MemberAllosaurusJul-20-2022 7:40 PMThe dilophosaurus lived 193 Million BC in what was later known as Arizona. Its hypothesized to be a fish eater due to its elongated hook snout and was one of the earliest large theropods. So what happened to this majestic creature?

MemberAllosaurusJul-21-2022 2:30 AMI have been doing some researching, the dilophosaurus primarily ate fish, aquatic invertebrates, carrion, and small vertebrates.
Also I have been reading the dilophosaurus form (the crests) was present in many early jurassic theropods, I wonder if the dilophosaurus went extinct through evolving into more advanced theropods.

MemberAllosaurusJul-21-2022 2:51 AMYeah, I can see both happening. As for compeition, I think the odds were low since the Early Jurassic ecology was just recovering from the End Triassic extinction
