Terrance's Story Part 8

This part sets up the last part, and has a "Bonus Feature" after the story. A New Beginning A year later, Terrance and his mate, and Thorn and her mate, are a T-Rex pack of four members and their five kids. This is simply because Terrance and Thorn share a strong bond after being together for twenty years. Terrance and his mate have two, while Thorn and her mate have three. Terrance and Thorn always went out hunting, and alway brought back something that lasted a few days. The kids are much the same as how Terrance and Thorn were, nothing special, they just have more parental care and guidance. Terrance is strong parental figure because he had looked after Thorn for several years before she could join him on hunts. Terrance was arguably a better parent than some female T-Rex were. While Terrance and Thorn were on a routine hunting trip, it started to rain, got really windy, and it was colder than usual. They weren't effected by this, but they knew their kids might be. They turn to go back, knowing they still have some of last week's kill, a large bull Triceratops, so they don't need food for a day or two. They suddenly heard a load roar coming from the nesting area, and they quickly ran back to the nest. When they got back they saw the pair of T-Rex that they hadn't seen in years had killed their mates and were chasing the kids. Terrance and Thorn are both bigger than them, and they are in their prime, while age is catching up this pair of T-Rex. The pair is still strong and will be a challenge for Terrance and Thorn. Terrance angrily roars out a challenge, and is met with another roar, as well as the kids taking refuge behind him and Thorn. Terrance and Thorn walk over to their long time enemies, and they are ready to fight to the death for what they did to their mates and parents. Combatant Description Terrance is fearless. Nothing can match Terrance in strength. Terrance is six feet taller than any other T-Rex, and fifteen feet longer, as well as a ton heavier, all with the exception of Thorn. Terrance is tough, and is more than capable of taking a bite from another Rex. His overall toughness has saved his life because he lacks the speed and agility of his younger sister. He had a bad experience with a Nanotyrannus when he was younger, and Nanotyrannus was his biggest fear until he was bigger than them. At the same time, Nanotyrannus gave Terrance most of his combat experience, and it was just the one that nearly killed him that gave him fear. Now his only fear is a T-Rex that is bigger than him. Terrance's main downfall is that he lacks self control when faced against "The Pair". Terrance will try to intimidate before actually fighting. All Terrance does is show no fear, and everything gets scarred by it. Terrance will use anything and everything in fight. One time in a battle with a Triceratops, he backed up until there was tree right behind him, and when the Triceratops charged, Terrance jumped out of the way and let it jam it's horns in the tree before killing it. Thorn lacks the bite force and overall toughness of her older brother, but she is faster and is more accurate. She has faster reflexes than Terrance, and her reflex speed has saved her multiple times. She has more self control due to not knowing what happened to her parents, with the added benefit of maternal instinct to fuel her in this fight. Thorn saved Terrance from a Nanotyrannus by biting it's neck, and then Terrance finished it off. Thorn hasn't been in many fights, but she will use her speed and agility to overwhelm an opponent before going in for the kill. The pair of T-Rex has experience. After over twenty years, they may not be the strongest or fastest, but they are experienced, and were the most feared creatures in the valley until Terrance and Thorn reached adulthood. These two will be the biggest challenge Terrance and Thorn ever have to tackle. The male is older, weaker, smaller, and wounded. While he has this disadvantage, he is the most experienced one in the fight. He has been in many fights, and he has won all of them. The male has never had any fear, but he has never seen Terrance in a fight. He uses intimidation before attacking. His many scars show he has been in many fights, and his confidence intimidates a lot of opponents. The female is not quiet as old as the male, but she is significantly older than Terrance and Thorn. She is stronger than the male, and almost as strong as Thorn. She has more experience than Terrance and Thorn. She has also been in many fights, but has lost on a rare occasion. The female's only fear is Terrance. She had seen Terrance before, she saw him fighting a Triceratops while taking care of the male, who had broken his leg and was unable to hunt. The female never attacks head on, she has always had the help of her mate, and attacked from the side.
