MemberCompsognathusSep-30-2013 9:57 AMWelcome to the 5th day of DeltaFights. We have two very poorly known dinosaurs, so I'm just going with what I think it right. Also, they have the longest names of the competition. Without further adu, lets see the competitors.
*Note. Sorry I didn't get it done on Friday. I was too lazy then. So sorry once again.*
Dandakosaurus

Length: 30 feet
Height: 10 Hips, 12 Head
Weight: 2.7 tons
Weapons: 5 inch teeth, 2 inch hand claws, 4 inch horn
Prey: Anything they can kill (but they tend to stay away from Ankylosaurs)
Habitat: Forest, Grassland, Mountain
Behavior: Dandakosaurus is a very vicious animal. It will attack anything, and that gives it a lot of fighting experience. It can bite with about .15-1 ton of force, and its teeth are designed to cut, but not crush, bone. Its horn is normally used in battle, being anchored to its skull, it doesn't normally break off. There is a keratin sheath around it to protect it anyways. It isn't very smart, and has a very primitive brain. It doesn't hunt in pack, at max two Dandakosaurus have ever been seen together. However, it has still been observed attacking and killing a Sonorasaurus.
Sigilmassasaurus

Length: 25 feet
Height: 8 Hips, 10 Head
Weight: 1.5 tons
Weapons: 4 inch hand claws, 3 inch teeth
Prey: Fish, Iguanadonts
Habitat: River
Behavior: Sigilmassasaurus seems to be a strange link between the Carcharodontosaurs and the Spinosaurs. It has the best features of each. It possessed long, powerful Spinosaur arms. A strong skull with forward pointing eyes and blade like teeth. Both Allosaur and Spinosaur ability to run at fairly high speeds. It had a fairly advanced brain for an Spinosaur/Carcharodontosaur, but still isn't very smart. It also is a solitary hunter, and doesn't seem to attack dinosaurs much bigger than itself.
Roll of the Dice..... 5: Tundra/Snowy
Its snowy, what more do you need to know. There is a large lake nearby, and several conifer trees are nearby.
Fight!!!
A Sigilmassasaurus is in shallow water. The water is just above freezing, and it is snowy all around. This is all worth it because giant salmon come here to lay their eggs. The salmon have already died, and the lake is littered with their large carcasses. The Sigilmassasaurus can be picky and only chooses the right salmon. The Sigilmassasaurus is a young female, and she has only just reached adulthood. She brings a large salmon back to the shore and starts to eat it. She hears a loud roar and a Dandakosaurus comes into view. Its brown color makes it stick out in the snow, and its horn is a dead giveaway. The Sigilmassasaurus however, is grayish white and partially blend in with the snow. Still, she is spotted by the Dandakosaurus, and the message is clear, the Dandakosaurus wants her fish. No problem, there is enough to go around, and she will just to get another one. She wanders into the fringed water again and grabs a random fish. She returns to the beach to find the Dandakosaurus has finished his fish, and wants her new fish too. She gives it up once again, but now she is getting angry. She grabs one more fish, but walks a while down the lake. Then, she gets far away from the shore, and starts to eat. After getting about halfway throgh her meal, she hears another roar. She turns to see the Dandakosaurus walking towards her. This time, she doesn't back done, and roars at the approaching Ceratosaur. The Dandakosaurus just hastens his pace. The Sigilmassasaurus is enraged at the Dandakosaurus, and she charges at it, roaring. The Sigilmassasaurus closes the distance between she and the Dandakosaurus quickly. Then she swings her arm and her 4 inch hand claws cut deep into the Ceratosaur's chest. The Dandakosaurus roars and slashes at the Sigilmassasaurus, cutting into her neck. The Spinosaur roars and backs up quickly. Then she shoots her neck forwards and grabs the Dandakosaurus's snout in her jaws. The Dandakosaurus shakes his head and the Sigilmassasaurus looses her grip. The Dandakosaurus lowers his head and slams it into the Sigilmassasaurus's chest. His horn cuts into the flesh, and as the Dandakosaurus lifts his head, the horn slices through the flesh. The air is freezing, and even the little cuts are in excruciating pain. The Sigilmassasaurus slashes the Dandakosaurus's shoulder. The Dandakosaurus roars and slashes the Sigilmassasaurus's neck. The Spinosaur swings her head and hits the Dandakosaurus on the side. The Dandakosaurus turns quickly and bites down on the Sigilmassasaurus's back. His long teeth cut through the flesh easily, and some teeth reach the bone. The Sigilmassasaurus roars in pain as her lumbar Vertebra have large cuts in the bone. The Sigilmassasaurus tires to shake the Dandakosaurus off, and finally she does. The Dandakosaurus swings his body and hits the Sigilmassasaurus hard.mthe Spinosaur is sent flying, and lands hard. The Sigilmassasaurus stands up painfully, and looks at the Dandakosaurus. The Ceratosaur runs at the Sigilmassasaurus and slams into the Spinosaur's side. He then proceeds to slash it. The Sigilmassasaurus roars in pain and runs away. She is faster than the Dandakosaurus, but the snow is a couple feet thick, and being shorter than the Ceratosaur, is impacted more than it. The Dandakosaurus catches up to the Sigilmassasaurus and bites down on its leg. The Sigilmassasaurus roars and yanks its leg free, but the Dandakosaurus just bites down on it again. The Spinosaur swings her tail and knocks the Dandakosaurus free of her leg. The Ceratosaur swings his head and hits the Sigilmassasaurus's knee, making the Spinosaur fall. The Dandakosaurus bites down on the Spinosaur's stomach, but doesn't do any real damage. The temperature has frozen the wounds and blood flow has been stopped. The Dandakosaurus lets go of the Sigilmassasaurus and gets kicked in the jaw by the Spinosaur. The Sigilmassasaurus gets up, and then swings her arm at the Dandakosaurus. Her claws slash the Ceratosaur's neck. The Ceratosaur roars in pain and then bites down on the Sigilmassasaurus's neck. The Spinosaur roars and swings his arms, trying to escape. The Ceratosaur shakes his head and body around, his teeth make deep cuts. The Dandakosaurus swings the Sigilmassasaurus around like a rag doll, swinging her this way and that, and shredding up her neck too. The poor Spinosaur is in great pain, and finally, her neck is broken. The Dandakosaurus finally throws the Spinosaur across the battlefield. The Spinosaur is barely alive, but she feels no pain. Her spinal cord was snapped, and the rest of her body has practically been cut off from the brain. The Dandakosaurus then puts his foot on the Spinosaur's head, and pushes down. The head of the Sigilmassasaurus is crushed, and is instantly killed.
Winner...... Dandakosaurus!!!

Dandakosaurus was bigger and badder than the Sigilmassasaurus. The Sigilmassasaurus was just delaying her death, and the Dandakosaurus was an entire ton heavier than the Spinosaur.

MemberCompsognathusSep-30-2013 12:04 PMQuick question should i use the venomous JP Dilo? I was originally not going to but because of his weak bite i feel it may even the playing field.

DinoSteve93
MemberCompsognathusSep-30-2013 1:34 PMI think you should use the normal dilo. He's just awesome his way. Just my opinion. ;)

MemberCompsognathusSep-30-2013 6:19 PMPolarizing action in this fight. Nice job.
@ Eustreptospondylus, use normal Dilo. What it lacks in bite it makes up for with speed, agility, jumping ability and better chances at getting up after being kicked over. Also, don't use this Cryolophosaurus

It wasn't that thick or powerful. This is a more realistic reconstruction.

Still more robust than Dilophosaurus, however.

MemberCompsognathusSep-30-2013 6:23 PMWell, I think Dilo was poisonous, so I say go for it
Hi

Eustreptospondylus
MemberCompsognathusSep-30-2013 6:53 PMYeah i think i may just go for the normal Dilo the way i see the story in my head would make better sense with the normal Dilo. I think i'm gonna write it tonight and post it tomorrow.
