Giganotosaurus Runs a Gauntlet Sorry about the long wait... forgot about the series with my weird schedule :/... Anyway.... Quite possibly the greatest predator ever to evolve in South America, a 51 foot 12 ton Giganotosaurus takes the daring challenge of running the gauntlet. Will he pass all 10 obstacles that we have laid before him? 1. Das monster will do some damage. Are bringing up the sizes a little? Tarbo would not get to 9 tons, and I don't think Tyrannotitan would get to 11.25 tons. I don't see Giga getting much past fight 5.

Sue, the largest T. rex known, was recently moved up to 9-10 tons and Tarbosaurus is probably roughly the same size at maximum size. Tyrannotitan's upper estimates pass 50 feet and 13 tons so I down scaled a little in my head.

It's also supposed to be "tyrannosaur-like" in skull, tooth and body shape. Strange for a carcharodontosaur.

I did not know that Tyrannotitan got that big (upper estimates of course). What would the average be though?

40 ft and 5 tons for Tyrannotitan. Maybe 43 ft and 6-7 tons. I feel Giga would have some trouble with Das Monster. I don't really seeing him get past 5 or maybe 6. He has a lot of tough challenges early on. If he would get past them, he would be so injured, he would probably drop dead after the Torosaurus drives even one horn into him.
