The Adventures of Tom: Chapter 2: Back at Area-401

Okay, here is chapter 2. As I said, this part is much more "darker" than the last. HOpe you guys enjoy.

THE ADVENTURES OF TOM: CHAPTER 2: BACK AT AREA-401

Some miles away from Tom was Gary, walking back to Area-401. He felt dizzy, painful, and confused. His friend, well sort of, had just died, his hand was bitten off, and he had failed his mission, and had some losses. He knew he was in big trouble with the boss.

But right now was important to get medical treatment. After all, the only thing to stop him from bleeding was ripping off his shirt and wrapping it around his wound. He took off Derek’s shirt and wrapped it around his severed hand just in case somehow they would be able to put it back. Even if they weren’t able to, he’d still be able to get a full-action prosthetic hand. He then started thinking of a lot of things…

He remembered his father… That dirty old son of a b*tch he thought… same with his good-for-nothing mother… He could never forget…

How could he?

He was born May 4th, about 19 years ago…

His father had been with his mom. One day, his mom got pregnant. His dad told his mom to get rid of the baby. The mom concurred, and she happily went to a clinic, to just kill him.

He looked at his pocket, which contained respirator to help with his asthma.

He had barely survived the abortion. He was rescued by one of the nurses and treated carefully for the next few weeks. He grew up very happy… But then he accidentally found out about the truth…

Why had his parents not wanted him? He couldn’t help but to start crying. Once he found out about the truth. He was only about 14 at the time… He looked in the records…

His father and mother were named Joen and Robert. The names disgusted him. He went out to find them… To just let them know what pain they were causing him for the rest of his life… The fact that he was unwanted in this world before he was even brought into it…

The dad was already married to someone else. He went up to the house. The dad was covered in Tattoos and just like an immoral person, just worthless. Gary also saw that his dad was addicted to drugs. The dad was even smoking when he walked in. Gary straight up told him about who he was.

What the dad said next made Gary so mad that every time he just merely thought about it he felt like breaking something.

“Them dumb nurses failed their jobs, why when I get a hold of them- ” Said Robert before he was interrupted when he was getting repeatedly fist-punched by Gary.

Gary was yelling and calling his dad a bunch of cuss words, he was using all the words he knew at his father. Then Robert’s wife came in and started crying. He saw that the wife was abused by Robert.

He was distracted, he began to look at Robert’s wife. She looked like her life was ruined by Robert.

However, he made the mistake of looking away too long. His dad punched him in the face. The dad reached for a gun and was ready to shoot Tom, when the wife jumped at him, shouting “noo!!!” And then he started fighting with her. Tom reached for the chair next to him and hit Robert with it. For some reason, maybe it was from drug use and too much stress, his heart stopped, and Robert fell to the floor.

Robert’s wife looked at Gary in terror.

“I… I… I didn’t… I didn’t mean to kill him!!!!” Shouted Gary.

Gary had no idea what to do, so he just ran off, not even bothering to see his mom.

He became an outcast for a few years… Each day he hoped that he still had innocence inside him…

Eventually he was caught, but the police officer who was questioning him felt sorry for Gary, and offered him a new life, a new start… A fresh start…

He always lived with the fact that he killed someone… And today he was experiencing sort of the same feeling… What he thought had been a new beginning, was now an old never-ending ending…

He felt that he was responsible for the death of two people now… The last thing he had called Derek was an idiot…

He arrived at the front step of the building. The door opened, and they were ready to treat to his wounds.

The boss was there.

“I’ll ask questions later, but just tell me, results?” Asked the boss.

By results the boss asked what had happened.

“Levy dead, Tom escaped, Derek… Dead… and me wounded.” Said Gary lightly.

The boss rolled his eyes.

Gary felt a needle inserted in his arm, and he was now sleeping.
