Alioramus vs. Irritator

Alioramus' mainly hunt small ceratopsians like Protoceratops and small carnoivores that they can easily overpower. They are very careful and only attack animals smaller, or their size. When challenged by larger carnivores they give up without a fight. But when challenged by animals of their own size they can be very ferocious.

Irritator Challengeri

Irritators are often fishing at the river. During dry seasons they are scavengers. They have a small sail which helps them to stay warm when standing in a river and keeps them cool during the hot droughts. Due to their small size their fish are often stolen by other, larger, Spinosaurids. They are peaceful most of the time. Larger and more aggressive Spinosaurs like Spinosaurus, Oxalaia or Suchomimus, sometimes kill them, because they are too small to fight back and a drain to their resources.

Fight!

A young male Alioramus is going along the border of his territory to see if there are any other predators nearby. His territory is in the middle of an oasis. He was very lucky that no larger carnivores had found that spot before him. It was originally the territory of a small pack composing of 3 Troodons. He and his mate easily killed two of them and the third ran away.

The oasis is on the southern part of the island. There is a small mountain range to the north, which is why no large carnivores had found the oasis yet, they prefer the northern part of Isla Pelea for some reason and never bothered to go around the mountain range.

The Alioramus didn't see anything so he reared his head up to check if he can smell any predators. Before he could do so, he noticed some splashing coming from the center of the oasis. He slowly walked over to it. When he reached it he was very surprised to find an Irritator. It was feasting on a Strunius. It appeared to had been driven off by something else from it's usual fishing place and so it randomly found this oasis.

The Alioramus roared at it, to get it's attention and to clarify that this was his territory. The Irritator looked up and saw the Alioramus, he noticed that his opponent was slightly shorter, but he was built more robust and they probably weighed about the same. But the Irritator didn't fear the Alioramus and he didn't want to lose out on this perfect territory, so he accepted the challenge of the Alioramus by roaring back at it.

The Irritator had already figured out a plan. he wanted to lure the Alioramus into the water and then drown him. The Alioramus didn't have any plan whatsoever, so he ran forward and then stopped in front of the Irritator. The piscivore was fooled by the bait and snapped his jaws at where his adversary should be. Meanwhile the Alioramus had already side stepped out of the way. The Irritator had just enough time to turn his head around and look at the tyrannosaur as it was jumping on to him.

The Irritator couldn't support the weight of the Alioramus and fell down. The Alioramus bit the neck of the Irritator and started shaking it. Luckily the Irritator kicked him away before it could cause serious damage. The Alioramus landed about 4 feet away from the Irritator. They both regained their footing at the same time. The Irritator's neck was bleeding and hurt a lot and the Alioramus felt a bad pain in his chest, the kick had broken some ribs.

They were both hurt and would've normally given up, but the Irritator would starve soon because it wouldn't be able to find another fishing opportunity fast enough and the Alioramus had to protect his territory, his mate and their clutch of 3 eggs.

The Irritator charged at the Alioramus, which then side stepped. The Irritator had already expected that and slashed at the chest of the Alioramus. The Alioramus screeched in pain as he used his head as a club. Smacking it at the Irritator's face. They were both hurt even more, The Alioramus was breathing heavily and the Irritator had some teeth missing and his neck had deep wounds.

The Irritator was in a better condition and rammed the Alioramus head on. The Alioramus tried to dodge, but he was too slow. The Alioramus crashed down and the Irritator walked towards him, he stomped on the body of the Alioramus, breaking even more bones with his weight, and was about to thrust his large claws into the neck of the Alioramus. But then something hit him like a train, the mate of the Alioramus came to help him.

She rushed at the confused Irritator. It avoided the attack and decided to make a run for it. But as it turned around the male Alioramus was already standing in front of him, hissing. The Irritator could already imagine what would happen next and then the female Alioramus ran towards the Irritator and bit down on his neck as strong as she could. The lifeless body fell down and the Alioramus pair roared in unison.

Winner: Alioramus Remotus

I know that i said that both Tyrannosaurs will be taken out by Spinosaurs, but keep in mind that i've laso mentioned how bad my memory is. Always keep in mind that i'm only showing one of the ways tnat these fights could end.
