Velociraptor vs Compsognathus

A truly epic battle, why don't we begin?

A lone female Velociraptor stumbles through the wooded forest in search of anything to eat. This female had recently layed four Eggs, due to this she was starving, and needed food quick or it could be the end.

The Velociraptors name is, "Swift." Due to her un-matched speed in the heat of battle.

Swift walks around the heavily wooded forest and looks around, she sees a knocked over hollow log, there could be bugs in their, so she decides to search through it.

Inside the log, Swift begins to lose hope as she sees nothing popping up, even the smallest worm. With this she leaves the log and decides to continue her search. A very long time ago Swift was seperated from her pack of twenty Velociraptors; in the heat of battle against a Triceratops she fell down a slippery cliff and was unable to return to her pack.

As Swift began to dwell back into the sadness of losing her pack she stopped and layed down for a moment, taking a breather. She looked up and saw a Archeopteryx, this was her chance at a meal. The Archeo lay asleep clinging on to the side of a giant fern covered in thick branches; if she can leap off of these branches she might be able to reach it, what over chances does she have?

Swift makes her move. She leaps onto the nearby fern branch, and from there she leaps onto the next, and another. Finally making it to where the Archeo was she was quiet in her moves, not wanting to awaken it.

Very slowly, Swift opened her jaws, and like lightning, grabbed the Archeopteryx in one swift move. Now finally achieving a meal Swift decided it was time to return to her nest and shelter her Eggs from predators.

Swift leaped off of the Fern tree, landed, and began running with all her speed, this was forty mph. As she was running, she looked into the sky and noticed dark storm clouds begin to cover the sky, a horrible awful storm was coming and she needed to get to her nest.

Swift finally reaches her nest, but when she does she is drastically un-pleased. A Quetzalcoatlus was eating her Eggs, all but one of them. Swift engages in combat with the Quetzalcoatlus, his name being Quazi. She attempts to bite his wing but is swatted off.

Swift watches as Quazi flies off, she then looks at her lone Egg, she will protect it with her life. The storm has quickly gotten much worse, horrid rains pour over the land, and menacing lightning terrifies all living creatures. Swift covers her Egg with all her might, even though fierce rain pours directly on her skull, that's what her feather's are for.

*Compsognathus Story*

In a heavily wooded forest, a pack of ten Compsognathus search through a forest for meat. The, "Defacto" leader of this pack is, "Refined." Refined has been the leader of the pack for quite some time now, he is experienced, but not enough it seems as the pack hasn't found a single morsel of food in one week.

Refined leads his pack through the thick forest, a horrible storm has onset and they need shelter fast; Refined takes the pack through something that he presumed a, "shortcut." Going through the shortcut the pack finds themself at a dead-end, Refined looks behind the pack to find this whole shortcut was a trap.

Staring up he sees multiple Tapejara gliding low above them, they are planning to eat them. Refined bellows to his pack to escape, but they are unable to.

Refined realizes they are boxed in by a sand mound, if they can dig under it they can escape. Using his incredible skills at digging he holler's to his pack signaling them to begin to dig. The pack digs with fierce might and force, but they were too late as the Tapejara begin to swoop down and one of them grabs a Comp.

Refined, depressed by this turn of events still signals to continue digging, and at last they dig deep enough to hide; Refined orders all the remaining members to go down into the hole and continue digging, but like a shock, the Tapejara begin to jab their mighty beaks into the hole attempting to still grab the Compsognathus.

The pack manages to escape this predicament and they dash off with immense speeds away from the trap.

Refined orders the pack to lay down for the rest of the day, as an awful storm has only gotten worse, with shocking lightning, horrific rains, and now even a Tornado. A few hours later after the pack is asleep, night-time has come, and Refined is immensely hungry. Even though it is awful to leave the pack and search for food by himself, he sets off.

Searching through the dense wood, his night vision kicks in allowing him to see through the small alcoves and trees. While he looked around, he heard the bellow of a creature, he presumed another carnivore so he got low to the ground and listened.

He inched closer to where the sound had come from until he found it, resting his head on a nearby rock he watched a lone Velociraptor leave an Egg alone. He presumed the she was leaving to find food; Refined always has heard that Velociraptor Egg's are delicious, this was the perfect, and most risky move he will have ever made.

*Final Battle*

Swift left her Egg alone as she searched for a meal, she would need it to keep her warm through this thick storm. Swift, using her night vision goes to a nearby pond and searches for a fish. She kept looking, and looking some more before finally, she sees a fish. With un-matched speeds she grabs the aquatic being straight out of the pond and engulfs it whole.

She sees another fish, but before she can grab it some un-known sense kicked into her body, a horrible feeling, her Egg was being attacked.

Swift turned around and dashed back a short distance to find her Egg missing. She looked around with her mouth agape and heart beating like lightning; using her night-vision she stared around and stared more until she saw the culprit. A Compsognathus was visciously pecking her Egg, but it was not successful. Refined began to stab his beak into the Egg, but it failed, he had no idea how tough Velociraptor Egg's were, at-least they were tough to him. Refined turned around to see pure horror in the form of a Velociraptor. Refined dropped the Egg and backed up; he watches as the Raptor takes the Egg and inserts it back into the nest.

Believing him to be free he runs away, but he was wrong. As he is running he watches the Raptor run directly in front of him, there is no escaping this battle. Swift charges at Refined and tackles him down a nearby sand mound.

The two, now covered in sand continue fighting with all their might. Swift grabs onto Refined's leg and slips him on his back, she then begins to peck his stomach creating many deep gashes. Refined kicks her off and proceeds to run away seeing it to be his only chance.

Swift follows closely, and when the time is right she pounces Refined from the high ground. Using her killer claw she stabs into Refined causing him immese pain. Refined realizing he can't escape this fight bites her neck ripping off a whole pocket worth of feathers, he then throws these feathers in her face mid-fall blinding her, and from their he bites her neck profusely.

Swift claws Refined off and the two land in an area not sheltered from the elements, they will be fighting in the rain. Refined charges Swift, clawing her stomach. Swift retaliates, leaping into the air and stabbing her mighty claw into Refined's back. Refined, near death begins to run away. He escapes into a nearby log that leads back into the forest.

Swift, unable to go under such a small log leaps over it and follows him from high ground. When Refined reaches the end of the tunnel he sees Swift land right in front of him. Refined prepares for the end, but it doesn't come, he looks up to see Swift staring at something behind him; Refined turns around to see an unstoppable Tornado extremely close to the them, the two begin to run.

Swift and Refined dash off with immense speeds as the Tornado has reached the Forest, running underneath very small logs and leaping over thick pine branches the two reach a giant 30 foot sand mound blocking there path.

With no over way around, the two begin to dig ferociously with all of their might. As they're digging Refined looks behind them to see the Tornado nearly at them, the unstoppable winds begin to reach them and Swift begins to get sucked back, but she fights against it and continues digging.

The two finally dig a deep enough hole and barricade them-selves inside the underground system. Refined and Swift directly next to each other stare with malicious intent. Swift, easily able to kill Refined right here and now decides not to.

The two stay underground for awhile awaiting the Tornado to leave the viscinity; Swift hears nothing more coming from above and she decides to begin digging up.

When she finally gets up she sees it's day time, yet the storm has not left and the Tornado is still in the visible distance.

Swift realizes, the Tornado is heading towards where her Egg is she can't allow it to get to the Egg, so she set's off! Refined follows her for some reason, not even I know why.

Swift veers to the left trying to sneak around the Tornado, as it's thinner then it is wide, but the winds are still tremendous.

Swift finally escapes around the Tornado, she is now infront of it and heading towards her Egg. Swift finally reaches the Egg, she lifts the Egg up and begins to run away with it, yet Refined is still following her. As Swift is running she looks back at the Tornado. She sees something fly off of it, a piece of rubble. Swift is smacked in the face by this hurling piece of rubble, nearly knocking her out.

As Swift is nearly dead she stares up to see her Egg rolling away, she begins to crawl towards the Egg but is stopped in her tracks. Refined stomps his foot directly on Swift's back, realizing he can't pass up this meal, he then gives a menacing grin before he prepares to finish her with a bite to the neck.

Swift still does not give up, using what's left of her strength she kicks Refined off. Refined now furious leaps into mid-air to finish her off with the sheer force. Swift looks at Refined, as he jumps however, a Hatzegopteryx dives directly down swooping Refined up in his mighty beak.

Swift watches as Refined is eaten whole by the Hatzegopteryx; Swift using what's left of her ability's stands up and stumbles towards her Egg, she grabs it, and begins to run to the right away from the Tornados destruction path.

Swift finally makes it away from the Tornado, now safe she creates a make-shift nest and leaves the Egg there. She covers the Egg with her arms and takes a breather, but it seems like she can't get that, as the Egg begins to shake.

Swift stands up and watches as her baby burst's through the Egg; a new Velociraptor is born into the world, and Swift will use all her power to raise it.
