Well, here's my official top 10 biggest theropods. A dinosaur's position on the list is based on it's weight. Also, I can only fit so many on this list, so some dinosaurs may represent more of a size class or range. 10. Torvosaurus 30-36 ft(9-11 meters) and 2-3.5 tons 9. Saurophaganax 33-40 ft(10-12 meters) and 3-4 tons 8. Acrocanthosaurus 36-40 ft(11-12 meters) and 3.5-4.5 tons 7. Ekrixinatosaurus 33-36 ft(10-11 meters) and 4-5 tons 6. Tarbosaurus 33-40 ft(10-12 meters) and 4-6 tons 5. Mapusaurus 33-40 ft(10-12 meters) and 3.5-6.5 tons 4. Carcharodontosaurus 36-40 ft(11-12 meters) and 5-7 tons 3. Spinosaurus 46-56 ft(14-17 meters) and 5-8 tons 2. Giganotosaurus 40-46 ft(12-14 meters) and 7.5-8.5 tons 1. Tyrannosaurus 40-50 ft(12-15 meters) and 8-12 tons Like I said, it's my official top 10. Don't criticize it. I'm gonna ignore any negative comments simply because these are my opinions and they aren't changing. Just saying ;)

Yes! T.Rex is the largest! :D But really Giga is bigger than Spino? ... Are you sure? :s

Good list. I agree with it, not surprised Rex is Number 1.

Well Shambs, Giga is probably heavier at least. Spino is without a doubt the longest theropod, but I use(and professional paleontologists) use weight as the determining factor and Giga probably outweighed Spino by a little bit.

Shambs, Spino is lightly built compared to Giga. At length parity, the weight difference would be pretty noticeable.

RexFan, you already know I agree with this list, so good job. Also, last topics are full of top largest theropods. I wonder how much it will last.

It is my second. I don't want to imagine what that scared hadrosaur thinks while its head is bit by the Tarbo. Not good things though.

If dinosaurs swore, it was probably saying every curse word it could think of, haha

That's probably true. Another thing could be: Nanotyrannus attacking T-Rex chicks: Get back here you little f**** T-Rex mom: What the f*** is going on here? Sees what's happening, sees one chick wounded: You little ********************************* (one eternity later) ****** you're so f***** now. Nanotyrannus: Well f***

Mr happy, shambs is a new member so say what you do to make it sound like its your opinion, which i disagree with both yours and his comment, but of course thats just my opinion. What is the point on making so many of these? I could literally name at least 20 discussions that cover the exact same thing and a lot were made by the same person over and over agian lol

Spino Rex, be careful, that's borderline negative. Just saying. Shambs is not new by the way. He's been here longer than me I think. Anyways, I posted this since a lot of people were doing it and I figured, since the whole size debate was brought up again, I may as well get my opinion out there while it was all fresh in people's minds.

Well, he has ;) PS- I'm just saying to be careful. This post was not meant to be a debate post. Just a statement post.

I like this list i pretty much agree 100% with it the top 3 are debatable, but everyone has their theories and it is quite possible Rex and Giga could weigh more than Spino.

Thanks Eustreptospondylus :)

I don't like saying anything for sure with Spino because the evidence we still have is so fragmentary and the size estimates are always so broad like it's length is said to be 12.6 to 18 metres and weight as 7.7 to 19.0 short tons which is so broad. There is a lot of room for error there. Until we find more specimens I am a bit conservative about it's true size.

Understandable. I'm the same way(overall).

Sorry about that S-Rex, I know it's opinions, and you know it's opinions, and pretty much all the regulars know it's opinions. Shambs has been on longer than I have, so he's not new, and he's not new to the Jurassic World forums either.
