk more like a british (i mean why not?)

I agree with that, but something I’d like to bring up is the original themes of the book.

CC is doing a great job of showing themes left out of the movie like how Hammond was a dirty businessman in the book. CC showed up the less cared for and more neglected parts of JW and supported these original themes. 

The brads aren’t really related to this theme but I thought I’d point it out.

It still feels out of place for the Jurassic Park franchise which is about the dangers of genetic engineering and cloning extinct organisms, you can't genetically engineer nor clone a ROBOT

I think the biggest problem with the B.R.A.D.s (and why they probably got such a backlash) is that their appearance was really unexpected and was something that hasn't really been seen in the series before, which came as a shock to some people (myself included). That, and the fact that they're not really something you would immediately think of when you think of Jurassic World. I don't necessarily think that their presence in the series is a bad thing, as they do add some new ideas and seeing prehistoric animals alongside more advanced technology is pretty cool at times, it's just something that takes time getting used to. I could potentially see the fandom warming up to them over time and accepting them as being part of the franchise. Considering some of the other bizarre concepts that were nearly made in the past, advanced robotics aren't too farfetched. Seriously, I'll gladly take the B.R.A.D.s over dinosaur-human hybrids, cyborg soldiers, and multi-headed dino mutants in the franchise any day.

Overall I agree with your analysis. It is probably the weakest season. I do enjoy the series, it’s not stellar but not terrible. My main problems with this season is, The brads (they seem weird to me in the JP universe) but that it doesn’t feel like JP anymore. On of the things about JP I have realized that I like is how contained it is. JP has never felt like it’s trying to be EPIC. 

But CC seems to be striving to make the JP world EPIC, I get other companies because logically other companies would try to compete. But now we’re thrown into a crime thing that doesn’t feel like Jurassic park to me anymore.

One thing that isn’t really much but gives me an excuse to talk about asthetics is the technology as touched on before it feels a bit FUTURY. While it looks nice it doesn’t land with me. I would like it to be blended to have more gritty technology seen in the past movies and even past seasons of CC. It feels weird.

I like the character arcs a lot actually, the romance subplot was the least interesting as I don’t particularly like seeing romance but it’s felt a lot more natural than other things I’ve seen.

Good point, but how well will the Atrociraptors live up to the Velociraptors and will the audience be able to tell the difference? I know I will because I am a dinosaur enthusiast but the general audience don't like to think and learn something new, especially my nephew who can't distinguish the difference a Tyrannosaurus and a Giganotosaurus or the difference between a triceratops and a rhinoceros

Glad I stopped watching it after season 1, I mean freaking robot dogs...seriously. Why not canonize the Chaos Effect toyline instead?
