A carnosaur is a carnivorous therapod

I would like to see water dinosaurs. There could have been some secret lab on the opposite side of Isla Nublar where they were creating some water dinos but when the island was destroyed by all the dinos, the hatchlings were released into the ocean. Then somehow later they spread throughout all the oceans. The first scene would be some giant fishing boat out at night and when they try to pull in the net, it gets caught. When they finally get it loose a giant aquatic creature jumps out of the water and destroys the boat. While the boat is sinking, one of the crew members makes a call to the coast guard and any authorities that could help. When the coast guard gets to the spot the call was made, it was too late but there was a giant bite mark in a piece of wood from the ship. Of course they were shocked by their findings so they immediately grab the plank from the water and bring it to the shore for immediate analization......From there you could continue in any direction to make the plot more interesting :)

We don't have proof either way, besides, it lived in a time of the occasional sauropod, I bet they would band together to take one down.

Most scientists think Utahraptor was solitary. Besides, it would be hard for them to do another dromaeosaur of any sort since they did the over-sized Velociraptors.
ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic World ForumRaptors Rise to the Top in JPIVJun 13, 2013
How about Utahraptor, it was pretty big, and it could get bigger (for real, not jp velociraptor bigger). A good pack of five or six could kill T. rex ( probably).

Some are just closer than others. Keep in mind the ceratosaurs and tyrannosaurs are not Carnosaurs. Ceratosaurs are on their own and the tyrannosaurs are coelurosaurs.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumFavorite AllosaurJun 13, 2013
Well, technically, there all Carnosaurs, but that is just by my book, literally, my Dino book said that.

Yeah really, an adult Trike could be 25+ ft long and 5-6 or more tons in weight.

Ps. It did, oops.

Thanks. Dryptosaurus pic: same as the first one, that was my pick too.

The allosaurs are considered to be the ancestors of the carcharodontosaurs. I feel they are close enough to put them together.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumDryptosaurus vs. Gastonia Jun 13, 2013
Haha, you don't until you post it. You can edit comments, so if it does not work there, you can fix it. As far as the discussion itself, that's up to the people that run the sight. You have to ask them.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumFavorite AllosaurJun 13, 2013
But isn't Carcharodontosauridae a seperate chordata from the Allosauridae? Btw your response made me laugh really hard for some reason. My runner up is Acrocanthosaurus if I couldn't choose Carchar

ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumFavorite AllosaurJun 13, 2013
Futurepaleontologist1, I already knew what yours was. Deltadromeus15, I figured by your name, yours would be Delta. People like me are a little harder to figure out, haha
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumTop 10 Marine PredatorsJun 13, 2013
Why don't you check out my lineup. Btw, I don't think Cretoxyrhina should be here. If your gonna put a paleoshark that's not Megaladon on this list I think it should be Stethocanthis. Good lineup though. Some of the rankings are out of order. Are you new? I've never seen your name here
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumFavorite AllosaurJun 13, 2013
This concludes the Charcharodontosauridae? Well then, do you even have to ask?
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumFBR 3 UPDATESJun 13, 2013
Rex vs Trike or Deinonychus vs Dilo would be cool.

Deinonychus vs Velociraptor for next series. Haven't heard from you a lot lately paden... But like Makaveli said, it'll be hard to top FBR 1&2.

ReplyBacktotheRootsJurassic World ForumJurassic Park 4 (Jurassic World) Plot SynopsisJun 13, 2013
All I'm saying is does nobody remember the Barbosol can that the computer guy lost in the first movie? I know it's a small part, but maybe in 4 this could be (found?) or be a piece of the overall plot. For instance, it gets found, and sold to someone, but, the embryos are long dead, but it sparks memory and causes another company to buyout Ingen or something similar.
Secondly it would be so awesome in my opinion if they went back to some of the sets from the first movie and had like "flashbacks" like when the raptors chases them through the main building, or where the jeeps wrecked. (it'd be cool if they were still there) Or have Grant find the raptor claw he threw away or have someone else find it and give it to him at the end of 4.
I know I might not have spoilers but I think these would be cool little quirks to the movie plot overall.
Thx for reading!

Working on Tyrannosaur and Spinosaur research as we speak. As far as the other fight goes, T-rex vs Triceratops is a classic. Allosaurus vs Ceratosaurus is also good. If you want giant predator vs giant prey, my suggestions are...
Allosaurus vs Camarasaurus
Carcharodontosaurus vs Paralatitan
Giganotosaurus vs Argentinosaurus
Tyrannosaurus vs Alamasaurus
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumFBR 3 UPDATESJun 13, 2013
Man... It's going to be hard to top those. But then again, that's what we said about the second one.

Right click on a pic and copy image url. It won't work if it says encrypted in it though. It's also best not to do one if it says Your Text Link Here.

Can you imagine a T-rex Raptor hybrid? The immense size and strength of Tyrannosaurus, and the speed and intelligence of Velociraptor. That would be unstoppable! I don't mean little 10 foot Raptorex. I mean a 45 foot long predator, haha
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumDryptosaurus vs. Gastonia Jun 13, 2013
Sorry about having no pictures, I don't know how to put them in.
Replyx_paden_xJurassic World ForumRaptors Rise to the Top in JPIVJun 13, 2013
Thing is, raptor cant ever be the main antagonist, yes it would be cool, but we cant honestly do a lot with raptors, they stalk/hunt there prey...
We will probably see a big Dino as the main antagonist, granted raptor will return... as his/hers normal side antagonist position...

Deltadromeus was first thought to be 30 feet long, but was later revised to 26 feet long. I think it's in the family of Ceratosaurus, but it might be an Allosaur.
