Dakotaraptor vs Utahraptor

A pack of four Utahraptors was heading through a forest. They were in desperate need of food, having not eaten in two weeks. Their alpha, Hawkeye, picked up a scent, before chirping to his pack-mates and leading them in its direction. They approached a clearing, with a Carcharodontosaurus feeding on a dead Eotriceratops. Hawkeye's arrogance got the best of him, as he bellowed towards the carnosaur, who swung her large head, sending him flying into a tree.

Hawkeye tanked the blow due to his robust body structure, but suffered bruised ribs. He and his pack moved out, as they heard the bellows of the Carc's mate and a Sauroniops from the forest.

Elsewhere on Isla Nublar, a pack of four Dakotaraptors were also looking for food. Deep inside a forest, they found a lone Edmontosaurus, with an injured leg. The hadrosaur had narrowly escaped a coming-of-age Tyrannosaurus rex--but hadn't escaped unscathed, as there was a gaping bite mark on her shin. The pack of four crouched down, preparing for an ambush under their leader, Eagle, a sixteen foot-long, seven foot-tall alpha-male Dakotaraptor.

He then cooed to them, giving the signal to charge. At once, the entire pack leaped out of the underbrush. They leaped onto the flanks of the Edmontosaurus, who could do nothing but bellow as they impaled their claws and teeth into her flesh. Eagle jumped onto the neck of the hadrosaur, holding on with his jaws and the massive sickle-claw on his left foot. Using the claw on his right foot, he slashed at the throat of the herbivore, severing her jugular vein. She collapsed to the ground, dead. Almost immediately, they began to eat. Eagle's mate, Hawk, was fifteen feet long and six feet tall.

The next member was Claw, nicknamed "Blue" when she was part of the Raptor Squad of Jurassic World. She had her original DNA mixed with that of a reptile, resulting in grey colouring with a blue stripe running down her body.

The final member was Falcon, who was fourteen feet long and five feet tall.

Hawkeye led his pack to the west, his mate, Slash, by his side. She was twenty-three feet long and eight feet tall, while Hawkeye was the same height and twenty-five feet long. Their two subordinates, Swipe and Red, were both six feet tall and twenty feet tall. Their olfactory bulbs picked up the scent of flesh, rotting flesh. They began to sprint, but came to a screeching stop when they saw the corpse. It was being feasted upon by four Dakotaraptors--the same pack. They walked in, alerting the other pack with a growl. Their size would be their salvation...or so they thought.

Hawkeye immediately jumped onto the side of the Edmontosaurus with an aggressive screech, attempting to assert his dominance as the Dakotaraptors stepped back, but they weren't backing down. Eagle barked to his pack, giving the signal to attack. Eagle took on Hawkeye, Hawk lunged for Slash, Claw went after Swipe, and Falcon dueled with Red. This was Dakotaraptor versus Utahraptor, a question of speed versus strength.

Falcon grappled onto Red's snout with his jaws, before shoving her down with his arms. However, the Utahraptor was far from finished, and she slashed at his flank and shin with her sickle-claw, cutting his flesh open. Falcon bellowed in pain before Red bit down on his neck while slashing at his shoulder and snout.

A lone male Dakotaraptor was wandering through the forest. He had grown up without a mother, having been separated from her as an infant. Conveniently, no predators came, and he survived. Now, he was watching the battle, catching sight of one of the female Dakotaraptors. He had not seen her in a while, and swiftly and silently approached the battle.

Swipe and Claw dueled, with the former overwhelming the female Dakotaraptor with his superior strength. However, Claw did inflict some damage on him with hit-and-run tactics, using her greater speeds. Eventually, just as she slashed at him and was preparing to run away before coming in again, Swipe bit down on her tail, slashing at her thighs. He pulled her closer as she screamed in pain, before knocking her down and keeping her pinned with his sickle-claws.

Claw believed this to be the end, when suddenly, a male Dakotaraptor appeared from seemingly nowhere and pounced upon Swipe. The female dromaeosaurid recognised her rescuer as her son, Talon. The young Dakotaraptor tugged on Swipe's neck, but he pushed him off and knocked him to the ground--only to be tossed aside by Claw. The two Dakotaraptors approached him and disemboweled him alive.

As he stood with one foot on Eagle's face, Hawkeye caught sight of Claw and Talon decimating his pack, alongside Hawk and Falcon. He was pounced by Hawk, and Eagle stood up immediately. Looking around frantically, Hawkeye saw that he and his pack had lost Swipe--and his pack always came before him. The three remaining Utahraptors were surrounded by the five Dakotaraptors. Hawkeye, despite being unwilling to risk the life of another of his pack, knew that he, Slash, and Red would have to fight their way out of this. Almost immediately, Red tackled Falcon to the ground, pinning him down by impaling her toe-claws into his stomach, ripping him open, and spilling his intestines out. She then tore out his liver, killing him.

The fight was more even now, and each pack stood shoulder-to-shoulder with each other. The four Dakotaraptors and three Utahraptors charged at each other, immediately lashing out with their claws and teeth. Hawkeye and Eagle dueled amidst the chaos, when suddenly, all seven dromaeosaurids felt the ground trembling beneath their feet. They caught sight of a tail in the treeline. Fear consumed their minds, as the owner of the tail entered the arena. It was a Tyrannosaurus rex, the same one who had injured the leg of the Edmontosaurus they were fighting over. His muscles were very defined, but his ribs were showing, for he hadn't had a good meal in a while.

The dromaeosaurs, being much quicker and more agile, immediately began to tear off what scraps they could from the already partially-eaten hadrosaur, before leaving as the rex walked in, disappointed with what he had found. Most of the torso was eaten, and there was very little left. He ate what he could, but it wasn't enough, and he returned to his pack.

Winner: Draw

The Utahraptors would've won, until the rex showed up and took the meal. Hawkeye, Slash, Red, Eagle, Hawk, Claw, and Talon will all appear in the rewritten Isla Nublar Apocalypse III since this fight had no definitive winner.
