FIGHT!
A deep roar echoes through the air on Isla Sorna as a Spinosaurus chases an Achillobator family out of his beach territory. The ridge backed giant catches a young member of their pack and stabs it with his enormous claws in a gruesome act. The smaller animal squirms and squeals as the Spinosaurus shreds it. Its parents, knowing not even they could stop the carnage, watch helplessly in horror, too stunned at the loss of him to move. The Spinosaurus has just begun to eat the Achillobator's mangled remains when its sister calls out.The giant lifts his bloody snout and starts moving towards the family again with a hiss. Being far faster and more agile, the speedy Achillobator sprint away from the beach and run for their lives, heading through the jungles. While they maneuver the maze of tall trees in lightning quick zig zag patterns and high jumps, they still are having trouble outrunning the monster behind them, which is simply smashing trees down.
Eventually the Spinosaurus starts to tire, letting the Achillobator ease up as well and they are still ahead of him by a good distance. The youngest pack member looks back and makes a fatal mistake in doing so. She trips and tumbles, allowing the Spinosaurus to catch her tail with its enormous jaws. The parents aren't willing to sacrifice both of their offspring. The male runs forwards and flies through the air in a leap of faith. He hits the Spinosaurus' face and attacks it with all of his weapons, still only barely breaking through the thick scutes covering the giant. The Spinosaurus slaps the Achillobator away and it hits a log. The female jumps as well but the deceptively agile Spinosaurus swats her away with its massive hand. She too bounces off the log.... The unusually scaly log. It begins to move and the pair are shaken off. Desperately trying to wake her mate, the Achillobator fails to realize that the "log" was in fact a tail, and the boulder by it was the cumbersome body of the tyrant lizard king. The king of the forests wakes from his slumber as the two Achillobator flee, their injured young in tow. The Spinosaurus stands there and darkens his ridge from storm grey to a coal black, highlighting the pale white rings on it. His black crocodilian-like body glistens as rain starts to fall and the forest goes silent, apart from the rumbling of the standing Tyrannosaurus. The tyrant turns and looks at his foe. They stand in silence. Pharaoh and king. The Tyrannosaurus with condescending eyes, the Spinosaurus with an icy glare. Suddenly, the high pitched roar of the Tyrannosaurus and the deep baritone shriek of the Spinosaurus shatter the tense silence as the two face off. As the mood darkens, black clouds roll over the sky and the rain falls heavier. The Spinosaurus rears up and turns, swiping at the Tyrannosaurus with his deadly keratin sheathed sickles. The tyrant ducks and dashes forwards, hitting the Spinosaurus in the chest with his massive skull. The Spinosaurus tips back but twists and catches himself with his long arms. The Spinosaurus kicks back with his hind leg and his toes hit the T. rex in the face, sending the ruler of the forest stumbling. The Spinosaurus lifts his heavy body and dashes towards the Tyrannosaurus with a roar. Like a matador, the T. rex sidesteps the unseen pharaoh. The immense Spinosaurus can't stop himself because of the momentum he gained with his sprint. He turns his head in preparation for his collision with a towering eucalyptus tree. With a mighty thud, the Spinosaurus is sent crashing into the tree. Cracking loudly, the tree falls. The eucalyptus tree smashes into another and it tilts as birds and monkeys flee from both. The injured Spinosaurus attempts to shake the pain of bruised ribs and turns to face the T. rex. The mighty tyrant is nowhere to be seen. With a snarl, the Spinosaurus sniffs the air.
Too late he realizes that the Tyrannosaurus never left and a bone crushing bite impacts his tail. The fuming Spinosaurus whips himself around to face the attacker and the T. rex is almost dragged to the ground. His teeth dig deep and he hangs on still and pulls back with great force. The Spinosaurus sees that this has become a show of power. A gruesome tug-o-war game, his tail acting as the rope. Muscles rippling, the pharaoh digs his feet into the damp forest ground and yanks the T. rex forwards. The king holds his own though, putting all of his 40 foot long and 8 ton body into a pull. The match is a stalemate for a few moments until the king of crocodiles puts a full effort in at the expense of searing pain in his tail. The huge spinosaur yanks the tyrannosaur to the ground and flicks his tail to the side, freeing himself. Having landed on his belly, the Tyrannosaurus can stand easier than usual taking a fall. But perhaps not fast enough. The Spinosaurus stomps down in an attempt to crush the skull of the Tyrannosaurus using his greater weight. The Tyrannosaurus manages to narrowly dodge the attack but the Spinosaurus' claws still rake his snout. Desperately scrambling to stand, the Tyrannosaurus barely manages to get up before the Spinosaurus brings his foot down where the Tyrannosaurus was just a brief time ago, missing. But he still manages to attack the Tyrannosaurus. He rushes at the tyrant lizard king and catches him with his immensely powerful arms and squeezes, holding the Tyrannosaurus still with a grip of death. He uses his long crocodilian snout to deliver a devastating bite to the T. rex's face, cracking the king's skull. The Tyrannosaurus pulls back and yanks the Spinosaurus' head with him, forcing the pharaoh to release him. He slips through the Spinosaurus' grip and headbutts the pharaoh in the ribs. Gaining some leverage in the fight, the T. rex hip bumps the Spinosaurus in the leg, lowering the giant to suitable height, and runs to the front of it. The king looks to end the fight in a split second, opening his jaws as wide as possible to crush the huge neck of the Spinosaurus but the pharaoh dodges the bite, twisting to the side and bringing his enormous claws from the Tyrannosaurus' thigh to its shoulder before the king can escape. The Spinosaurus gives chase and the Tyrannosaurus makes a plan. He has trouble outrunning the Spinosaurus, but its bruised lower leg keeps it from catching up to him immediately as it usually would have.
The tail of the T. Rex dangles inches from the long jaws of the Spinosaurus. Leading the Spinosaurus at full speed, the tyrant ducks under the tree that the Spinosaurus knocked over. The pharaoh runs into it head first and nearly knocks himself out. The Tyrannosaurus quickly dashes to the other side of the tree and sinks his teeth into the large muscular structure on the back of the Spinosaurus and shakes his head, breaking multiple spines supporting the ridge. The dazed Spinosaurus utters a low growl and stands on wobbly legs, shaking his groggy head. The Tyrannosaurus dashes at the pharaoh, his banana shaped teeth stabbing down full force at its neck but the Spinosaurus pulls up, only being bitten in the dewlap. The Spinosaurus is fully up and aware know, albeit with a horrible pain in his head. He slaps the saliva out of the Tyrannosaurus' mouth and the king retaliates with a headbutt to the chest. The Spinosaurus teeters, but retains his stance. The Spinosaurus drops to all fours and lunges at the T. rex, mouth agape. The Tyrannosaurus tears a good sized chunk of bloody flesh from the shoulder of the giant spinosaur as he dodges the attack. Turning around rather quickly, the Spinosaurus slices open the king's face. The pharaoh attacks with a powerful swipe again, but the T. rex counters by biting down on the Spinosaurus' hand when it slaps at him. Having nearly all of the skin pealed off of his skull, the Tyrannosaurus is starting to bleed heavily. The Spinosaurus roars at the smaller yet just as deadly theropod and digs his free arm's claws deep into the tyrant's face. His bone sickles carve into the T. rex's skull, his claws raking through bone with a horrendous noise like nails on a chalk board. Muffled snarls and loud roars echo through the forest as the T. rex and Spinosaurus attack each other, the tyrant's skull being ripped open and the crocodile king's arms getting yanked around and broken. Suddenly, the ground shakes. The rumbling gradually grows more and more earthshaking until a herd of Argentinosaurus and Alamosaurus break into the forest.
They number in the hundreds and come from the south, heading north into the valley as part of their trimonthly migration. However, it appears they ran into trouble on their way to the valley of carcharodontosaurs. Packs of Saurophaganax, Yangchuanosaurus, Tyrannotitan and a few Torvosaurus attack the herd. Flying Quetzalcoatlus and ground based Hatzegopteryx attack a wounded younger member alongside the Torvosaurus. In all of the confusion, the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus still look to attack each other. They have to break apart constantly to avoid being stepped on or attacked by another hungry theropod. A Torvosaurus, running full speed at 30 miles per hour, smashes into the T. Rex and knocks him over. While the Torvosaurus gets up fairly quick to continue the attack on his sauropod, the exhausted and wounded Tyrannosaurus takes longer to stand, being trampled by various small theropods and scavenging abelisaurs following the now passed herd. The Spinosaurus fares no better. He is being attacked by a pair of bear-like Hatzegopteryx on the ground, the enormous giraffe sized pterosaurs pecking him apart after a Yangchuanosaurus couple brought him down in a feeding frenzy. The two are scared away by a young giant abelisaur trying to scavenge. She sniffs the pharaoh and gently bites at him, trying to determine whether or not he is dead. Regardless, he isn't attacking. A subadult like her needs to eat as much as possible and, realizing this, starts chewing through his scutes. She's shoved away by the Tyrannosaurus.
The battered and shredded king is much bigger than her now, since she is only about 24 feet long, so she doesn't fight but instead leaves and starts tracking the sauropod herd again to hopefully catch some scraps of the first kill. The Tyrannosaurus looks at the giant's body and sniffs it, easily telling that it is alive with his amazing sense of smell. He prepares to finish it off when the Spinosaurus suddenly opens its eyes and slashes the Tyrannosaurus across the throat. Blood spills across the Spinosaurus' face. He tastes the red liquid pouring into his mouth. The Tyrannosaurus tries to finish the blood blinded Spinosaurus with a bite to the neck during his last moments. The Spinosaurus tucks his head and holds his arms up, protecting his neck. The Tyrannosaurus viciously tears at his arms, shattering bones. He pushes the Spinosaurus' head up but stumbles back, getting dizzy. He starts to move towards Spinosaurus again. Just as he is about to bite the neck of the Spinosaurus, the megalosaur descendant lunges forwards with his head and crushes the T. rex's windpipe. The jaws of the pharaoh crush the Tyrannosaurus' neck and he falls, his head on the Spinosaurus' neck. The Spinosaurus shoves the Tyrannosaurus off. He stands, bruised, battered, broken and bleeding, though victorious. The triumphant pharaoh inhales before releasing a roar; a roar that echoes from the southern beaches of Sorna, throughout the jungles, across the rivers and lakes, down to the plains, through the mountains and into the northern caves and forests. All around the island, dinosaurs hear the noise and know that the pharaoh, the king of crocodiles, Spinosaurus, stands as the victor in a battle royale of predatory giants.
WINNER OF FBR IV: SPINOSAURUS AEGYPTIACUS Size and weaponry gave the Spinosaurus the win. When push came to shove, the stronger animal with a wider arsenal pulled out the win. And with that, we wrap up another edition of Final Battle Royale with the pharaoh reigning supreme.
"Best wishes Your friend and fellow Jurassic Park fan," DinoFights.
sigh... thats the last thing he said in the PM...
He always wrote the best fights... To The one and only DinoFights
"2 roars ring out; across site A and B, across coasta rica, across north america, across the world, Much like a twenty one gun salute, they signal the passing of someone of importance, or the arrival of something important, All of them all of the prehistoric creatures, On both islands, pause and add there roar to the wave of noise, as it explodes through the world, started by just 2... These 2 shall never roar again simotainously, until something like this occurs again... But extinction... it isnt always forever... no... Life, Life- Life, it-it finds A way..."
"Were there is loss, there is light... Something good will come of this..."
