Megalodon (big-tooth)

disadvantages: less agile and exposed parts of the body, gills and nose.
Tylosaurus
Lenght: 15m

disadvantages: had to returen to the surface to breathe, was much smaller, had a weaker bite force and was much less robust and powerfull.
Lighting split the sky as thunderous waves crashed down atop the stirring oceans. A female tylosaurus swam deep and fast searching for food, the ravaging seas above were not helping. She then flipped over and scanned the deep murky depths and saw a huge figure, shaped like a shark. She hesitated, but extreme hunger drove her on to her possible death.
As the tylosaur came closer and closer she gasped, a male megalodon, 16m and around 50 tons she was clearly outclassed. She started to back away when her stomach gave a relentless rumble. She mirrored him from above and dived, the oblivious megalodon was caught off guard. The tylosaurus razor sharp teeth ripped of her dorsal fin, and the megalodon tried to shake free. Finally he bolted of and circled around, they were eye to eye. The charged, the murky depths swirling around them and they collided, the impact sent the tylosaurus tumbling around. The megalodon, using his powerful tail swam forward and grasped one of the flippers. He shook vigorously as the front flipper came clean off, and the wailing tylosaurus limped away and circled. She slammed her head down on to the megalodon who was stunned, and she swam away circling back around again, both eager to finish this now.
They charged again but at the last second the tylosaurus luckily buckled right and caught ahold of the megalodon’s nose, who was shaking vigorously trying to get away. The mega shark was stunned, and the tylosaur then dived down and rushed upwards ripping of the megalodon’s fin and ravaging his soft gills. The bloody 50 ton beast sank down in the depths like a stone.
The tylosaurus, victorious, was about to dive down to feast on his dead meal when she had the urge to breath. She realized how exhausted she was and swam to the surface, bleeding heavily leaving a crimson trail. She broke the surface and flipped, as she was about to come splashing down a huge shape emerged from the depths. The male megalodon was back, he sprung out and crushed the shrieking tylosaur and they slammed back in to the raging ocean. The huge shark shook the trembling mosasaur and ripped out a huge piece, guts and entrails fell out tumbling in to the depths at last.
Winner: Megalodon
Why? The megalodon was much bigger, more robust, heavier, and a much more powerful bite and most importantly could stay in the water indefinitely. The mosasaurus had to come up and breathe fresh air, and that’s when the shark finished her of.
