The only reason Joe directed III is because he wanted to direct The Lost World, and he kept bitching to Steven like a child wanting a toy when Steven stupidly allowed him to make a poorly plotted third installment. It wasnt until Joe showed up and got his greasy hands on the franchises future when the Jurassics started sucking. So I am PRAYING that mistake is avoided at all costs. Please Steven, please for the love of Christ do NOT LET JOE RUIN IT EVEN MORE.

Dodgson goes after Nedry's Barbasol can. Retrieves it, and starts construction of his version of Jurassic Park, in the heart of California or something. There are complications dinosaurs run wild , but before all this Hammond tries to stop it. Dies from heart attack, Tim comes from like the military or something. Grant comes back Ellie follows, Malcolm does the same.

Whats up everyone... I'm super excited for the re-release of JP almost as much as I am for the 4th film, though, I'm slightly worried where they'll go with the plot. After I saw actual concept art and models depicting ideas of a mutant half-human/half-dinosaur, I kinda became worried its going to be horrible. I feel as if the fans deserve something more true to the original film. Don't "Michael Bay us" with this franchise, and do something as crazy as he's doing with making the Ninja Turtles into Aliens and not mutants. WE DESERVE BETTER! lol... but we really do. What I would love to see and what would be a dream come true for me is a film that takes us back to where we were all first in awe and full of excitement and amazement. I want to go back to the original island in the first film! Wouldn't it be amazing to go back, see those giant doors that welcomed us into the park, revisit the visitor center, the velociraptor enclosure, see the cars on the track! Of course, all of these things would be decayed and in ruins, but it would still be sooooo exciting. I still get chills watching the original film, and can't even imagine how amazing it would feel to get to see those things that we first fell in love with all over again! There's sooooo many possibilities and routes they could go with if they did go back. There could be flashbacks, returning cast members, returning dinosaurs! Anyway, just an idea, just a dream...

thats an interesting script faizan sort of a twist from jp2 but better they'd be a fool not to even look at the scripts you guys are writing

The dinosaurs are growing in number. Hammond had a secret he never told anyone. Hammond dies out of old age and sickness. His grandson (seen in JP1) knows the secret. He calles Dr.Grant and tells him about his Grandpas death. Dr.Grant comes down to meet him. After some time the kid raises the topic of the experience in JP1. And says "What if I tell you theres a way to stop the incidents happenin on the Islands. My grandpa had a secret." Dr.Grant asks fr the secret n d kid tells there is a way to controll the dinos from breeding and laying eggs. but the medicine is available in the Isla Nubla and it has a main hydro power system which connects to the river flowing throughout the whole island. Shocked by this secret he asks why didn't he tell about this before the kid tells that they were his creation and he couldn't watch them die all together. The kid asks Dr.Grant if he can join him on this mission. Dr.Grant refuses saying he wil never step on that islang again. the kid revelas that his sister (seen in JP1) is already on the island and hasn't returned since the past month. Dr.Grant remembers his moments with the girl in JP1 and agrees to join him. they head to the island with the theme song playing. adventure happens ppl dies, finds his sister.. successfully release the virus, on their way out of the island they see d virus successfully acting on the dinos as many die and they fly away from d island. end scene: the eggs remain untouched and hatch after the effect of the virus passes.. to be cont.. the end

wow! this sounds so smazing. I think someone should try it out with the genes of an ostrich instead of a chicken. and make create a theme park :P though things goes wrong in the movie becos of human error and greed, it does nt always have to happen that way. There are wild animals in every Zoos bt nothing goes wrong right? so I dont see any problem in trying this out.

I think the dinos in JP1 looked amazing! they should probably stick to that. In JP3 I think the Velociraptors had some feather like stuff on their heads which didn't spoil the look. so its better not to put too many feathers and make them look like ostriches.

I would personally prefer Isla Nublar because it would give the feel of the old epic original JurassicPark coming back in action.

do remember jurassic park 3 wasn't written either if i recall speilburg did say "im going to cherry pick my favourite parts" you can see that with the aviary (jp3) it was from the first book, he has been doing this from jp 2 to 3 so we can expect to see some parts from the books for example the worker village or the t rex lagoon. for the last jp i was disappointed the speilburg wasn't directing it im going to be sad again since steven wont be directing it but james cameron is a very good director so if they can get him on board its much worth seeing

I love how the rex infects its prey with the rotting meat in them big jaws. Hopefully they incorporate this with JPIV

x_paden_x that t-rex from jp3 wasnt the baby from jp2 if it was then i would have a scar on its leg witch it doesnt also it most likely is still on the eastern side of the island when the third film took place on the western island, i mean he could have traveled but its not the young t-rex from jp2

I'm hoping Jurassic Park IV explores aspects of the book which weren't explored in Jurassic Park 1, with some added twists along the way. If the rumors about the $200+ Million budget turn out to be true, I feel the studio will be more vested into making this one a major success. However the JP films did get progressively worse after the first one, it's hard to say. I'll have a more accurate assumption once a director is finally chosen, then we can get an idea of what kind of filming style to expect. With regards to story and plot, I think Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver are very good at what they do, and they did a fantastic job with [i]Rise of the Planet of the Apes[/i]. So, here's hoping a equally talented director is hired so JP4 can be a smash hit!

they should keep the old spino logo for jp 3 it made it more interesting dont get me wrong i love patriotic jp red and yellow rex but there needed to be some change or else you'd just walk by it at wall-mart mistaking it for a earlier jp. but the 4th should have the old jp logo but its chromed with different metallic finishes. if your curios why they used spino its because for the logo of each movie they put the dominating dinosaur twice its been t-rex but since the spino killed the rex (thats the baby we see in jp2 tlw) he took the title

well in jp 3 they were already "evolving" in a way I guess, but theres a lot of controversy on this topic what i believe is that during the prehistoric age baby to juvenile dinosaurs had soft downy feathers ( for warmth) and they out grew them when they fully matured, it was a bit of a okay step with the raptors but a t-rex (or spino or stego or triceratops"with feathers no thats pointless why would you do that, i know fossils have been found with the feathers in them but we dont know for sure if they ALL had feathers so In my opinion they should stay with the scales and only 1 or 2 feathered dinosaurs.

Im actually kinda happy that they used a new dinosaur dont get me wrong i love t-rex but the jurassic parl films were getting alittle the same they needed something different...do i think the t-rex shuld have won???...yea and no...yes because t-rex was stronger but no because it was only a juvenile. But for the nw jp i hope they either use ( spino, t-rex, baryonx, allosaurus) i hope they dont use the marine animals yea it would be cool but then the humans are even more vulnerable....

I think the redesigned dinosaurs will be a hybrid of the original Jurassic Park design and a new design that may feature somewhat feathered dinosaurs. I am sure that the filmmaker(s) are aware that having oversized chickens running around would be laughable. So I am sure it will not look ridiculous.

I think however what is the most likely scenario to happen with the Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park 4, will be that they have feathers. Hopefully not too many, but I assume they will in fact have some feathers on their bodies. Aside from that, not too sure. One thing I will add, I hope they leave the Raptors the size that they've always been portrayed as in previous JP films, otherwise they won't be as scary. They'll be more like compies if anything and they were my least favorite of all the Dinosaurs featured in the Jurassic Park films. Some unrealistic aspects must be kept in the film, it is a movie after all.

Yeah, I agree, I would love to see everyone again. I think it would be funny to even see the Kurby family. But I am afraid they will do something totally off the wall with the fourth film. :(

well it would take a lot of trial and errors but that is what science is (I dont think getting Eaton by a raptor is in science though) but there raptors they were only truly to the size of your knee a utah raptor on the other hand is the size depicted in the movies... a pet velociraptor hmmmm small and fun (and deadly)

You're not the first to theorize their return and I absolutely back you up on that! I would also like to see the return of both actors who played Tim and Lex. However, Ariana Richards, the actress who played Lex in [i]Jurassic Park[/i] has taken a break from acting and apparently is keeping busy with her Art gallery. So, who knows if she would even accept the offer if [i]Universal[/i] reached out to her. However, I would love to see more of the original cast make an appearance, even if it's only for a small cameo, anything would just further solidify this new film as a true [i]Jurassic Park[/i] movie. Without any of the original cast, it just won't feel like Jurassic Park. But that's my opinion.

As awesome as that sounds, I would have to say no, I do not think it would work out correctly( with the DNA part, you would have so many incorrect species), and most of all I don't want to be killed by a pack of Raptors :)

t-rex scavenged and hunted if you had a chance of a free hamburger would you pass it up not likely t rex is the same he gets his own food and eats what he can find. if a Rex vs spino happend the rex would most likely win its bigger then the spino its main weapon its head is bigger and has a better arenal of teeth. a spino on the other hand has a long jaw and a longer row of teeth. I think that a full grown rex would take down the spinosaur and sustain a lot of damage

I absolutely think Tyrannosaurus would win against Spinosaurus. I've heard theories that T-Rex was a scavenger, and I don't buy it. T-Rex was massive, powerful, and it's jaws were meant to crush bone, I think it hunted its prey, instead of feeding off old, dead carcasses. Also, you bring up a good point, T-Rex probably fought other T-rexes and dangerous Herbivores, like Triceritops, Ankylosaurus, etc... So he would be used to fighting for his life, territory and food. I think Spinosaurus wouldn't stand a chance. Would I like to see a rematch? Hell yeah. Also, the T-Rex in JP3 was a juvenile male T-Rex, nowhere near the size of the fully grown female seen in Jurassic Park (1). I think if they had a full grown Rex like from JP1 or JP2 against a Spinosaurus, it would be game over for the Spino. No question. Carcharadontosaurus and Giganotosaurus would make great additions, but still T-Rex remains the Carnivore which would do the most damage I think. Simply based on its design compared to these other super predators.

Some really great theories being posted here! Great stuff, I'm really enjoying all these Jurassic Park 4 plot ideas! I'm not sure which one I like best. But I will agree with some of you, I would love to see T-Rex rematch against Spinosaurus and reclaim his title as the king. The ideas of military moving in to extract a lost team of scientists seems similar to JP3, but could work. That one theory about Isla Numblar and Isla Sorna drifting together is really neat!

Agreed pal !!!!! Spino was a big ass dude and was mahooosive but prob used its size to scare of rival as apposed to actually competing! Rex i believe had to compete with other rexes n deal with tanks like ankylosaus n tricerotops. Where u need bone crushing jaws or ul get a straight knock out bein hit by one of them . Special old fishy chops spino. Amazing lookin dude ! But wen it comes to battle if he would keep rex mouth away could win but if he got ya game over spino. Would love to see a carcharadontosaurus or giganotosaurus in the new jp4 :)

Some good ideas guys! Im deffinately feeling a higher rating than PG 13 is needed to completely satisfy us dino nuts !!! Im a lover of both the books by crichton and i feel spielberg did do an amazing job . Jp1 prob is my fav film of all time. But one thing i did notice is that in comparisson with the books the character lewis dodgeson, is hardly mentioned! In the books, his rival company wants to compete with ingen hense the offer to nedry to ship the embryos off the island! But obv it never happens! Now ingen is totally screwed down to wat happened on both the islands, this could possibly be dodgesons chance to finally get what he has been waiting for. NO RIVAL! Either that or could go avatar style into the future on another planet TUROK style and just have pure carnage , ppl bein eaten left right n centre, new dinos such as giganotosaurus n the famous allosaurus being introduced , with a 15 rating ! its such a good plot u could so easily make it about anything and have a decent movie but I think they need to make it more like the movie we all loved J.P 1. simple plot john hammond dies they auction the estate and in the estate is the original island where under law is still zoned commerical use. so the company that was stealing the embreos in the first one buys the island and is planing to open it as a (much more extravagent and modern technoligy) but with one glitch hammond had secrets..... and writters que to input greatness it would basicly be a remake but with a back story already told and as for actors would be awesome to have jeff goldbloom show up at the end with his chaos theroy saying see i told u nature finds a way! :P

sadly this is just a theory no one has yet to invest in this possibilities, i do believe that there is the side of risk but i dont think a chubby hacker could come and screw over my version of jurassic park but to Achieve something you must hang the risks and see what happens

I think it's absolutely being tested already and probably has been for many many years now. Whether they will be successful or not is a different story. But do I ever think of Jurassic Park becoming a reality? Absolutely! Do I think it would be a good idea? Hell no! Haha, movies aren't just for entertainment value, they have valuable messages in them as well. Jurassic Park's is a simple one - you can't control life. Life always finds a way. Just like with the Terminator movies. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. But if I were to compare those two franchises, I'd say we have a higher chance of creating a deadly, self-aware AI than re-creating a Tyrannosaurus Rex in a lab.
