O.o uuuuhh I'm thinking in a battle between pets.

I really like your version of how it would go. Definitely things in there that would benefit this series. These are just ideas, and things I've pieced together for one way it could go. All the military stuff is something I'll admit my knowledge is lacking on, and no one could be sure of the way the plot around that might progress, because it would come about in a sequel. I mean it's why the writer of Rise of the Planet of the Apes avoided that problem for now (the problem of setting the apes against the entire military), and is now attached to JP4... And I have studied evolution, so I know things have to be tweaked to work. However, the basic idea is that the geographic isolation created by taking them out of a perfectly suited habitat changes them. Forces them to adapt in new ways. I wouldn't make them some weird freaks that Biosyn cloned up, but mainly altered by being taken out of their environment. Maybe even describing it as a rampage is wrong because nothing is technically written or set in stone yet, it's just an idea I like from another forum and passed along. Trying to let other fans help influence this in some small way because of some of the people I know... They would be taken out of a place with the ideal conditions, perfectly suited for them, cloned flora and all; and this causes problems when they're taken out of it. Mainly because of the way they adapt in the outside world over the course of the movies, instead of being purposely changed or used as a weapon. It's a lot like what Darwin witnessed with his finches when a natural disaster separated or created new islands for the finches to spread to. Darwin noticed slight variation among the finches that had split off the main group, onto the other islands. One group of Finches kept passing on a trait for longer beaks because the food source they were after was easier to get with a longer beak. Then this trait became associated with survival and it became an advantageous trait that increased with subsequent generations because those who possessed it and survived were able to reproduce. This would be on a much larger scale, and we'd find some who didn't adapt. An adaptation to new food sources and new environments. So there'd be a reason for why the carnivores are suddenly more bloodthirsty, showing up in cities to feed, and eating members of their own species to procreate and survive. No one's feeding them anymore and the only ones who survive after the initial (unseen and revealed later) Biosyn outbreak are adapting to the outside world at a rapid rate because of the bullfrog genetics and their ability to reproduce on their own with the bullfrog hermaphrodite gene (which we saw a little of in the first movie). Evolution finds a way to ensure survival of the species because advantageous traits are passed on once they appear and become associated with reproductive success. Or in this case may continue to seemingly randomly appear/mutate slightly. Oh and It's not that the gov't wanted them as weapons, or even that BIosyn wanted them as weapons in what I posted. It's just that Biosyn was following Hammond's original goal of "putting a park in every country" and succeeded in putting one on every continent behind the backs of gov'ts who have been worried about the appearance of dinosaurs since the rampage in San Diego. The Gov't wanting to bomb the island is taken straight from the books (I believe, I'll have to check to make sure), and not being able to bomb the cities could be an extension of this and one of the potential causes for being eventually overwhelmed. The raptors have already shown they can make precision strikes against power centers, and open some doors. There's a huge problem getting them in the military bases, so I hope they don't go back and make the gov't want them as weapons again like the stupid idea where they had guns. I'm thinking the second movie shows the downfall of one city and then reveals this is going on to this scale all over the world. Same with the planet of the Apes sequel which could share a number of similarities, but many differences also because they have a different point to start from. Until we see what has become of this world in a third movie. The problem is setting them against the generals in a logical way and getting them inside to cut power to everything, even though the gov't doesn't want them as weapons in some of the ideas that may be used now.

ok so theres this one aswell. opening scene . its raining hard in a small fishing village , its dark and the only lights the people have are small lanterns. a mother puts her baby to bed , then walks into another room of her shack to go to sleep next to her husband. then theres a loud rumble of thunder and the baby starts crying , so the mother goes to see but stops dead in her tracks and screams as her husband gets up and runs to her , they both see a dark shadowy figure standing in the doorway , then with a crack of lighting they see the baby hanging from its mouth , and the glistening , muscular body of a monster, the beast turns and runs out into the rain , the man goes out to chase it but stops as he see it standing at the edge of the foliage . still with the crying baby in its mouth , through the hard rain he can see 2 more monsters standing there , slim, well balanced, faint glowing /reflective eyes staring back at him . then the 3 shadows disappear into the night. well as it turns out hammond has a large private estate not far from there. well secure, fenced and walled place in the jungle/rainforest/mangrove swap land , i havent decided yet . well he hasent told anyone that its there or what goes on there. henry wu is living /working there with other people from the lab back on the first island , there still employed by hammond and still working on engineering dinos in secret . hammond has a few mid size paddocks for his own mini jp , with a few smaller and less aggro dinos . but he and henry have be working on tyring to make less smart and less intimidating raptors , with 3 raptors kept there to study . well the raptors are still smart and are using a tree in the corner of there small inclosure to escape at night and roam around the area hunting and killing what ever they like . the proptery has a river running along one side that runs into the sea further down but is blocked off buy heavy gates and fencing . at one stage a rotted corps of a baby raptor is found (yes there breeding again)by a villager whos dog was chewing it , not knowing what it is , whats left is sent to a vet/doctor in the city , he gets in contact with a university in new york where tim is working now . tim is so intrested he flys out to where it was found . he ends up in a place almost like where dennis met dodson in the first movie, thats where he bumps into wu whos is suprised to see him there . (tim knows about some house hammond stays at sometimes but thats all he knows.) so he tells wu about everything that happend and that he heard a report that some kind of monster is killing and eating people , pets and cattel or something . wu seems distressed and takes tim back to the estate where time cant bleave whats going on there. and is annoyed the hammond never told him . there in a underground lab where wu show tim some papers and other stuff , then says ill be back , and walks out of the room . tim is looking at a mid size, thick glass window that looks out into the muddy river as he mover closer trying to see, a fish comes into view and he jumps back startled , thats when wu calls out to tim to come to the next room . tim turns and walks off , just as he does there a glimps of a flipper and a tail in the water that goes past the window quickly , so some how they work out that the raptors have been escaping and causing havoc and try to fix the problem befor it get worse . then i dont know maby they call the expendables for help or something . i dont think it will tie in to well. :)

i would like to have it as , the world knows about the island after all it was all over the news ( the first accedent and then rex in the city and then the navy comming to the rescue) so how bout a 2 shady guys offer hunters the chance of a life time , to hunt a dino . the guys travel to the island at night and have a small hideout/basecamp . im thinking its on the first island where dennis was ment to meet the boat . maby have a hunter with a raptor head mounted in his office and hes possing for a pic with the head just in frame , thats where (grant , or malcom , or tim or .......) sees it and questions its authenticity , thus having the hunter agree to tell them about the extream hunts tours. then have the good guys going to the island to get proof to show the goverment thats its happing , (with some doggy goverment guy being involved with it) then ppl start getting eaten and well i havent realy thourght about the rest . i have a better one ill put in the next post

the ones in jp3 are more badass and smarter but i think the ones in the lost world look the best

maby cause of the thunder they woke up ? the storm was just passing over as nedry went for a drive. the storm might of had they edgy , thats the only thing i can think of

I have never thought of that. Imagine, if The Lost World: Jurassic Park left on a cliffhanger ending with the ship containing the Tyrannosaur headed for the mainland and perhaps plans by InGen to recapture the remaining species and bring them back too. That would have set the third film up to a much more important and relevant story, well, an InGen centered story. The mainland park could have been successful for some years and a resort could have been set up with the general public staying there, families, businessmen and women, all people really. Seeing the attractions, the rides, the dinosaurs! All happily for sometime until something inevitably occurs to disrupt this balance, this success. An earthquake perhaps, the San Andreas fault ruptures causing a quake, it would only have to devastate power, disrupt service roads and maintenance, enough to trap people and release dinosaurs. All kinds of dinosaurs and force them into unrestrained contact with humans once again. Chaos theory in action, I do enjoy this foundational premise you have developed. It offers so many possibilities for story telling. What do you have in mind?

Hey welcome to the new Jurassic Park 4 forums [b]Z123[/b]! You raise some good questions for sure. Can't really answer that question, only speculate. But, if I had to guess, I'd say they were constantly testing the fence for weaknesses, as was mentioned in the film. Whether they kept testing the fences over again after finding no weaknesses the first time is possible.

T-REX isn't soe push over hes at the top of the food chain he the greateset of greats in jp2 he terrorized New York for a 24 hrs which is hard to do with all the govement and in jp1 and 3 he destroyed raptors very easily. My point is T-REX is and will win kning his potential

Spino had his moment on the king chair but T-REX is back and better than ever so watch your back Spini the King is coming for you! Heck yes. T-REX is superior in many ways his arm aren't useless and is jaws are the most powerfull o anything thats lived. In jurrasic Park 3 spinosaurus got lucky. I am not saying he wimpy but T-REX can kick his butt any day of the week. He stronger, since he shorter than spino he has a better chance at grabbing the neck so i cant wait for round two. More blood,more time, mre awesomeness! LETS GO T-REX! LETS GO!

To me JP3 was just a continuation of the series to keep it alive and to tell all of us that hey Jurassic Park is still going. Now granted I was very upset with the story line and plot. I thought it was cool that someone got trapped on the island the search rescue went on, But I mean having a upset with the Tyrannosaur losing its fight against a new guy? Come on The trademark of this series is the Tyrannosaurus and its ferocity and ability to strike terror in you. But in JP3 I felt as they did it just to see what the fans would think.

Ok, Dilophosaurus that scene was so halirous! What are all you people talking about!? 'Fetch! Stick stupid! Ah no wonder your excint!' Come on that scene was histarical! Expectionally the charater and how the Dilophosaurus reacted with a playful, curious charactor. It reminded me of a puppy or Stitch. And the raptors! Come on the raptors are the best! Even if their size is off proportion! Those are the raptors we've come to know and love! Their the one's you'd have thrilly nightmares off, and i used to scare my sister with XD!! It sounds like basically Avatar butwith Dinosaurs haha but hey a movie is a movie I just reallyhope this movie comes out s badass as it is hyped up to be

Though it is an interesting idea I feel that it just wouldn't fit in the JP universe. The islands have been sort of a symbol that have reoccurred throughout the series. Though in JP 3 the island was very much so abandoned, and unkempt, I wouldn't exactly know where to place the setting. The dinosaurs have also been brought to the city as well, so I'm not sure if that idea will be revisited.

Appreciate the feedback guys!!! :) Don't get me wrong I love the t-rex just as much. I aswell grew up on the trex being king. I'll never forget the first time seeing jp for the first time, I was only 3 and its honestly the only memory I have at that age haha. Im not gonna lie the 3rd film was my least favorite, but I instantly feel in love with spino soon as he was introduced. I just loved the concept that it could swim, it gave me a whole new prespective on dinosaurs. The fight between the 2 did seem a little unrealistic and the trex didnt get the credit it deserved, and I agree with chris a full grown male trex and spino fight would be quite interesting. But then again im just baseing my opinion on the films, for all I know the spinosaurus could be a little bitch haha. But basing my opinion on the film I have to favor the spino. I really look forward to the next film and I wouldnt be disappointed in anyway if they decided to make the trex king once more. :D

or they could use both spinosaurus and tyrannosaurus, make it a round 2

tyrannosaurus rex didn't get it's name for nothing or even add giganotosaurus, it is a giant, bigger then the rex and (technically) bigger then the spinosaurus, also i think they should incorporate ocean dinosaurs as well like magaladon , or even a Quadlaceptacus, biggest pterosaur in the dinosur kingdom i mean this is apparently the last jurassic park movie, why not end it with a bang!

I just look at Spinosaurus and I don't see a vicious killer like T-Rex. It apparently ate Fish, not T-Rex, they only used it because with it's sail it was a bit bigger than T-Rex. You simply can't beat the classic, and in JP3, the Rex that faced the Spino was apparently a juvenile male, imagine if the fully grown female from Jurassic Park 1 fought the Spinosaurus instead - I can imagine a different outcome. But that's my opinion, I'm #TeamRex, all day, every day, haha.

I agree with the other reply. It is all a matter of personal taste. I enjoyed Jurassic Park 3 (yes, I know many didn't like 3 but I was entertained by it) and I thought Spinosaurus was cool. I did find myself a wee bit perturbed when he snapped the neck of my beloved Rex though, lol. I really don't think it matters who is your favorite. As long as someone supports the series of films they're alright in my book. I'm almost 31 years old and am literally giddy over the 3D re-release of JP and the news of the 2014 release of JP4. Personally, I hope both T-Rex and ol' Spino have a lot of screen time in the new film. =)
