Walking with Dinosaurs without a doubt.
ReplyAirman AlloDinosaurs ForumCarnotaurus or Troodon?Jun 29, 2013
I'd have to say Carnotaurus but I was like "Oh Crap!" every time I heard the troodon's hiss like sound in the game

Chased By Dinosaurs was pretty decent. I've only seen bits and pieces of Prehistoric Park though.

Jurassic fight club. Unfortunately I haven't seen the other ones except the walking with dinosaurs. Although chased by dinosaurs and prehistoric park are also really good.

I forgot to mention, the part in JP3 when the Spino ate the phone and it kept ringing inside of it. Then they pulled it out of it's crap and it was completely unscathed. Come on, really?

Malcom said that I think. Nice one.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumSeason 1: Episode 1, Birth and DeathJun 29, 2013
Not bad. Really sets the stage for the other episodes. As far as dino input goes, dinosaurs I suggest are: Tyrannosaurus, Daspletosaurus, Tarascosaurus, Therizinosaurus, and Australovenator.
I also suggest pics. I know it can be tricky, but maybe just one for each dinosaur the episode focuses on. Just a thought. Good start though.

Dinosaurs-
Tyrannosaurus- Power was underrated in JP3
Rex chick was featherless in JP TLW
Too fast in the first movie. Rexy was said to be 46 ft long and 8+ tons, yet she could run 32 miles per hour. A Rex that size would only run 15-20 miles per hour tops.
Poor vision, that's bull
I love the fact that in the first movie, the Rex is inches from Grant and Lex and does not realize they are there. Sure they were sitting still and keeping quiet, but come on. The Rex could not smell them?
Spinosaurus- More robust than it really was, in my opinion
The wrist action
2 small crests above each eye instead of 1 big one in the middle of the head
There was no notch in the upper jaw
Velociraptors- Size of course
Featherless of course
Looked more like Deinonychus or Utahraptor than Velociraptor, not just size. The skull design was almost exactly like Deinonychus.
This is just a small sample and it's just the dinosaurs, let alone the other things. Still love the trilogy though, haha

DinoFights, you are one of the greatest guys on this site. Why do bad things always happen to good people? I hope your son has a quick recovery. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Best of luck to you guys.

To all those readers out there, I'd really like your input. This is my first time doing this, and I'd like to know what you think so I can make it a good as possible. Thank you for reading.

Didn't they spell Tyrannosaurus with one n? And Stegosaurus with an a?
Something else that bugged me was in TLW when they were walking in the rain, Tembo had is shotgun slung over his shoulder with the barrels collecting water. It also bugged me when Tembo aimed at the Rex, pulled the trigger and realized it was empty, and then pulls two rifle cartridges out.
I am a bit of a gun nut, the gun Tembo had was a shotgun because it didn't have any sights on it, so it would have had a bead sight on it, which is only on shotguns.

I was watching TLW last night, and one I found entertaining was
"Did you find him" - I forget who said this
"Only the parts they didn't like" - Tembo

Large Carnivore - T-Rex, my favorite and the King afterall
Small - Utahraptor, pretty cool because it's actually the real life version of the velociraptors portrayed in the jurassic park movies.
Ride - Albertosaurus, that thing was pretty quick man
Eaten - T-Rex because of basically what Dinosaur Fanatic just said. That and I'd rather get killed by something that I loved than did'nt like much.
See but not interact - Sauroposeidon, it was even bigger than brachiosaurus
Skeleton - Spinosaurus because I haven't seen one yet in person
Meet Herbivore - Triceratops, my second favorite dinosaur next to T-Rex
Herbivore attack - Iguanadon, I don't know, because it'd be fun.

Well spotted !! The tim standing doing nothing bugged me too hahah
JP1:
The spelling on the test tube dna samples Nedry steals!
The t rex breaking the glass roof of the car n then it fixes mirracuously.
Trex comes through fence but then car falls over a cliff coming from same place into a tree
JP3 when spino was chasing the ppl into the clearing before he meets t rex , he crashes out of the foilage and increases in size to like GODZILLA size ! That realllly bugs me lol especially when u freeze frame it( bad CGI)
And when grant has a dream on the plane of the raptor he visualises the JP3 raptor when he actually he has only seen the originals on JP1

Pretty good. Is the one kid going to get revenge and the Acro that killed his father when he is older like in the one DinoFights battle with the Suchomimus? Better yet, don't answer that.

Large Carnivore- Suchomimus (probably wouldn't try to eat me)
Small- Dilophosaurus (one of my favorite dinosaurs, hopefully it wouldn't shoot venom at me)
Ride- Quetzalcoatlus (technically not a dinosaur but a pterosaur, a HUGE pterosaur. would be so fun to fly on one!!!)
Eaten- T-rex (one bite and I'm gone)
See, but not interact- Brachiosaurus
Skeleton- Spinosaurus!!!! (My favorite)
Meet herbivore- Stegosaurus
Herbivore attack- Microceratus (probably couldn't do much damage)

Replyx_paden_xJurassic Park ForumRaptor ProposalJun 29, 2013
They were aiming to make them scary not look like they evolved..
(Please note this, the raptors in jp 3 with the feathers were male and the white alpha was the female...)
In my sense, the raptors all started the same green creatures, but in five years they adapted, they changed to orange, (generation 6), and I guess jurassic park 3 was 5 years after that..., that would make for generation 11 , they've camouflaged much better, and have became more intelligent the previous generations,
Since it will be around 22 years after generation 1 , generation 23 will have evolved much more since we're on site a, anything could've happened to them, they could've evolved much differently then the site b raptors....
We're going to get one heck of a bombshell for jurassic park 4, with there being no feathers in jurassic park 4, ( not sure if Colin's cutting the raptor head feathers as well) were going to receive something highly unexpected

Dinosaurs much like most modern day animals, could catch diseases and sickness, it's preposterous to think they wouldn't, ill have you know ladies and gentlemen... We did at one point evolved on the same guidelines and timelines, mammals lived along side dinosaurs, (rodent sized) they caught diseases also...
In the jurassic park novel, Harding mentions that they had to immunize the dinosaurs so they wouldn't catch modern or prehistoric diseases...they would also do this in the jurassic park movie, FOR example the trike, it wasn't entirely a disease but it was a sickness, they're immune system couldn't handle the berries toxins... This would most likely happen in prehistoric times as well

I just got off the phone with him. His son got sick and is in the hospital. He's recovering, fortunately, but I wouldn't bank on seeing DF sooner rather than later. I'm assuming he's going to be paying attention to his son before JP4.

Big carnivore: Ekrixinatosaurus- couldn't decide between tyrannosaurids, carcharodontosaurids, spinosauridss and allosauridss so I chose the next biggest thing
Small carnivore: Dilophosaurus- cool looking
Ride: Deinocheirus if it is a ornithomimid. If not, then gallimimus for the speed
Eaten by: Megalodon. The deep ocean is my worst fear because of the possible giant inhabitants. if it doesn't count then Giganotosaurus.
See: Therizinosaurus- so I don't get stabbed
Skeleton: Amphicoelias- awesomely huge
Herbivore: Eotriceratops- the biggest ceratopsian because I love ceratopsians.
Attacked by: Micropachycephalosaurus- I could fight it off!

ReplyNo longer activeDinosaurs ForumCarnotaurus or Troodon?Jun 28, 2013
Carnotaurus would be cooler, but I think Troodon is "creepier" and more likely.
P.s. Do you have any news regarding DinoFights?
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumDinosaurs and DiseaseJun 28, 2013
What about em? Amphibians lead to reptiles which lead to dinosaurs. They were not direct ancestors though. Not really. I just thought of something though. Spinosaurus and it's cousins probably got a disease once and a while from the fish they ate. Unless they had a special adaptation or developed immunity, it's likely they got sick from time to time due to the mercury in the fish they ate.
ReplySpinosaurus360Dinosaurs ForumDinosaurs and DiseaseJun 28, 2013
What about amphibians? They evolved into dinosaurs.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumDinosaurs and DiseaseJun 28, 2013
They may have, but I was referring to the more serious diseases and infections. Like their decedents, birds, and their close relatives, the crocodilians, they likely had a strong immune system. Crocs and birds rarely get sick. Especially crocs. Same was probably true with dinosaurs. Only the most serious diseases probably affected them. Now, that does not mean they could not get a simple illness from time to time.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumDinosaurs and DiseaseJun 28, 2013
We have no proof that these dinosaurs didn't just catch a cold as well as truly bad sickness.

I forgot to mention why I would want to see a Triceratops. It's just a classic.
