Story of a Superpredator: Chapter 8- Settling a Rivalry

     Night charged the Tyrannotitan. His Triceratops horns landed straight into the Tyrannotitan's side. Night slammed the Tyrannotitan into the trench wall. Then, he pulled his horns out and bit the Tyrannotitan in the neck. He jabbed his claws deep into the Tyrannotitan's skin and kicked it. Soon, the Tyrannotitan was brought to the ground.

     Night remembered all the wounds and suffering he had obtained at the hands of the Tyrannotitan. He placed his foot on the Tyrannotitan's head, and the creature looked up at him, seemingly begging for mercy. Night looked at the larger carnivore and growled. He wouldn't fall for any tricks. Night used his foot claws and slashed down the Tyrannotitan's head. Then, he bit the creature's neck and twisted. When he heard a loud snap, he stopped. The head and neck fell to the ground. The Tyrannotitan was dead. Finally, after all the bad things at the creature's hands, Night had his revenge.

     He let out a loud roar of victory, and then rushed over to Blaze. He nudged her with his snout. Nothing happened. He gently scratched her with his claws. Again, nothing happened. Then, he put his ear to her chest. He heard nothing. Suddenly, he felt a quiet, faint thump. After a few seconds, he felt another one, but slightly louder and stronger. After a couple seconds, another. Then, she started to move. Night helped her up, and the two went over tho the Tyrannotitan carcass. They picked it up, and threw it over the side of the hill. The carcass rolled down the hill, and then the Megarex picked it up and carried it away.

     Everything was peaceful again. The valley was safe from the evil creature. Night had done it. The Tyrannotitan was gone forever. He happily sighed, and rested. He was finally at peace.

     A couple months later, Night and Blaze looked into their nest. The eggs were moving. Suddenly, they started to crack. Then, out of one egg, a tiny snout pointed out of the shell.
