MemberCompsognathusFeb-24-2014 4:50 AMThis one turned out a bit different, it's less of a fight and more of a short story. Tell me if you liked it.
Aucasaurus vs. Megalosaurus
Aucasaurus Garridoi
Length: 20 feet (6 meters)
Weight: 1 ton
Era: Late Cretaceous
Location: South America
Aucasaurus is a pack hunter. They have very robust and strong jaws, but their arms are pseudo-vestigial. Due to their long legs they are very fast for an animal of that size. They are often seen hunting Saltasaurs and other similarly sized Titanosaurs. Even though they're a lot smaller than most other Abelisaurids they are just as vicious and will attack almost anything, even their own kind.
Megalosaurus Bucklandii
Length: 33 feet (10 meters)
Weight: 2 tons
Era: Middle-Late Jurassic
Location: Europe
It has somewhat short, but strong arms with sharp, hooklike claws on three fingers, perfectly designed for gripping onto prey and slashing at it. It also has long, powerful hindlegs, good for chasing down prey. Its tail, like most other theropods, is built to help balance it while moving. It has a long, narrow skull with sharp, bladelike teeth for slicing through the flesh of other creatures.
Fight!
An old female Aucasaurus and her little chick are wandering through a lush forest. The female is breathing heavily. She has some bite marks on her snout, but they are only minor wounds and it looks like she has blood on her teeth. They stop at a river to drink some fresh water. The little one has some trouble because the river bed is a bit too steep for it.
The mother jerks her head up, she sniffs the air and then she stands up. The tensity is rising. Movement. A small bush is shaking. Her chick is still trying to drink some water without falling into the river. Suddenly, a loud roar.
A Megalosaurus rushes out of the thick forest, shuts it's jaws around the little chick and runs back into the forest. The Aucasaurus is staring traumatized at where her chick was standing a couple of seconds ago. A little drop of water runs down her face. It hits a small bit of blood. Another water droplet falls down and splashes into a million pieces, the Aucasaurus looks up, expecting to see rain. It's not raining.
The Aucasaurus slowly looks back to where her chick was killed. Then she turns her head towards where the Megalosaurus ran off to.She slowly starts walking, with every step she get's faster and faster until she is running at full speed. Then she sees a distant figure, it's a bit larger than her and it seems to be eating something, something small.
She is running towards it and then she hears something terrible.
A squeal of pain, agony and distress and then, a loud crunch, with it the squealing stops. The Aucasaurus stops dead in her tracks.
Then she starts breathing heavily, she's breathing faster and faster until she starts running at the distant figure again, roaring as loud as she can, it can be heard for miles.
The Megalosaurus turns around and before he even realises what he's gotten himself into the Aucasaurus has knocked him over.
She jumps on the larger Megalosaurus and bites his neck. The Megalosaurus manages to swat her away with his large arm. She now has three large, bleeding marks on her snout. She shakes the blood out of her eyes and, ignoring the pain, attacks the Megalosaurus again. This time she was too slow and the Megalosaurus bites her chest, but he doesn't get a good grip and only manages to rip off one of her arms.
She doesn't even notice that her arm is missing and charges into the Megalosaurus again. Knocking it off balance, but not knocking it over. The Megalosaurus tries to jump on the Aucasaurus and crush her under his weight, but she easily avoids the attack and now proceeds to go for his throat. The Megalosaurus tries to kick her away but she is already out of range. He then uses his arms as a shield to buy some more time, but the angry mother shreds throught them as if they were nothing. With no means of protection left the Megalosaurus is doomed. She rakes her foot along his chest, over and over. The Megalosaurus is still alive but he is too weak too fight back, after the Aucasaurus is finshed with him, she lies down next to the Megalosaurus, which is still alive.
After a couple of minutes the Megalosaurus dies painfully off blood loss, while the Aucasaurus was watching.
Winner: Aucasaurus Garridoi

MemberCompsognathusFeb-24-2014 7:19 AMI'm not so sure about it, it feels like there is too much story and not enough fighting. But if you like it.

MemberCompsognathusFeb-24-2014 11:23 AMI like this a lot. Like me styling my fights in a story/docu format, it gives a certain feel to your story. It's different and unique. Keep it up!
