Well, After reading Rex Fans Disscussion about the Carnegie Museum, I felt like I should do Just for this one.

Theres a chance this could turn into a series, Who knows.

For the longest time, As a little kid, I can always remember my Visits to one museum in Particular. Which Museum might that be? The Royal Tyrell Museum In Drumheller Alberta. Now, The Tyrell has always held a spot in my heart, Being one of the handful of museums I've ever been to, Aswell as being the largest Dinosaur Museum in the World, It's one of Alberta's Crown Jewels.

It's also held some importantce to me, Because It's only About an Hour away, But is worth the wait.

Theres Many reasons to Visit the Tyrell, Besides the one I priorly listed.

If you've ever been there, How could you possibly forget that GIANORMUS Rex in front of the Hockey arena, Just begging for you to climb it. The Entire Town Is Dinosaur themed... IT'S COMPLETELY NUTS.

If you ever get a chance to even go through the town, Take it. It's a huge thing as a Dinosaur fan to go there. You won't regret it.

Before I begin showing you pictures, Let me explain a little on it's location.

The Tyrell is in a valley, aswell so is all of drumheller.

If your driving in (I don't think you can fly in... But I do believe there is an small airport there.)

There's only the Highway that goes through the town, Drumheller is located right in the BadLands, So as you begin driving in, The farmers fields slowly begin to change, Almost as if, Your being teleported, Back in time.

Then, As if you missed it by blinking, Your in the valley, If you brought an Electronic, You've most likely turned it off, and you're now looking out the window.

You enter a world, That looks like A normal town, Except there is a Scale model Dinosaur on almost every street corner.

*Even if you can never go, Please go and look at it from google earths...

When you finally get to the museum, There's not a whole lot. A few Life scale Dinosaurs stand near where you park. There about it. Then you look at the museum.

It's an Iconic build that would Rival the Famous Jurassic Park Visitor Center. You stand in Awe. There is very little activity of people entering and leaving. You enter the building, Waiting to see what's inside.

*Thats a true fact. The tyrell is one of the biggest baddest, Best Dinosaur museums I've ever been to, But, It doesn't get the Plublicity it Should. Unless it's a big holiday, Or their doing something.

*This is the view from a short hike up a Hill with something like 250 steps. It's worth it... I decided to roll down the hill instead of walking back down. Turns out, Rocks hurt.

*This si the Display you're welcomed by after entering.

*After the Initail Prehistoric Scene set up when you walk through the second set of doors, Your greated by Black Beauty, Who, If you don't pay attetion, You walk right by.

*Couldn't find any pictures of the displays around Black Beauty, So I'll move on to the next room. This Champ Right here, Stretches from one end of it's room, All the way to the other.

**I've forgotten the orientation of the Museum Itself... Here, have a bunch of Pictures from wherever inside of the museum.

*Each part of the Museum, Is dedicated to something, This is the tunnel into the Water section.

*There's also a Skeleton of a Prehistoric whale in there some where...

Now...

I can't show you the whole museum, As, That'd ruin it if you ever wanted to go there...

*The dinosaur infront of the Arena... If you go to the top, WHich is inside of it's mouth, as shake, you could probably break it...

There's so much more.

But that, Is something you must see for your own eyes.

Museum Rating: 10/10

*The tyrell has a really big storage for it's Bones and such aswell. It's all housed in the same building. If I remember correctly, They still hold the Rex bone that had Bone marrow in it, Inspiring bits for Jurassic park.

Pretty sweet looking museum. I already like it better than the one in Toronto Ontario. Don't they also have a massive Albertosaurus exhibit?

That is so cool. My favorite museum isn't close to the quality of this museum. If I ever go to Alberta I will must definitely go there.

If only it was that easy. I probably won't be going to either until I can afford to go myself.

At least the Royal Tyrrell is in Canada. You'd need a passport now to go see the Carnegie.

I know. At least driving to Alberta ($500 for one plane ticket for a family vs $500 in gas both ways, and I've got my own car then) would go through Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta would be a nice drive. Nice and flat, good a place as any to go all out with something, see how fast the car goes.

I kid you not, Alberta's full of hills...

But, That would sound like something interesting, A "Museum Exchange"...

I've never been to an American Palaeontolgy Museum, I really want to, Just to compare...

I went to one in Italia, It was really small,  It was just the base of an Apartment, It was Impressive, But small.

I went there a long time ago and it was one of the best times of my life ranking about the same as the time I saw the Walking With Dinosaurs Live Arena Spectacular.
