Nice list, I'd have some changes, but as RexFan said, those are your estimations.
PS- maybe I'm going to do a top ten too...
Nah, it would be practically the same with RexFan's.

pretty good fight heck it was awesome but i think sinotyrannus should have won this won because studies on guanlong eotyrannus and other basal tyrannosaurs prove they were much more agile than later tyrannosaurs

My personal favorite pic there has got to be either the Spinosaurus or the Unnamed giant Abelisaur.

That Acro pic is pretty cool. They're all pretty cool actually.

Good list. I agree with it for the most part.

Sounds good S-Rex. It does help to have more members, and some disagreement is fun, so long as you don't go name calling anyone who disagrees with you.
ReplyGigadinoDinosaurs ForumDelta's Top Ten Biggest DinosaursNov 3, 2013
well, I'm disagree with some things, but it's your list and I respect your opinion. Hey, the Acro's pic is AWESOME :O

Just look at this, as soon as i start commenting on things there are many comments to follow. This is the most comments ive seen on any discussion since July or August. Now im not saying that I was trying to turn this into a debate, well, maybe somewhat lol, but thats what makes these discussions more interesting and more so worth commenting on. Hell, I remember when this forum ran almost purely on disagreements and debates, including much biasy. So, what im saying, there is always going to be room for some debating to keep this forum interesting and most of all fun.

Personally, I find the skulls of Giga, Rex, and Spino speak volumes about the size of the animals overall.
Spinosaurus

Spinosaurus had a skull that was long and somewhat thin, much like the rest of the animal in my book.
Giganotosaurus

Giganotosaurus had a skull that was slightly shorter than Spino\\\\\\\'s, but more robust, as was the rest of the dinosaur.
Tyrannosaurus

T-rex had a skull that might have been shorter than both Giga\\\\\\\'s and Spino\\\\\\\'s, but much heavier and more robust. T-rex was like this overall.
Hope this makes sense.

It's where I get my replicas. Pretty sure they have Utahraptor claws.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumMy Fossil Collection Nov 3, 2013
I just thought that was what it looked like. I knew I saw Rex on there.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumMy Fossil Collection Nov 3, 2013
Real Dilo tooth, any for the Utahraptor claw.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumMy Fossil Collection Nov 3, 2013
The "rock" is the bone. The place I got it from put a T-rex figure on it. Same w/ the large Meg tooth. They put a little Megalodon on it.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumDelta's Top Ten Biggest DinosaursNov 3, 2013
Its an unnamed giant Abelisaur recently found from Kenya and its about 40 feet long. No horns, so probably an Abelisaurian and not a Carnotaurian.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumMy Fossil Collection Nov 3, 2013
That's expensive. That would be cool though. The bone fragment looks like a T-Rex standing on a rock to me.
Replytyrant963Dinosaurs ForumDelta's Top Ten Biggest DinosaursNov 3, 2013
Nice list, can you tell me whats the unamed giant Abalisaur?
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumMy Fossil Collection Nov 3, 2013
I take it you mean you really want a real Dilophosaurus tooth and Utahraptor toe claw ;)
I want a T-rex tooth at least. The problem is, real teeth go for $1,000 per inch! And T-rex had teeth 6-13 inches long. Probably won't be happening anytime soon, haha

Can't wait for the last chapter. The fight looks like it'll be good.

Good. The pack mentality sounds a lot like my theory, haha
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumMy Fossil Collection Nov 3, 2013
I really wasn't a real Dilophosaurus tooth and a Utahraptor toe claw.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumDelta's Top Ten Biggest DinosaursNov 3, 2013
Nice pics, good list, nice to see its close between Rex and Giga
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumDelta's Top Ten Biggest DinosaursNov 3, 2013
Thanks, it was surprisingly easy to get them. Except T. rex there are almost not rex pics that are good. Really the on,y thing that makes Giganotosaurus heavier than T. rex is its 6 foot length difference. And 2 foot height as well. If it didn't have that, then T. rex would probably be the biggest.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumTop 10 Largest TheropodsNov 3, 2013
My personal favorite was the Acro pic. Its great. As for no longer active, well, I wouldn't go that far as to call me insane. I'm crazy, hyper, and a spaz, but not insane. Well, if you don't agree. Then that's fine. You can walk the plank!
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumMy Fossil Collection Nov 3, 2013
Well, some I found and some I bought. So it really depends on which fossil/fossils you're talking about in particular.
For example, I bought the Spinosaurus tooth at a "fossil dealer" in North Carolina, but found the whale bones in West Virginia.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumDelta's Top Ten Biggest DinosaursNov 3, 2013
Decent list. I'd switch a few around, but that's based on my estimates, not yours. Nice pics.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTop 10 Largest TheropodsNov 3, 2013
Well, frankly Spyrannosaurus, I have no intention of talking with people who call other people insane simply because they have a different opinion.
GigaDino, that's ok. I didn't agree with yours. No big deal. At least you didn't call me insane and "a bad member." Glad you like the Torvosaurus pic.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumTop 50 Longest TheropodsNov 3, 2013
Hey Gigadino, I'd love to see that paper on Sigilmassasaurus, I'm a huge fan of it. Also, I do have to agree, Deinocheirus was 40 based on my own finds as well as other people's.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTop 10 Largest TheropodsNov 3, 2013
Sorry about that, I was talking about what No longer active (I guess) had said, saying that all the "good members" bailed, and only you and S-Rex are sane.
ReplyGigadinoDinosaurs ForumTop 10 Largest TheropodsNov 3, 2013
What? I never said that RexFan or other users are insane.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumTop 10 Largest TheropodsNov 3, 2013
That's fine that you have a different opinion Gigadino, just don't say that the people who have different opinions than you are insane.
ReplyGigadinoDinosaurs ForumTop 10 Largest TheropodsNov 3, 2013
I'm a LOT disagree with this list, but hey, it's your list! Also, I like Torvosaurus pic.

Why is Ekrixinatosaurus only 9 meters when the fossils point to a size of 10-11 meters?
Since when is Megaraptor 11 meters long when it's fossil indicate a size of only 8 meters or so.
I've never seen an estimate for Sigilmassasaurus over 9 meters long, yet you have it as comparable to Carcharodontosaurus.
Deinocherius is estimated at about 9-11 meters long, yet you have it as up to 13 meters.
1. Well, it's my list, these are your own estimates :)
2. Ekrix wasn't 11 m. The 11 m estimate is based on Skorpiovenator, while based on Ekrix's more close relatives it was 7-9 m or so.
3. There's a paaper that stated that Sigilm was comparable in size with carch.
4. Deinocheirus was estimated by Mortimer at 10-13 m.
5. There isn't only A estimate for Megaraptor. The estimates ranging from 8 to 11 m.
