MemberCompsognathusJan-03-2014 8:40 AMI am brazilian, I know a website called InGen Archive, of 2004. There I found very interesting for a new park and want to know what you think. Here they are https://sites.google.com/site/arquivoingen/historia and https://sites.google.com/site/arquivoingen/complexo-las-tres-hermanas. I'II translate the Project Jurassic Park 2 of first link:
PROJECT JURASSIC PARK ll
Years after bankruptcy, InGen seems to be returning to active. Recently the company publicly announced that it is caught up in an ambitious project that has connections to Jurassic Park.
But as this new project began, the InGen was totally bankrupt? Or was he not? well.. Secrets to be revealed...
Shortly after the accident on Isla Nublar, a billionaire mega-businessman contacted John Hammond giving him a proposed investment of $ 3 billion to build a new park, but Hammond consented to what happened in the park refused the proposal. The mega-businessman, secretly convinced investors, directors and scientists InGen to accept your proposal and create this new park. But because this billionaire learned about research and abou what happened in Jurassic Park?
This became apparent when it was discovered who this great investor. His name was in absolute secrecy, but now nothing is a secret anymore... Willian Graytes, this is the name of the investor. Hammond friend and mega-entrepreneur in the computer business childhood, he knew all about the park and about the research of InGen, Hammond himself because by having more blind trust in him, told him everything.
As neither Hammond nor members of his family into the InGen nor anyone else connected directly to him or his family knew this project, the secret was kept and followed his InGen two paths, one that everyone knows and that led to bankruptcy and alleged one that will have your details now revealed...
Graytes had only one requirement for the project to be carried out. It wanted new dinosaurs were produced, which was not used only species in the previous park. But how to do this without calling the world's attention as when InGen began buying amber and fossils of all possible locations? well it was not necessary because the DNA of these animals had been found, he just was not used before, because as Nublar and Isla Sorna already had dozens of different species, the ablity to maintain the same was already reaching its limit.
So began the project... First InGen leased a set of 3 sisters islands that are within 158 km of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna of 200 km, called Las Tres Hermanas. Soon after lease has begun the construction of the complex necessary for the operations of the park. Then after they run at full speed, in 2001 all facilities were ready, the same year that the animals would be the park's attractions were started to be produced.
For all this work has been completed so quickly, the 3 billion invested were well used. Thousands of builders worked day and night so that the physical facilities stay ready ASAP. It was also used GWIN 7-3 , the most modern supercomputers produced by the company Graytes, 15 of the new gene sequencers and a super-computer network linking InGen headquarters to the new facility, was created especially for you everything was kept on the absolute control.
From 2001 until 2004, nothing very important, in addition to the necessary maintenance on computer systems and internal network as done. this time was mainly used for the dinosaurs to grow and reach the largest possible sizes. many new employees were hired, new changes in genes and new security measures and population control dinosaurs were taken. Among them we can mention:
Acceleration of development was increased in the new large sauropods, much more than in other animals, decreasing the time elapsed until adulthood. As new animals are much larger than those created on Isla Sorna, growing faster the enormous size of these gigantic animals could be observed by visitors in a space of time much less than if it had been used only to measures of previous research;
Adding DNA from other species to fill the gaps in damaged "fossilized" DNA, but this time only the DNA of more akin to the animal species created was used;
This time it was not inserted "Lisine Contingency" in the genes of animals. Now it is known that it is flawed. But in 1995 there was only a suspicion that, but it was confirmed in 1997 when Ian Malcolm, Sarah Harding and his team were on Isla Sorna. The animals remained alive and healthy, because even if they could not produce lysine, herbivores have become accustomed to eating plants rich in lysine as wheat and as carnivores feed on herbivores, the cycle continued. Instead of "Lysine Contingency", a new feature was used, so called "Conus Appeal". In all new animals created a capsule containing the venom of Conus purpurascens, was inserted into specific regions of their bodies, regions with good blood circulation. This feature was used because if an animal to go beyond a radius of 3 km around the islands, these capsules that are connected via radio waves to the control center of the park is open, thus releasing the poison and killing the animal immediately;
Control chromosomes for the exclusive production of females was also not used. Because it is also flawed, as explained above. In the new park there females and males, but sterilization surgeries were performed. With the existence of males and females, scientists can observe the rituals of courtship and breeding of new dinosaurs, but without any unauthorized births in the park. To avoid the typical effect of sterilization, such as lack of sexual appetite and excessive weight gain, which could adversely affect behavioral observations, controlled doses of hormones are administered in adult specimens, inserted through medicines in food.
In 2005, the Jurassic Park ll went into operation.

MemberCompsognathusJan-03-2014 12:10 PMHmmm, Very interesting, I wouldnt be suprised if this was the given for the movie... However, theres a certain, Fan fitcion feel to this idea, its to perfected... its too much of an alternate universe... But hey, who am i to judge...
Thanks for sharing, I'll browse through that site a bit more....

MemberCompsognathusJan-05-2014 9:31 AMI've been thinking how we have a new park in JW. Perhaps this idea of high technology, increased security and absolute control can convise the government, i find it very difficult but you know, we are no longer in 1993.
