Tarbosaurus
The individual in this fight is a five ton female. She's experienced, and she's got a hatchling with her.
Torvosaurus
The individual in this battle is a five ton female. She has some experience, and she has a hatchling with her.
Begin!
The Tarbosaurus is eating from a carcass. She had hidden her chick in the roots of a large tree before she attacked, and her chick was making his way to the kill. She left most of the choice cuts for the youngster, but, as she always does, she ate the liver before he arrived. The hatchling started eating, and there was a roar. It came from the direction of the tree, and the Tarbosaurus turned around.
The Torvosaurus was walking toward the Tarbosaurus. She was hungry, and she wanted the carcass. She had hidden her hatchling in the tree roots, and she hadn't spotted the young Tarbosaurus. The mother Tarbosaurus roared as she stepped forward, and the Torvosaurus lunged. The Tarbosaurus sidestepped, and they started walking in circles. The Tarbosaurus looked past the Torvosaurus, and she saw her chick hide in the tree roots. Now she could kill the Torvosaurus without having to keep an eye on her chick.
Both predators roared at each other again, and neither backed down. The Torvosaurus charged, and the Tarbosaurus shoulder checked her. The Torvosaurus bounced back, and the Tarbosaurus charged. The Torvosaurus ducked, and the Tarbosaurus kneed her in the head. The Torvosaurus shook her head, and the Tarbosaurus lunged for her neck. The Tarbosaurus bit the Torvosaurus's neck and started pushing her. The Torvosaurus tried to free herself, but the Tarbosaurus's grip was too strong.
The Tarbosaurus let go of the Torvosaurus, and she looked at her for a moment. The Torvosaurus stood up slowly, and when she was almost on her feet, the Tarbosaurus pushed her down. The Torvosaurus hissed in anger as she stood up again, and the Tarbosaurus pushed her down again. The Torvosaurus didn't make a sound, but she slowly rose again. When the Torvosaurus was close to the point where the Tarbosaurus would push her back down, she lunged.
The Tarbosaurus didn't have time to blink as her legs were pulled from under her and she hit the ground. The landing broke several ribs, winded her, and gave the Torvosaurus more than enough time to get up. The Tarbosaurus struggled to her feet, and the Torvosaurus pushed her back down. The Tarbosaurus looked up at her opponent and flashed her teeth. The Tarbosaurus tried to stand again, and the Torvosaurus tried to push her back down. The Tarbosaurus turned and bit her head. The Torvosaurus roared in pain and tried to free herself, but the Tarbosaurus's grip was too strong.
Meanwhile, the young Tarbosaurus had discovered the young Torvosaurus. Both were about the same size, and neither was sure what to do. They sniffed each other, but otherwise did nothing. They were still trying to figure out what to do when the ground shook. Both went outside, and both fighters were on the ground.
The Tarbosaurus and Torvosaurus started standing at the same time. Both were dizzy, and neither was sure where they were. The Tarbosaurus came to her senses first, and she quickly saw the juveniles. She walked over and sniffed both. She was deciding to do when the Torvosaurus came back to her senses. The Torvosaurus roared, and the Tarbosaurus roared back. The hatchlings huddled together in fear, and their mothers saw.
Both females calmed down. They were both curious about the youngsters, but both quickly got up and stood by their mother's side. The females roared again, ready to finish the fight and eliminate future competition. What they didn't know, was that a large female Tyrannosaurus Rex had the same idea. There was a roar unlike anything the predators had heard, and they looked in the direction it came from. The Tyrannosaurus stepped into the clearing, and she was followed by two smaller Tyrannosaurs, about the size of the Tarbosaurus, and three other Tyrannosaurs. Those three were hatchlings. The female and adolescents roared again, and the Torvosaurus ran off with her hatchling in her mouth. The Tarbosaurus did the same.
The Tyrannosaurus family walked to the kill, and before either adolescent went for it, the female blocked their path. The hatchlings walked between their mother's legs and started eating. A large male Tyrannosaurus limped into the clearing a short time later. His leg had been fractured in a fight against another predator. The female was very aware of the fact that she had saved her mate, but she didn't like thinking about the incident. None of the family did.
Winner..... Draw
Evenly matched, same motivation, the fight could have gone to either.
So, anyone interested in seeing what happened to the male Tyrannosaurus? If you are, what would you like to see him square off against? All reasonable requests will be considered.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 2:51 PMThanks.
I figured people would want to see what happened to him. Expect the fight sometime in September.
I'm going to make a quick edit asking what his opponent should be.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 2:57 PMActually, this has nothing to do with Rex Fan's series. Like I said, make a request for his opponent, and if it's reasonable, it'll be considered.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 3:00 PMI'll consider it. May be a pair or trio, but I'll consider it. When I say anything reasonable, I mean anything, including S.

MemberCompsognathusAug-11-2014 3:02 PMS wouldn't be a good idea. You saw what happen with the Spinosaurus topic you did. Not that it was your fault that it spewed out of control.
@Predator X,
Carno would be a good choice to explain the broken leg. Also I like Carno.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 3:03 PMI'll consider it. I did say it would be a pair or trio if it was Carno.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 3:06 PMIf it was S, I'd give it until October. I've got other things too though, such as that brawl I need to post.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 3:10 PMYou guys do realize that this is essentially voting to see who beats Rex, right? Yes, I'd be willing to have a trio of Carno beat him, yes, I'd be willing to have Spino beat him.

About a Carno trio having no chance, remember, this is the JP universe, where Carnotaurus has camouflage abilities.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 3:39 PMBecause I haven't used them yet in a fight. It'll be fun. I'll have the regular combatant description for Rex, then, instead of stating his opponent, I'll give a list of possible opponents, as well as an individual description for them all. You won't know his opponent until the fight begins.

MemberCompsognathusAug-11-2014 4:05 PMT. rex vs. Omeiasaurus. IMO, this should be what happened to the rex.
Also, is S the he-who-shall-not-be-named of this site now?

MemberTyrannosaurus RexAug-11-2014 4:09 PMI'd prefer something not a sauropod. If you ask me, sauropod battles get real repetitive real quick. Carnivore jumps, slashes and holds on, Sauropod shakes carnivore off, repeat until carnivore does from tail smack or gets stomped on, or until Sauropod dies of blood loss.
